I’ve used LANDR for years. I have found the actual plug-in to be a little “buggy” and sometimes it will default to the last setting even after it says it is “processing.” I also have ozone and logic. What I do like about LANDR’s online platform is it forces me to use my ears and not my eyes for subtle difference. The key to getting a great master on the website is to cut your low frequencies a couple dB before hand and have your output peak at -6 dB before exporting and then uploading. I also like that every single song I’ve uploaded on there since 2016 is still there, it’s a great place to store your exports. Great video man! Exactly what I was looking to watch
Thanks for the video. I bought LANDR (online version) a few weeks before Logic's Mastering Assistant came out. And I must say, if it had come out earlier, I would have saved my money. And now with Logic's built in mastering tool, I don't use LANDR at all.
I have ozone 11 and find it a great tool while learning. to me though in your comparison i find logic did the best version OOTB, though it is very subtle, the drums did it for me, they sounded more punchy in logics mastering sample. will try it will some of my own stuff cos I really did sleep on logics mastering. use the vocal correction all time though. another note. I got ozone 10 complete for very cheap, and sold the guitar rig which came with it and got half the cash back, then upgraded to the newer version of mastering suit, cos they gave a £50 upgrade offer. best money spent.

Thanks for letting me know, looking back at the website it’s so obvious with the circles on the logo as well 😂 surprised no one else has mentioned it. Will note for any future videos featuring them, thank you, glad you enjoyed it!
Thanks for the feedback :) something I've toned down in my in my latest recordings, but as I record sometimes a month in advance, will take a while to filter through. :)
Again,, the Ozone sounds better to me. After your demos on the Logic plugins I am a bit leery about their DAW/Plugin bundle. I used reaper for years (and still do) but I have never seen any real side by side comparisons on the DAWs other than Reaper only comes with stock plug ins and nothing to speak of for samples. However,,, I have not had opportunity to utilize any midi controllers with Reaper because ,,,ancient pc bottlenecking. So, is Logic , as a DAW really providing a superior DAW and functionality other than the plugins and sample library,, which according to your other videos on Piano samplers etc.. Logic Piano seems , again ,Vague and somewhat non expressive. Great Honest , videos.

I agree - the dynamic EQ in Ozone is excellent.

Thanks for the video I’m a beginner taking baby steps waiting to get my MacBook Pro, Logic Pro & arcade. 👍
Good luck! Glad you enjoyed it, arcade is a great tool!
Thank you for the comparison.

Try Exonic UK mastering plugin...impressive . I tend to like the way Landr put the bass onto the mix a lot...always elegant and precise
Thanks for the comment, and bringing Exonic to my attention, Will definitely try their AI master ☺️

Such a minor, unimportant thing..., but the name of the company is "Left AND Right." So, it's pronounced "El and Are." Thank you for the comparison!

In the spirit of constructive criticism I think you could improve your presentation by reducing most of the unnecessary hand waving 😊
