Wow! Danke Marcus. Ich habe so ein Superb aber Velvet Red/Rot Farbe. Jetzt wenn Ich habe diese Videogesehen, muß Ich nach Deutschland kommen und testen wie ist es maximum Hochgeschwingkeit zu fahren. 😎 Mir war es ein Überraschung das maximum war 265 km/h also nicht nur limitierte 250 km/h und auch es das Du hast auch mit Comfort setting über 250 fahren.

In your opinion based on experience you have from driving many different vehicles, how comfortable is Superb? And sound isolation? Is it good?
Suspension is absolute garbage and sound insulation is like 35 % to 40% worse than Passat B8. If you ask why it's garbage. They made it too soft. But not soft likethat it's smooth the potholes. It floats like boat on nice roads if you have elevation differences. It's very anoying and me personal makes sick. Passat B8 has way better suspension. It doesn't float like Titanic but it filters potholes better than Superb.
For me, The passat b8 is better isolated and the dcc works a lot smoother

Sehr gutes Video!! Mein Abo hast Du auf jeden Fall, lieber Marcus. Ich bin eher der typische "Ich-stehe-voll-auf-Mercedes Fanboy", aber ein Skoda ist ein Skoda. Sehr gelungenes Auto wie ich finde. Der neue Superb hat mich ein bisschen daran erinnert, das ich auf der Autobahn mal von einem bei 230 weggelichthupt wurde! :D
Habe mit einem Skoda Yeti fahren gelernt, da es das Auto meiner Mutter war und junge hab ich den Wagen über die Straße geprügelt.. Aber immer zuverlässig.

Am I right that the top spec Superb is faster than the Octavia vrs and if so why, when the vrs is clearly promoted as a sports vehicle.

Because in Porsche for example the seat is terrible. You can't go more then 50km distance
YES COMFORTABLE BUT IN HIGH SPEED YOU WILL HEAR BIG NOISE . And ALSO IN RUDE ROAD ITS NOT GOOD. I PREFER PASSAT

You know whats funny? When he slows down from 250 to 120-130 in one part of the video and it becomes like unwatchable lol. You have the feeling that the car is about to stop. It really messes with our perception of speed.

all EU cars are limited at 250km/h I think, some of them are able to reach 270 (Porsche for example I think)
Yes it is limited - 264-5 km/h on tacho is exactly 250km/h GPS in this car. I have same technical specificatin car only different color - black. Car could be little bit faster without el limited. When you drive 265 - you have little bit place to push gas pedal, but nothing happens. I have several test night drives like this. You got the point lokasz.

ive got a 280HP superb 2018 but with logo on trunk, new superbs with inscription "ŠKODA" are just 272HP :)
To ti závidím. Parádní vozítko. Teď jsou škodovky lepší než bývaly. Aspoň se mi víc líbí.

Mega Vidio 👍😎 265 Tacho sind wirklich echte 250 Kmh.... Überlege ob ich mir den Motor / Antrieb gönne nächstes Jahr leider nicht als Sportline.. ( Mir dan zu teurer 😁) Oder doch den Sportline dan mit 190PS !? Was eigentlich völlig reicht.

do you happen to know why 2.0 tsi has 272hp and 2.0 tdi has only 200? why is diesel weaker if the cc is the same?
Because fuel is a more refined product and releases it's energy more easily. For example spark plugs are used in fuel engines but not in diesel engines.
It doesn't matter. You can easily do the same thing in the diesel version. You can go 260. And it more reliable
I dislike the fully-digital display. Theres really no advantage in it other than seeing a huge Skoda logo when you start the car. Also when it breaks its gonna be much more expensive to replace than a regular speedometer.
