That was AWESOME, Richard! So many cool cars - Studebaker Avanti, that 64 Corvette & towards the end, that red and white car is 57 Nash Metropolitan - our neighbour had one when I was 8!! Loved this 11/10 !! :)
One of the fellas that attend our church has an Avanti. I always wanted to do a video on it and see if I could get a ride in it. Studebakers were built in South Bend, Indiana, about 40 minutes from here. I should visit the museum there. I first saw a Metropolitan when I was a kid, also. I was on a ferris wheel at a carnival when I noticed it. It looked so tiny compared to auto in the 50s. Thanks for watching, and I always enjoy reading your comments. How is the knee coming? I see the brace is off. Keep plugging on the weight loss and strength training. I should be following your example.
@@whatsupwithrichard Back in the days when cars had individual style and panache! Yes, that would be very cool & the Studebaker museum! Going OK, still very sore! I have a very cool fitness aid coming soon (if finances allow) that will be right up your alley! :)
This is one of the oldest and largest in the area. There are a couple more scheduled in the area, but one a year is enough for me. I'll just tune into @SomeplaceOrAnother to see more awesome autos.👍
I'm with you. I have two cars, both old! It's nice to see the shiny vehicles of days gone by, fully restored, and modified. I keep telling Mrs. G my hobbies aren't all that expensive compared to what these folks spend. She doesn't seem to agree with my point.🥺
Those cares were fantastic. I would have loved to have gone to the show. My favourite was the red 1950s Chevy Bel Air. I understand that they are pretty expensive these days!!
I believe you're correct. My great grandfather had a Bellaire, and my uncle wanted to restore it, but it was too far gone and would be too pricy to fix. Amazingly, some car lovers will give these old relics some TLC, and what you get is what is what you see. Cool.
Never thought about that 🤔. You're right. I do believe a large amount of wax and hours of polishing make those classics and hotrods shine. I'm feeling guilty now. I should at least wash my poor old car. LOL

very interesting work my dear friend i enjoyed it !
Thank you so much. It's a great car show for sure. Americans do love their vehicles, and these folks especially.
Never really got into cars, probably because i don't drive, but i can appreciate the beauty of classic cars💯👍12
