I just didn’t indicate any elgato cons they're about the same tier I would say but this one you can find a little bit cheaper than elgato. Just a matter of preference. Thank you though! I appreciate it!
Great video, it is very valuable to share your experiences, I have been looking for a low profile boom arm for a long time, it is a great evaluation for me.
No they feel pretty solid the adapter are metal, the only thing I wish was better was the ball mount but if you position it in a good position isn’t much of a problem for me anyways.
I agree on the ecosystem side but if I can get the same quality and cheaper in a physical product with no ecosystem capabilities I’ll always go with that. That’s why I suggest the fifine boom arm for 42$ at times you can’t go wrong!
Idk I’ll say they have their pros and cons! Elgato has a problem with the magnetic covers popping off. Some elgato waves have a tension problem with heavier microphones. The I-xtech has what seems to be a weak point on the covers and the ball mount could be better! If you can find any of these boom arms for a decent price under 80 or 70 bucks that’s the one I would choose. Their both really high quality
with all of the cons indicated, it ain't a rival. Nice video. Keep it up.

Thank you! Glad you found it insightful.
Are there any 'cheap-feeling' components included? I was wondering because sometimes the included 3/4" to 5/8" adapters are plastic.

nice just finished my pc
now getting things like this
Nice what kind of pc did you make!? Ya this is a really quality boom arm to get. If you get it I’m sure you’ll be happy!
If I was to choose between ths two I would have to go with the Elgato because they always have really nice extra features
