because even with the issues it had, there are some pretty good scenes in the film, like the CGI was great, whenever you saw him swinging through the city was awesome, it had more of the comic book look to it, the action scenes are done pretty nicely and there are a few scenes here and there that are actually good, it just covered by it's issues
thebigbadone1234 I can a agree with that, the action was cool, but for me at least the script, electros bitch ass, the stupid as fuck Phillip Phillips song in the middle of the movie, and the way the movie ended like the trailers just made me a sad sad person.

HEYDuDE607 You do have to realize though that opinions especially on movies can update and change overtime. Sometimes even drastically. When they film reviews it is usually right after they saw it or maybe a few days or a week after they saw it. Either way it's usually not all that long after they saw the film. So it's more of a first reaction to the movie. But as time goes on and they think about it more their opinions change. Also if they watch the movie again that can also update how they feel about it. For example how he said he watched it again multiple times to try and like it but, it made him actually hate it more as he said. I actually enjoy the amazing spiderman 2 and consider it overall a very good movie heck I own the blu ray but i can understand why others just can't get into it. As much as I enjoyed it. Man, what a bunch of BS! 6) Left Behind. By far the worst 2014 movie that I've seen! 7) Mall. Expected something like "Elephant" of Gus van Sant, but...nope! 8) RoboCop. Another really unnecessary remake! 9) Tammy. Pfff...just an aweful "comedy"! 10) Seventh Son. Maybe even worse than the movie Eragon! 11) Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Loved the TV-series, but a live-action version of the mutant turtles is just not something for me! 12) Transformers: Age Of Extinction. Ow man...my youth sentiment is now really destroyed! :( Michael Bay should really step down and let someone else direct a reboot that is more in line with the TV-series of the 80s! 13) Into The Woods. I really didn't know beforehand that this was going to be a musical. I'm not a fan of musicals, but you have "musicals" and you have "MUSICALS". What do I mean by that?! Well, you have musicals that have just a couple of songs (5/6 or so) and inbetween there're some real acting parts (like: The Blues Brothers, West Side Story, Grease, Mary Poppins, etc.)...so "musicals". And you have musicals with almost continues singing throughout the whole movie (like: Moulin Rouge, Evita, Into The Woods, etc.)...so "MUSICALS"!
My Top 10 Rotten Eggs of 2014: 10. God's Not Dead 9. I, Frankenstein 8. A Haunted House 2 7. Tammy 6. Legends of Oz 5. Annabelle 4. Ouija 3. The Legend of Hercules 2. The Identical 1. Left Behind
The only movie I saw last year that I didn't at least like was The Amazing Spider-Man 2. What a fucking abomination. They clearly wrote a Bible-sized script, filmed 8 hours of footage and then cut it down to something vaguely resembling a movie. This was confirmed when all those deleted scenes were released, including one where Richard Parker is actually alive (seriously). These people have no idea what the fuck they're doing, and it's made all the more frustrating by the fact that Andrew Garfield and Emma Stone could have been a great Peter and Gwen in a decent movie.
I loved the amazing Spiderman 2 because it plays out like a Spiderman movie. XD So much better then the original Spiderman 2. TF AOE wasn't too bad, but he's right, someone does need to give Michael bay a real script.
When Tobey McQuire (or whatever that dudes name is) played spiderman, i felt like jumping of a cliff into a pool of acid and being eaten by piranhas. Thats how badly he suited and portrayed the character of Peter Parker/Spiderman, not the mention the girl who played MJ was as much of a 'supermodel' as i am! (Aka not hot. At ALL!). Out of all of the hot and feisty hollywood actresses out there that they could've gotten to play MJ, they got some hippy looking awkward being. The good thing about the two amazing spider man films is that Andrew Garfield and Emma Stone really suit their characters, and make their emotions believable. There is comedy in the films and action, and is captures the romance between the lovers. I must say i don't like how they kill off at least two people per film, but thats how the story goes so fair enough, and although they may not be my fave Marvel films, i think they deserve more credit (compared the old Spider Man films, at least).
Yeah because the perfect way to start out a Spider-Man movie is showing his parents in some irrelevant bullshit and not show the actual hero until 10 mins in
The Third Child better then seeing a cemetery with spiderman and dumbass mary jane crying and staring at each other for 10 minutes. -_- also, you're one of the asshats that say movies need more plot and story. sooo....
Out of the 135 2014 moves I've seen, these would be my worst 26: 26. Annie 25. Cesar Chaves 24. Annabelle 23. Transformers: Age of Extinction 22. No Good Deed 21. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 20. Rio 2 19. Delivery: The Beast Within (not to be confused with Devil's Due) 18. Transcendence 17. Lucy 16. Cabin Fever 3: Patient Zero 15. Let's Be Copes 14. The Longest Week 13. Leprechaun: Origins 12. Need for Speed 11. Heaven is for Real 10. Hellion 9. I, Frankenstien 8. 3 Days to Kill 7. The November Man 6. Tammy 5. Planes: Fire and Rescue 4. The Legend of Hercules 3. The Possession of Michael King 2. Ouija 1. Sex Tape Movies I will never see that probably would have made it on the list: Left Behind, The Other Woman, That Awkward Moment (couldn't make it through half of the film), and Haunt (made past the halfway mark then couldn't take any more of it).
What a badass intro! This is why I love John! Even though his videos are late, he keeps them entertaining and that re-watchability factor was always there.
Here's mine: 28) Snowpiercer 27) Captain America: The Winter Soldier 26) Neighbors 25) Justice League: War 24) Freezers 23) Mercenaries by The Asylum 22) When The Game Stands Tall 21) Brick Mansions 20) Ice Soldiers 19) Rampage: Capital Punishment by Uwe Boll 18) Tusk 17) Winter's Tale 16) A Million Ways To Die In The West 15) The Amazing Spider-man 2 14) Rage 13) Left Behind 12) The Other Woman 11) Maleficent 10) Odd Thomas 9) Tammy 8) Jarhead 2: Field of Fire 7) Persecuted 6) God's Not Dead 5) I, Frankenstein 4) Blended 3) The Book of Life 2) Grumpy Cat's Worst Christmas Ever 1) Planes: Fire and Rescue Dishonorable Mentions: Exodus: Gods and Kings, Non-Stop, Transcendence, The Rover, Robocop, Jersey Boys, Catch Hell, 3 Days to Kill, Monuments Men, Need for Speed, Ride Along, Sin City: A Dame to Kill For, Lucy, Grand Piano, The November Man, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Make of this list what you will.
***** I don't go into movies want to hate them. I go with little to no expectations, hoping they win me over. The reason I've found myself disliking more films is a combination of factors, including bad film elements (writing, editing, acting, effects, pacing, etc), seeing these stories done better before, films not living up to the hype, and more. If you and others like the films on this list, that's alright with me. I don't hold it against you. TL: DR - My film standards are different, just like your's are different my mine.
I don't know why people say Electro was on par with Mr Freeze? Why because of a sing one liner? Because he is blue? 98% of the dialogue were one liners. Its like people forget that even doc ock had a one liner 'You've stuck your webs in my business for the last time.'
DUDE!!! I fucking love your videos!!! I love the enthusiasm in your vids, makes me laugh and I get a great analyzed review of different videos, youre always on point with your analysis and make it fun! keepm coming man! This is my fav one by far!!!
The only good thing for me in Tranformers 4 was Lockdown. I think it's a character that has a lot of potential to become something more. The rest of thr film was hogwash and actually put me off the Transformers franchise. I really hope someone else gets a stab at it to "transform" this PCB contamimated mess into something awesome.
The only one I disagree with is The Amazing Spider-Man 2. I loved the characters, enjoyed the chemistry between Peter and Gwen, and I loved the fight scenes. Electro's lines were pretty bad and I found Aunt May to be annoying. Anyway, great video John!
I personally hated AS1 it was ridiculous and a complete joke. AS2 was just fun and I liked the main villain and SPIDERMAN was improved from the first one.
The Amazing spider man 2 was the definition of spiderman most people should consider that... The music, action, attitude. It WAS spiderman Most people judge movies now a days on what they're not supposed to be For example Transformers 4, this is a movie for the effects and action THAT'S IT and everyone knows that yet they still go see the movie complain how bad it was and judge it for qhat it wasnt supposed to be
Great picks john just a quick question are you ever planning on doing a movie chat with jeremyjahns and Chris stuckmann if so man it will be a dream come true keep up the great work -ur friend Ali
I agree with your picks. My worst was Maleficent bc they turned Disney's best villain into a pansy victim and ruined Phillip my favorite prince. It really made me mad Worst Movies of 2014 and Maleficent Rant: th-cam.com/video/bJD_9-R1BU8/w-d-xo.html
10. Sharknado 2 9. Maleficent 8. Tammy 7. The Other Woman 6. Pompeii 5. Ride Along 4. A Haunted House 2 3. Left Behind 2. Legend of Hercules 1. Nymphomaniacs Vol. 1 and 2 Dishonorable mention: Sabotage
John you really don´t get to see those many movies, do you? TASM2 is not worst of the year material OBVIOUSLY. If only for the acting and Gwen´s emotional scenes. You have tons of worst movies out any given year. Annie IS awful, any Cameron Diaz movie, a lot of awful horror movies and romantic comedies and yeah some of the ones you mentioned are really TERRIBLE. There are many more. seriously I think it´s got out of hand. For most people it is worst than other comic book movies released recently, we get it (not for me since I don´t find any of them to be materpieces), but it has become like a punching bag when it doesn´t deserve such treatment.
My top 10 Worst movies of 2014: 1 Amazing spider-man 2 2 Transformers: Age of Extinction 3 I, Frankenstein 4 the Legend of Hercules 5 the Other Woman 6 Ouija 7 Sabotage 8 Robocop 9 Expendables 3 10 Maleficent Note: I have not seen: left behind, blended, ride along, transcendence, tmnt, annie, anaabelle.
The worst 3 movies I saw this year were.... . The giver: out of all the young adult novel adaptation movies (save for twilight) this was the blandest . Under The Skin: It has great ideas but you have to read a LOT deeper than you should . This one is gonna be very controversial but interstellar: act 1: fine, act 3: good, act 2: ugh way too much exposition and just seems to drag on
myfilms999 Granted these movies aren't in any kind of order, the first and third acts were positive in a sense that a 5 and a 6 is technically positive. The second act really just filled me with apathy and you could make the argument that apathy is worse than rage nevertheless disliking for the 2nd act outweighs my liking for the 1st and 3rd
10. Let's Be Cops 9. Oculus 8. The Purge: Anarchy 7. Life After Beth 6. Transformers: Age of Extinction 5. Draft Day 4. Enemy 3. Tusk 2. Ida 1. Willow Creek Have only seen about 70 movies from last year, the only two i would say i didn't like were Willow Creek & Ida, the rest on the list were okay. I think the only other one on your list i saw was Spider-Man and i liked that. Also only other movies with bad reviews (under 40% on RT) i saw were A Million Ways to Die in the West, Dumb and Dumber To & Need for Speed and thought they were all okay.
The Amazing Spider-Man 2 is more of a mixed bag than a bad movie IMO. Garfield is perfect as Spider-Man/Peter Parker as is Emma Stone as Gwen Stacy, but the story is really jumbled and didn't play out too smoothly. The action in the movie was really good, no complaints there. There definitely needed to be fewer villains. The romantic angle between Peter and Gwen is thousands of times better than the Peter and Mary Jane romance. All in all I think it had the potential to be really good, but it's a little obvious that Sony intervened too much in the making of the movie.
Ninja Turtles was a disappointment the moment when Splinter revealed he learned Martial arts by reading a book...I walked out and asked for my money back. Also when he told the turtles that April raised them and named them was ridiculous.
Yeah. And people are being shockingly fair with their reviews of this movie. The only people who had the balls to call this movie bad were the people from What The Flick. People are blinded by nostalgia. I swear.
Dude you gave the amazing spiderman 2 a c+. We all frozen now your lie in. You just watch a bad review on it and just guest you should have on the list because of the reviews.
theFLICKpick I especially like your story with TASM 2. It's hilarious. It's also sad because I wanted to see a good Spider-Man movie. But after watching the first 2 scenes, I lost interest and just wanted to see how it ends. But boy, was it long to get there!
Agree 100%. I think movies having amazing mind blowing trailers hurt them. You set your expectations high going into the movie, then come out like ugh it wasn't that great.
You say you hated the Amazing Spider-man 2, but in your review you gave it a C+ which is pretty much average. How come you gave it a C+ if you hated it? I don't get it?
Transcendence: Agreed. Boring movie: Nothing unique about guy getting connected to a machine which makes him crazy. Amazing Spider-Man: Agreed. Gwen's death took up too much time. Rhino and Electro looked to goofy for the film. Transformers four: Loved one, but two, three, and four seemed like a cheap repeat of character of bots killing each other. Expendables 1-3: Undecided: Never saw it, but it would be better if the same actors get together for the G. I. Joe movies. Annable: Undecided: Never saw it.Sex Tape: Undecided: Never saw it. Tammy: Undecided: Never saw it. Annie: Undecided: Never saw it . Not my kind of story film. Left behind: Undecided: However, it felt like it was too short.
I still don't get why people hate Spider Man 2. I definitely get it's not a masterpiece, but it's really not as bad as some people say. The Transformers sequels on the other hand are definitely not good.
I'd take the first and third transformers movies over amazing Spider-Man 2 to be entirely honest. Actually both of the amazing Spider-Man movies. It was one giant trailer for sinister six, with a main villain that is tossed aside the last 30 minutes of the movie in favor of another guy who only existed to kill the protagonist's love interest, corny Batman and Robin esque writing, awful pacing especially in the end after gwen died, shoehorned evil corporation that is evil for the sake of being evil, forced relationship (which was totally unnecessary) There was so much wrong with this movie.
I'm surprised you put The Amazing Spider-Man 2 on the list and not the most recent TMNT movie. Now I personally like The Amazing Spider-Man 2, mainly for the performances and the action. The storylines did admittedly get convoluted and they don't connect to each other. But I find it unfair that people act like it's as bad as Spider-Man 3, when it's really not. It didn't have filler or ridiculous dancing. The only commonality were lackluster main villains (Sandman and Electro) and the fact that there was a lot crammed in. But unlike Spider-Man 3, the stuff they crammed into The Amazing Spidey 2 actually WERE storylines and not just filler. As for the TMNT movie, I know it's bad, with a plot recycled from the first Amazing Spidey movie, but at least the turtles' personalities were done right. I enjoy it as a guilty pleasure.
My Top 10: 10. Sex Tape 9. Saving Christmas 8. Ouija 7. Blended 6. Vampire Academy 5. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 4. Transformers: Age of Extinction 3. I, Frankenstein 2. The Legend of Hercules 1. Left Behind And now his best friend's opinion: 10. Blended 9. Drive Hard 8. Winter's Tale 7. Ouija 6. Vampire Academy 5. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 4. I, Frankenstein 3. The Legend of Hercules 2. Transformers: Age of Extinction 1. Left Behind
My bottom 3: #3. Transformers 4: for a film stuffed with CGI, Explosions and obnoxious characters...It was boring, #2 The Nut Job: dated pop culture references, unlikable characters, predictable plot, #1 Legend of Hercules: it's like watching porn without sex
I thought it was really bad, electro was the worst piece of shit ever "Oh? He forgot my name for a second? ARGH, I will now destroy and terrorise this city! Worst character development ever, and I actually like Fox... but oh god such a bland and shitty movie.
Dishonorable mentions: Son Of God, Lucy, No Good Deed Top 10 worst movies of 2014: 1. Ride Along 2. Legends Of Oz: Dorothy’s Return 3. God’s Not Dead 4. Tammy 5. The Pyramid 6. Let’s Be Cops 7. If I Stay 8. Blended 9. Into The Storm 10. The Rover
my 10 Worst Movies of 2014 are 1-I, Frankenstein 2-Under the Skin 3-The Legend Of Hercules 4-Exodus: Gods & Kings 5-Transcendence 6-Pompeii 7-The November Man 8-Dying Of The Light 9-Enemy(Nightcrawler i thought was far better) 10-The Pyramid
Transcendence felt like a Nolan film without the music and pacing. As in interstellar Nolan can handle multiple characters and the quick passing of time and events in a tight paced manner. This had none of that. It has potential if reedited with Nolan music to drive the story and quicker pacing and editing of scenes to create the feeling that everything is leading up to a pivotal point of revelation like all of Nolan's movies. It had the heart and guts if it was simply put together better.
Into the storm. Can't the handheld camera thing just die already. This could have been an awesome movie if it was shot normally, had good actors, didn't have the actors stand feet away from a tornado and stand there as if they are having a quiet picnic, a main character that blames a footage hungry guy for the death of the film crew then back flips And says oh you will be you wink wink, then have that character turn the movie into the biggest joke ever as he flies up above the tornado in the mini tornado proof car and floats above it like a bird before falling down to his death. Wtf... The best thing was the SFX, amazingly good, imagine if they just made the rest of the movie as good.
John I believe you are going to hit 100,000 subs by next week. YOU BETTER DO SOMETHING SPECIAL! Or just make a small video, ya know. Early congratulations :)
Haven't seen a lot of bad movies last year, but my "Top" 3 are: - Noah. Darren Aronofsky is a great director and the Noah had a great look and was well acted. But hell, was I bored out of my mind... - 300: Rise of an Empire. I've never seen 300 and now I don't want to see it. I dislike the visual look, the characters were pretty dumb and god, I like slow mo, but Snyder simply overuses it. - American Hustle. This came out in early 2014 in Switzerland and I was pretty hyped after the reviews. But boy was I bored. It was, like Noah, well acted and an authentic movie, but boring as hell...
I like how you're aware that some people may like the movies that are on your list. Most people's Top 10 Worst lists just go crazy with negativity. It's always annoying to watch someone stink on a movie you love. Good Job!
completely agree about melissa mccarthy. it's like every one of her characters is trying to be like megan from bridesmaids. similar to how i feel about zach galifianakis, but i actually like him in some roles.
The sad thing is these are just movies that people actually bothered to go see. There's even shittier shit like Child of God, The November Man, the january Hercules, Pompeii, 3 Days to Kill, Jinn, Blended, Let's Be Cops, As Above So Below, A Good Marriage, The Pyramid... the list is endless
It really does confuse me on how and why people defend The Amazing Spider-Man 2.
because even with the issues it had, there are some pretty good scenes in the film, like the CGI was great, whenever you saw him swinging through the city was awesome, it had more of the comic book look to it, the action scenes are done pretty nicely and there are a few scenes here and there that are actually good, it just covered by it's issues

Well people can definitely defend it. Also it is not like its the worst movie of 2014 it was more disapoonting.
chavez person Phillips Phillips was necessary.
Nothing screams electrical testing montage like WHEN LIFE LEAVES YOU HIGH AND DRY
chavez person i don't see how a song ruins the movie when it's only in there once, doesn't make much sense either
Well Fantastic Four has already earned its spot for the 2015 list
dont you meen fan4stic
+Game Gloss do you mean fan4shit?
Nikhil Eshvar Precisely
Love your shirt. Definitely one of the best movies of 2014. Jake Gylenhaal should have won best actor.
You can so tell that John had to cut it at 7:13 because of laughing, that grin just proves it
Yes, I agree. The Spider Man movie was terrible. This whole reboot of the Spider Man franchise was a bad idea anyway. Never should have happened.
U never should of happened
I sense a spider man fanboy...
+Noah Reynolds oooh my sense tingle too
+Hariz Ilmani senses*
Thank God he's in Marvel's hands now.
Yes!!!! FINALLY someone says something about The Amazing Spider-Man 2....THAT MOVIE WAS TERRIBLE!!!!
You can call your Nic Cage movie... Left Behind... #2...
Well, I thought it was funny.

You put TASM2 in #3 best of 2014.......
MCruben3000 Hey, it was a fun movie. At least I said Days of Future Past was my favorite film of 2014.
Justin Williams But why would you out a guilty pleasure on number 3 *best* of the year.
MCruben3000 You're right. I should remove that from my guilty pleasure list.
5:12 I laugh so hard at the part where u UPPER CUT the Annabelle. XD
He sure knows what he is body-slamming about. xD
This is what Pisses me off. He owns Transformers 4 and gave it a C. He said he hated Amazing Spiderman 2 but gave it a C. What the fuck!
Great video though, John :)
Why would it piss you off the grade doesn't mean anything, its just a bad movie thats all you need to understand
And most of time he doesn't pay for his blu rays, Studios send them to him to review them
HEYDuDE607 You do have to realize though that opinions especially on movies can update and change overtime. Sometimes even drastically. Jose V yea a grade does matter. C means that it passes with a C. Not to mention he did say the ASM2 movie was fair. Now bam! He hates it so much.

You're probably one of only a few people who's seen Atlas Shrugged: Where Is John Galt? Where do you live?
Actually I haven't seen it. I chose it based on critics. And I don't need to see it to know how crappy that is.
Finally, someone put Pompeii on the list of worst movies of 2014!!!
LMFAO ARE YOU KIDDING ME? did you just say you only say they were bad because of critics??? honestly, wtf is up with you mindless goats have your own oponion for fucking once jeez
The Other Woman was a good movie.
2:07 - 2:10 I COULDNT STOP THINKING ABOUT THAT ALL DAY TODAY!

Hey, remember when Cameron Diaz was HOT in her first movie appearance, the mask?
Yeah, What happened, she's not Hot anymore?
theFLICKpick i believe that the amazing spider-man 2 was a good movie. the only problem was the rhino
Don't forget the shitty romance scenes shoehorned into every 5 minutes of the movie.
And the Green Goblin, and Electro, and the plot, and pretty much everything in the movie.
Cynima Rapscallion The Amazing Spiderman 2 was garbage.
Cynima Rapscallion So is yours.
***** there are always those people that like shitty movies and will defend it to death. They are idiots ignore them
Mark walburg impression is on point

The only movie I saw last year that I didn't at least like was The Amazing Spider-Man 2. What a fucking abomination. They clearly wrote a Bible-sized script, filmed 8 hours of footage and then cut it down to something vaguely resembling a movie. This was confirmed when all those deleted scenes were released, including one where Richard Parker is actually alive (seriously). These people have no idea what the fuck they're doing, and it's made all the more frustrating by the fact that Andrew Garfield and Emma Stone could have been a great Peter and Gwen in a decent movie.
Joseph White Spiderman 3 > TASM 2
Yeahhhhhhh. Go watch spiderman 3. There is alot of horrible characters between Toby McGuire and Kristen. Talk about abomination
Joseph White TROLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL
TheAustralianVitaGamer
More like being obviously ironic, but you guys just can't get it.
I loved the amazing Spiderman 2 because it plays out like a Spiderman movie. XD
So much better then the original Spiderman 2. TF AOE wasn't too bad, but he's right, someone does need to give Michael bay a real script.
*****
Thank you! This guy needs to go to film class.
***** Yeah, the amazing spiderman 2 wasn't he greatest movie, but it didn't deserve to be placed on the worst movies list.
-_- also, you're one of the asshats that say movies need more plot and story. sooo....
Out of the 135 2014 moves I've seen, these would be my worst 26:

Movies I will never see that probably would have made it on the list: Left Behind, The Other Woman, That Awkward Moment (couldn't make it through half of the film), and Haunt (made past the halfway mark then couldn't take any more of it).
Love how you uppercut The Prince.
Bruce Willis left The Expendables 3, yet starred in an action film even worse than that.
My worst film was Men, Women & Children, it was so awful! I had to leave the cinema and I've never done that before haha
I laughed so hard at the nic cage joke. "The movie takes place in my bathroom and he'd probably star in it" I'm subscribing!
yeah that one got me too
What a badass intro! This is why I love John! Even though his videos are late, he keeps them entertaining and that re-watchability factor was always there.

I don't go into movies want to hate them.
"my name is purrkins so I named my shop purrkins"
"huh"
Hope Transformers: Age of Extinction leads to the extinction of the franchise.
That slow zoom on the Annabelle doll in this video was scarier than the entire movie
So Why did you buy transformers 4 on blu ray then...
He didn't buy it, studios send it to him, like most of his movies lately
Jose V Nope he bought it on black friday!
Ninten Guy so he paid what 5$?
Because sometimes he buys shitty movies to appreciate the good movies more. He has said it multiple times
Triforce96 Yes I know but still...
I don't know why people say Electro was on par with Mr Freeze? Why because of a sing one liner? Because he is blue? 98% of the dialogue were one liners. Its like people forget that even doc ock had a one liner 'You've stuck your webs in my business for the last time.'
Wow Jamie fox made this list twice
DUDE!!! I fucking love your videos!!! I love the enthusiasm in your vids, makes me laugh and I get a great analyzed review of different videos, youre always on point with your analysis and make it fun! keepm coming man! This is my fav one by far!!!
Transformers 4 was the biggest let down ever
No, man. I knew that movie was gonna suck from the very beginning.
+Chance Ondriezek lol. I actually went into it thinking it would be the best Transformers movie yet
transformers 4 was awesome I love it more than the 3rd one
Brian Bradshaw Dark of the Moon is still my favorite
AS2 was just fun and I liked the main villain and SPIDERMAN was improved from the first one.
dez pez The originals are worse
The Amazing spider man 2 was the definition of spiderman most people should consider that... The music, action, attitude. It WAS spiderman
Most people judge movies now a days on what they're not supposed to be
For example Transformers 4, this is a movie for the effects and action THAT'S IT and everyone knows that yet they still go see the movie complain how bad it was and judge it for qhat it wasnt supposed to be
Go fuck yourself
Great picks john just a quick question are you ever planning on doing a movie chat with jeremyjahns and Chris stuckmann if so man it will be a dream come true keep up the great work
-ur friend Ali
Once again another epic Mark Wahlberg imitation..and it's dead on. Great top worst list
I agree with your picks. My worst was Maleficent bc they turned Disney's best villain into a pansy victim and ruined Phillip my favorite prince. It really made me mad
Worst Movies of 2014 and Maleficent Rant: th-cam.com/video/bJD_9-R1BU8/w-d-xo.html

2. Legend of Hercules
1. Nymphomaniacs Vol. 1 and 2
Dishonorable mention: Sabotage
I like how he picked his movies by how much potential they had and terribly failed.
you had the balls to put TASM 2 on the list? Respect Mr. FlickPick, respect. Finally a movie reviewer who admits that this movie was garbage.
I love the movie The Amazing Spider-Man 2, but respect your opinion.
As for the rest of this movies on this list I have seen I agree they're shit.
I really enjoyed it as well it's my third favourite spider man movie
My top 10 Worst movies of 2014:
1 Amazing spider-man 2
2 Transformers: Age of Extinction
3 I, Frankenstein
4 the Legend of Hercules
5 the Other Woman
6 Ouija
7 Sabotage
8 Robocop
9 Expendables 3
10 Maleficent
Note: I have not seen: left behind, blended, ride along, transcendence, tmnt, annie, anaabelle.
5. Neighbors
4. The Legend of Hercules
3. Legends of Oz: Dorothy's Return
2. Devil's Due
1. Vampire Academy
The worst 3 movies I saw this year were....
. The giver: out of all the young adult novel adaptation movies (save for twilight) this was the blandest
. Under The Skin: It has great ideas but you have to read a LOT deeper than you should
. This one is gonna be very controversial but interstellar: act 1: fine, act 3: good, act 2: ugh way too much exposition and just seems to drag on
If 2 of these acts were positive and only one was dragging, how does that make it top 3 worse movies?
myfilms999 Granted these movies aren't in any kind of order, the first and third acts were positive in a sense that a 5 and a 6 is technically positive. The second act really just filled me with apathy and you could make the argument that apathy is worse than rage nevertheless disliking for the 2nd act outweighs my liking for the 1st and 3rd
NakoTheNacho Alright that's fine... your opinion, I personally loved it.
myfilms999 to each their own
10. Let's Be Cops
9. Oculus
8. The Purge: Anarchy
7. Life After Beth
6. Transformers: Age of Extinction
5. Draft Day
4. Enemy
3. Tusk
2. Ida
1. Willow Creek
Have only seen about 70 movies from last year, the only two i would say i didn't like were Willow Creek & Ida, the rest on the list were okay.
By what you said at the beginning of the video, this should have been named the top ten Most Disappointing Movies of 2014.
Great Video man, Always make me Laugh with your Reviews. Keep it Up!
Why isn't Dumb & Dumber To on anyone's worst of the year list. I don't get it.
Yeah. And people are being shockingly fair with their reviews of this movie. The only people who had the balls to call this movie bad were the people from What The Flick.
People are blinded by nostalgia. I swear.
I like it! I LIKE IT A LOT
Dude you gave the amazing spiderman 2 a c+. We all frozen now your lie in. You just watch a bad review on it and just guest you should have on the list because of the reviews.
Sorry for the typeo
Trent Walker You should go and listen to what I actually say during the review and not focus too much on just a letter grade.
Sorry,I just got a bet confused because you gave a C+ and said it was fair. Sorry if I made you up sit.
theFLICKpick
I especially like your story with TASM 2. It's hilarious. It's also sad because I wanted to see a good Spider-Man movie. But after watching the first 2 scenes, I lost interest and just wanted to see how it ends. But boy, was it long to get there!
Naruto Storm Marc Webb wasn't the problem. Sony was the problem.
Why is the amazing Spider-Man 2 on here?
And transformers 4
Lol
Because it’s a garbage movie
So that means you lied about the ASM2 by giving it C. Well the ASM2 was not the worst it was disappointing.
Jake Bat still doesnt make the ASM2 the worst movie of 2014.
Ralf 24 it wasn't he had 8 other movies after it???
+Ralf 24 good point
Stephanie Fahey but still not the worst more dissapointing
Agree 100%. I think movies having amazing mind blowing trailers hurt them. You set your expectations high going into the movie, then come out like ugh it wasn't that great.
need for speed was worst than all of these
take a shot every time john says cringe worthy
You say you hated the Amazing Spider-man 2, but in your review you gave it a C+ which is pretty much average. How come you gave it a C+ if you hated it? I don't get it?
IMO Expendables 3 has been the only bad one so far. The other 2 were actually good.
i cant understand why you hate ASM 2
i realy liked it
Because Sony only made it just to kickstart a Spidey shared universe.
Dumb and dumber 2 was one of the worst movies of 2014, so so disappointing.
Crappy Spider-Man 2 should have been number 1. I fucking hate that movie!!!
"...just play Monopoly with the lights off." How do you do that, man? XD
I still don't get why people hate Spider Man 2. I definitely get it's not a masterpiece, but it's really not as bad as some people say. The Transformers sequels on the other hand are definitely not good.
Spider-man 2 is a masterpiece. I think your talking about the amazing spider-man 2 maybe?
Yes I am, in reference to John's comments.
The amazing spider man 2 is even worser than spiderman 3.
Spider man 3 was better than the amazing bullcrap 2.
I'd take the first and third transformers movies over amazing Spider-Man 2 to be entirely honest. Actually both of the amazing Spider-Man movies.
It was one giant trailer for sinister six, with a main villain that is tossed aside the last 30 minutes of the movie in favor of another guy who only existed to kill the protagonist's love interest, corny Batman and Robin esque writing, awful pacing especially in the end after gwen died, shoehorned evil corporation that is evil for the sake of being evil, forced relationship (which was totally unnecessary)
There was so much wrong with this movie.
Freal Clips worser isn't a word, so I find your point invalid.
That "Fuck My Life" was the best line I've heard all week.
My Top 10:
10. Sex Tape
9. Saving Christmas
8. Ouija
7. Blended
6. Vampire Academy
5. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles
4. Transformers: Age of Extinction
3. I, Frankenstein
2. The Legend of Hercules
1. Left Behind
And now his best friend's opinion:
10. Blended
9. Drive Hard
8. Winter's Tale
7. Ouija
6. Vampire Academy
5. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles
4. I, Frankenstein
3. The Legend of Hercules
2. Transformers: Age of Extinction
I was laughing my ass off when you said 15 dollar movie in my bathroom about a guy taking a shit. Do it, DO IT!!!
TASM 2 was good, it had a lot of flaws, but its not that bad enough to be in a top 10 worst movies list
I thought it was really bad, electro was the worst piece of shit ever "Oh? He forgot my name for a second? ARGH, I will now destroy and terrorise this city! Worst character development ever, and I actually like Fox... but oh god such a bland and shitty movie.
Adam Bergstrom in your opinion
the winterassassin999 And Johns
Adam Bergstrom yeh, but spider man 3 was a lot worse
the winterassassin999 I liked some parts of that movie but not emo Spiderman or the character Venom... boy did they fuck up him
John, what the fuck? You think Transformers 4 is worse than TASM2, but you still bought Transformers 4 on Blu-Ray. Makes no sense
Dishonorable mentions: Son Of God, Lucy, No Good Deed
Top 10 worst movies of 2014:
1. Ride Along
2. Legends Of Oz: Dorothy’s Return
3. God’s Not Dead
4. Tammy
5. The Pyramid
6. Let’s Be Cops
7. If I Stay
8. Blended
9. Into The Storm
10. The Rover
Amazing Spider Man had great acting especially by Andrew Garfield. But the rest of the film is just a mess.
5:13 😂
I fell asleep twice watching Annabelle XD
Although I think The Legend of Hercules is the worst movie of 2014, Ouija was a very close second.
Nic called he's asking when production starts
my 10 Worst Movies of 2014 are
1-I, Frankenstein
2-Under the Skin
3-The Legend Of Hercules
4-Exodus: Gods & Kings
5-Transcendence
6-Pompeii
7-The November Man
8-Dying Of The Light
9-Enemy(Nightcrawler i thought was far better)
10-The Pyramid
The Pyramid is the only film on this list that I saw, and it was indeed awful.
Thank you for putting Pompeii on the list! :) No famous youtube movie reviewer added that to the list.
***** Chris put it on his Dishonourable mentions list.
exodus was great the fuck
Enemy is a piece of art, just because you don't understand it doesn't mean it's a bad film
Please don't use ''I wanted this movie to be good" as an excuse to say bad things about these movies, just say you hate them and it's just fine
This could have been an awesome movie if it was shot normally, had good actors, didn't have the actors stand feet away from a tornado and stand there as if they are having a quiet picnic, a main character that blames a footage hungry guy for the death of the film crew then back flips
And says oh you will be you wink wink, then have that character turn the movie into the biggest joke ever as he flies up above the tornado in the mini tornado proof car and floats above it like a bird before falling down to his death. Wtf...
The best thing was the SFX, amazingly good, imagine if they just made the rest of the movie as good.
John I believe you are going to hit 100,000 subs by next week. YOU BETTER DO SOMETHING SPECIAL! Or just make a small video, ya know. Early congratulations :)
Finally someone who doesn't completely bash Michael Bay. They do need to give him a real script
Hey, John have you seen Taken 3 yet, and if so can we get a review?
Haven't seen a lot of bad movies last year, but my "Top" 3 are:
- Noah.
Good Job!
Just replacing an iconic white character with a black character doesn't make for a great movie.
My Top 10 Worst of 2014.
1.Transformers: Age of Extinction 2014.
2.Left Behind 2014.
3.Outcast 2014.
4.Lucy 2014.
5.Transcendence 2014.
6.Ouija 2014.
7.Annabelle 2014.
8.Jessabelle 2014.
9.Sex Tape 2014.
10.The Giver 2014.
completely agree about melissa mccarthy. it's like every one of her characters is trying to be like megan from bridesmaids. similar to how i feel about zach galifianakis, but i actually like him in some roles.
Top 3 2014 worst movies 3.Amazing spiderman 2
2.Transformers
1.Ninja Turtles
I hated TMNT because of the corny and cliche dialog and because of the terrible CGI
I know it's not from 2014 but 50 shades of vomit takes it for all eternity
Expendables movies would be better if they focused on quality over quantity when it came to the cast.
"He's the best worst thing that's happened" best way to describe my feelings for John.
