So sorry for your loss, even years after you posted this. I can't not shed a tear when listening to this. Unfortunately we all have some way to relate to this song, but it is nice that a band can put music into that perspective.

I started tearing up before you even started playing the song
I always get goosebumps with this song. No matter what. And I usually get teary eyed, and sometimes cry. I just wasn’t aware that the mention of the song could make me so emotional, and a two second clip could bring tears.

I know it's hard for those who stay in this world to not be able to see the physical presence of those who trascended, but if there's one thing you can be sure of, is that your wife, her being of light, trascended when it was the right time for her, once she finished what she came to this world to do, she graduated from this life, so I just hope one day it will stop hurting ^^
I'm sorry about your wife, but I can relate to the hurt. I actually avoided this song for the last 8 years, because that's when my father died, when I was 16, of cancer too, and it just was too much. Figured after a third of my life I'm over it, but I'm still sobbing like a child. But this video puts it in a slightly different light, giving me a glimpse from the other side, so thank you for that.

That fan made video always makes me sob. It just brings back all the memories of MCR when they were together. When they broke up it felt like I lost family members. MCR has helped me through so much.

I'm wondering how long you've been a My Chem fan? Because I'm careening towards 50 y/o this year and only found MCR about a year ago. It's worth noting I was more than a little upset to find out they weren't even together anymore. ☆ Side note, that mysterious post MCR put out to announce the 10 year anniversary almost caused a coronary! NOT COOL Dudes! Not cool! I thought they were announcing a reunion :(

So in the interest of sharing my latest obsession with someone who might commiserate with me you should check out a band from Sweden called Ghost. Specifically their Meliora album. Actually, I have written fiction my whole life- I am working on a fiction podcast as we speak, where I read my short fiction :) I just don't have a ton of TIME right now- and that sucks. I REALLY have a ton of ideas still. I used to have a RAGING fire in my belly bout my writing! Then I became an active alcoholic for 23 years... the fire is almost out, I just have embers in my belly, but it does still burn... :)
As a fiction fan myself, all i can say is i hope to get to hear or read one of your writings one day, for i am sure they will be amazing. Could it also inspire me to get serious about my own writings. Please remember to share them whenever they might be ready. A fan here waiting! :D

I expected to see about 6 comments stating that it was a fan made video, but have surprisingly seen none. Either I missed some or your insert/description effectively silenced them. MCR will always have a very special place in my heart. I see the wound drainage and no matter how I much I hate to see you suffering, I do understand and am just glad to know this is your journey to freedom from such pain.
Be honest, *I* fully expected a ton of comments about it amazingly... :) And I do understand about the stars. I hate watching other people cry myself because I do
't know how to HELP. I want to make the pain stop so the tears stop. It's hard to stand by and watch when the tears ARE the point- there ARE no words, there IS no comfort to give- because the tears aren't asking for COMFORT. The tears are the drainage from the wound and the only thing you can do is sit back as the wound drains. And it's painful to watch because you can;t help and also, jeeze- AWKward...
