    Why do manufacturers insist on using piano black in a car. It is a dust magnet and such an overrated look to it. It is fine on a nicely crafted "piano" like it's intended but inside a car it looks so out of place. I think that anyone who likes that finish inside a car is just mislead, misinformed consumers who are manipulated by the manufacturers advertisement strategies. I have never met a person who can establish a decent, informed and knowledgeable argument in favor of this finish in a car; I'm disregarding "cus I like it" kind of superficial ones. There are many other options or possibilities for a car interior finish but using this is just wrong.

    • @suntherizer
      @suntherizer ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Couldn’t agree more. I chose the only other option which is beige just not to have piano black. I rented a Merc GLC once and it was piano black all around the tunnel. It was so rough despite being a 10k car.

      We want wood finish back. If real wood, even better. I have always associated wood finish with luxury since my childhood coz that’s what expensive cars had. And it actually looked good.

    This particular unit is very well equipped.. I recognise quite a few additional packages, though it doesn't have auxiliary heating or top spec seats. These two options alone cost almost 3 grand so it's understandable that it's missing but otherwise.. pretty loaded.

      the car is a light weight for its size, what did you think why that is? Saved on materials. It gives it a decent competitive advantage in acceleration, but comfort and noise is a minus compared to something like an a6, 5 series or e-class

      Yes but c300 is small inside, at superb has rear seat more space than e class and very big trunk. Maybe compare better with e class, bmw 5series or audi a6 because of size

      @Seba03111976 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      @@TESTDRIVEFREAK I know is much smaller in the back seats but the space looks like the only advantage in this case besides the smaller advantage in terms of performance. No matter how you look, 60000 is too much for a Skoda. The prices have gone mad high in general for cars. For 25000 30000 euro you buy just a compact car with basic engines and medium extras.

It was so good, I bought another insignia and used to gap Passats at traffic lights. Now I have a 2018 Passat again, and I want my insignia back. Much better drivers car than my Passat. Felt more connected. Price had nothing to do with it as I bought them new. Spent 50,000 back in 2018 ( I live in Ireland) buying this Passat, and yeah it looks ok, I specced all the options except a panoramic roof, and I'd still have the Insignia over it.
