You might want to reconsider aghs on Hood. Mid-to-late, it’s very powerful. It’s a free auto-aiming ult (especially useful if your team is chasing down a Bristleback), it gives Hood invisibility, it stuns anyone who attacks the decoy, and because of the invisibility, you can use it not only for escape but to bait the enemy into initiating.

While sharp shooter is loading, you can use bushwack and acorn shot.

A scurry also adds cast range .
and attack range as well. Part of the reason why in higher MMR sometimes they max it even 1st.
Around 13:30 The tactic is called hit & run.
Also: You can use an iron branch for bushwhack, if no other trees are nearby.
