1:08 The budget for Annabelle was 6 million and took in 250 million which is fucking nuts. What's ever more interesting is that the director of Annabelle only has two other movies under his belt, Butterfly Effect 2 and Mortal Kombat Annihilation. I think The Amazing Spiderman 2 should've been here. The first one was okay, and I honestly believed the sequel was going to be pretty good, better villains, more action. The movie looked great, the special effects were great, Spidey looked plain awesome, and somehow it all seemed like just paint over a turd. God, the plot was ridiculous, the action scenes were extremely dissapointing... what's the point of having 3 villains if they're all shit or practically just one-minute on the movie. I wanted it to be good, but I think it should just die already, sell the rights to Disney now, please Sony.

The Amazing Spiderman 2 had potencial to Be Good (I really liked Dane Dehaan's and Emma Stone's acting in it) but it was extremely disappointing. Now, I am truly surprised that "Maleficent" wasn't in that list. Its definetely the worst piece of crap I've seen this year.

Personally I just didn't connect to Boyhood at all. I mostly found it excruciating to sit through. No movie this year had me shifting uncontrollably in my seat more to be honest. It was the cringe worthy dialogue, the insincere tender moments and pointless melodrama that made the 3 hour experience feel really cumbersome. Most importantly I really didn't like the "boy", in boyhood as a character especially as he got older. He basically turns into a bull-shit philosophizing hippy which just led to more cringe worthy, dis-jointed scenes. I can totally appreciate the effort in filming over the course of 12 years but unfortunately cannot applaud the execution. What can I say, if you like it, I can't relate but that's cool... Dude, Tusk is amazing, but it was made with a certain, niche audience in mind, unless you have seen the podcast the movie was based on, the entire premise and ending make no sense.
Noah Anderson I do not agree about Tusk. For starters I have listened to the pod-cast that stemmed the initial project and am also a regular "Hollywood Babble On" listener. For example, I recognized the "More Margaritas" song set to Justin Long's ring tone in the film... That said, a movie should not just appeal to people who listened to Kevin Smith rant while high... I would assume he wanted it to reach a wide audience, which it does not because it's not a good movie. There's some genuinely disturbing moments and Michael Parks is great, other than that its an over-long, amateur mess. He shoots his walrus costume far too much in full lighting until it goes from being kind of scary to just silly; hell you get see the seams in the suit by the end of it. It's tonally inconsistent throughout, the dialogue is awful and it has the worst use of a cameo appearance I've ever seen... Some characters are playing it straight, some are cartoons and every scene is about 10 minutes too long... It's just dumb trash. Sorry if you like it that's fine but I just didn't feel that way. I think Kevin Smith either needs to stop smoking so much weed or quit directing films altogether.
I want Jeremy to be in a movie where he is a mob boss in a wheel chair (where his legs don't work) But the wheel chair have special tools like R2-D2 for fighting BAD guys. He'd be the most feared mob king pin in the city dealing ruthless for anyone who crosses him from his terrible wheel chair. But then at the end of the movie it's revealed in the final showdown between protagonist and antagonist that he has prosthetic legs that allow him to walk and beat the crap out of our hero. (Jermy would have to pack on at least 25 pounds of muscle to play the part) He would make such a ruthless villain. "So you think you'd just lose my shipment of 10 kilos of diamond dust and think I'll let you of Scott free? No! No! You will now be chopped up into tiny pieces"

Exodus is hardly a Christian movie, because it doesn't follow its source material. The same can be said for Noah except to a larger degree. I will concede that "Heaven Is for Real" was dog crap, and that I almost fell asleep halfway through. However, God's Not Dead was not one of the worst movies I've ever seen. I enjoyed it, and its message was well-communicated I felt. I haven't seen Saving Christmas, but yes, I heard it was awful.
I saw an early screening of Kirk Cameron's saving Christmas and it was terrible. My film friends and I just mocked it and laughed our way through it. So I agree with you there. Didn't see God's not dead but I can believe you from the quality of the cinematography I saw in the trailer. Again along the lines of what everyone else said Exodus Gods and Kings and Noah are not christian movies. If you know aronofsky you'll know that noah was actually gnosticism and kabalism. One cult spun off of Christianity and the other a cult spun off of the numerical value of letters in the jewish alphabet believing that doing math with them can find hidden meanings and messages inside the Old Testament. However I liked Noah, I heard a lot of people rag on it and I honestly don't know why so if someone could clue me in that'd be great I agreed with jeremy's blue ray rating and rotten tomatoes gives it a 77 so not sure what everyone criticizes it for. Exodus was garbage and in no way followed the actual story of exodus. As for Heaven Is For Real I can see why a lot of people didn't like it. However if you grew up going to church you'll realize that's because the director randal wallace (writer of braveheart) perfectly captured what it felt like to go to church and be a pastor. Old time churches are often boring and pastors in small towns lead simple lives a lot of the time. While the movie wasn't great I'd say it was okay, but I understand why you'd just see it as boring if you didn't grow up in church.

I came across this and was thinking "Why the hate for Hercules? I thought it was fairly entertaining. Hercules as a normal dude that is a bit of a con artist? It was a cool spin and the movie knew what it was." That's right, Mortal Kombat Annihilation is considered to be one of the most laughably awful sequels ever made, and that director brought in 250 million on a 6 million budget.

I think The Amazing Spiderman 2 should've been here. The first one was okay, and I honestly believed the sequel was going to be pretty good, better villains, more action. The movie looked great, the special effects were great, Spidey looked plain awesome, and somehow it all seemed like just paint over a turd. God, the plot was ridiculous, the action scenes were extremely dissapointing... what's the point of having 3 villains if they're all shit or practically just one-minute on the movie. I wanted it to be good, but I think it should just die already, sell the rights to Disney now, please Sony.
It wasn't amazing, but I would still watch it over these 10 movies in a heartbeat, also Jeremy gave it a good time no alcohol required so he wouldn't put it on here.

What was bad about Boyhood?
Personally I just didn't connect to Boyhood at all. I mostly found it excruciating to sit through. No movie this year had me shifting uncontrollably in my seat more to be honest. It was the cringe worthy dialogue, the insincere tender moments and pointless melodrama that made the 3 hour experience feel really cumbersome. Most importantly I really didn't like the "boy", in boyhood as a character especially as he got older. He basically turns into a bull-shit philosophizing hippy which just led to more cringe worthy, dis-jointed scenes. I can totally appreciate the effort in filming over the course of 12 years but unfortunately cannot applaud the execution. What can I say, if you like it, I can't relate but that's cool... Noah Anderson I do not agree about Tusk. For starters I have listened to the pod-cast that stemmed the initial project and am also a regular "Hollywood Babble On" listener. For example, I recognized the "More Margaritas" song set to Justin Long's ring tone in the film... That said, a movie should not just appeal to people who listened to Kevin Smith rant while high... I would assume he wanted it to reach a wide audience, which it does not because it's not a good movie. There's some genuinely disturbing moments and Michael Parks is great, other than that its an over-long, amateur mess.
He shoots his walrus costume far too much in full lighting until it goes from being kind of scary to just silly; hell you get see the seams in the suit by the end of it. It's tonally inconsistent throughout, the dialogue is awful and it has the worst use of a cameo appearance I've ever seen... Some characters are playing it straight, some are cartoons and every scene is about 10 minutes too long... It's just dumb trash. Sorry if you like it that's fine but I just didn't feel that way. I think Kevin Smith either needs to stop smoking so much weed or quit directing films altogether.
I want Jeremy to be in a movie where he is a mob boss in a wheel chair (where his legs don't work) But the wheel chair have special tools like R2-D2 for fighting BAD guys.
He'd be the most feared mob king pin in the city dealing ruthless for anyone who crosses him from his terrible wheel chair.
But then at the end of the movie it's revealed in the final showdown between protagonist and antagonist that he has prosthetic legs that allow him to walk and beat the crap out of our hero. (Jermy would have to pack on at least 25 pounds of muscle to play the part)
He would make such a ruthless villain. "So you think you'd just lose my shipment of 10 kilos of diamond dust and think I'll let you of Scott free? No! No! You will now be chopped up into tiny pieces"

I actually hated Lego Movie. I felt like it was going somewhere for about 20 min then it changes to something completely different. And the ending felt pretty rushed in my opinion. The only good thing about this movie was Will Ferrell. Also the song sucks major ass.

Exodus is hardly a Christian movie, because it doesn't follow its source material. The same can be said for Noah except to a larger degree. I will concede that "Heaven Is for Real" was dog crap, and that I almost fell asleep halfway through. However, God's Not Dead was not one of the worst movies I've ever seen. I enjoyed it, and its message was well-communicated I felt. I haven't seen Saving Christmas, but yes, I heard it was awful.
I saw an early screening of Kirk Cameron's saving Christmas and it was terrible. My film friends and I just mocked it and laughed our way through it. So I agree with you there. Didn't see God's not dead but I can believe you from the quality of the cinematography I saw in the trailer. Again along the lines of what everyone else said Exodus Gods and Kings and Noah are not christian movies. If you know aronofsky you'll know that noah was actually gnosticism and kabalism. One cult spun off of Christianity and the other a cult spun off of the numerical value of letters in the jewish alphabet believing that doing math with them can find hidden meanings and messages inside the Old Testament. However I liked Noah, I heard a lot of people rag on it and I honestly don't know why so if someone could clue me in that'd be great I agreed with jeremy's blue ray rating and rotten tomatoes gives it a 77 so not sure what everyone criticizes it for. Exodus was garbage and in no way followed the actual story of exodus. As for Heaven Is For Real I can see why a lot of people didn't like it. However if you grew up going to church you'll realize that's because the director randal wallace (writer of braveheart) perfectly captured what it felt like to go to church and be a pastor. Old time churches are often boring and pastors in small towns lead simple lives a lot of the time. While the movie wasn't great I'd say it was okay, but I understand why you'd just see it as boring if you didn't grow up in church.

That's your opinion and i respect that, but when i went to watch it, it tried to put me to sleep several times. That movie was like an exposition, with katnis showing every area destroyed!
Taking a shit is more entertaining than Mocking Jay p1.
I didn't like Mockingjay as much as the other Hunger Games movie, but I didn't think it was a BAD movie, just not as enjoyable as other movies.

Paranormal Activity's next sequel should be about how every member of the main family in the films combine and move into one giant house that is being occupied by all the ghosts from the Paranormal Activity films and the ghosts do pretty minuscule and expected shit that still somehow scares the family and ends with the family finally being killed by the ghosts and the franchise as a whole ends there.
Personally I loved Brick Mansions and Transformers Age of Extinction, but the rest of the films I agree they were terrible

Haha, I've only seen your reviews of two of these listed movies and I just knew Legend of Hercules was gonna be your #1.
I came across this and was thinking "Why the hate for Hercules? I thought it was fairly entertaining. Hercules as a normal dude that is a bit of a con artist? It was a cool spin and the movie knew what it was." Then I realized I was thinking about the Dwayne Johnson Hercules.....THEN remembered I tried watching THIS Hercules a while back and had to actually turn it off 15 minutes in it was so bad.

I hated Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. The direction was shit, the CGI was creepy, the acting was appalling and, to make things worse, my girlfriend left me about an hour after we watched this movie. FUCK THAT FILM!!
