Quick questions!
What kind of watercolor is best for this type of painting, a non staining, low staining, or staining? I supposed high staining is not a good option.... or it doesn't matter? I honestly don't know. Also, is it better to use non granulating colors, or that doesn't matter either?

Answer to those questions really depends on your preference. If you like to layer and lift up colors than you should use non staining colors. If you like to put paint on and leave it there then staining is better option. I live granulating colors, so that would always be my choice. For looser style I would definitely pick granulating and for more detail work, probably non granulating would be easier to control. Hope that helps a bit. It really is a broad subject, so I could talk about it for hours. 😅
