I almost never cry to music but this song gets me everytime
I started tearing up before you even started playing the song
I always get goosebumps with this song. No matter what. And I usually get teary eyed, and sometimes cry. I just wasn’t aware that the mention of the song could make me so emotional, and a two second clip could bring tears.
My heart goes out to you, and the rest of your family. Im positive that your wife is still watching you from above.

So sorry for your loss, even years after you posted this. I can't not shed a tear when listening to this. Unfortunately we all have some way to relate to this song, but it is nice that a band can put music into that perspective.

I thought the song was heart breaking enough but hearing what you said just broke my heart...I'm sorry for your loss. I enjoyed your video. It's just refreshing for me to hear an older person's sincere opinion on younger people's generation of music. For me MCR does the music and lyrics really heartfelt..

I'm wondering how long you've been a My Chem fan? Because I'm careening towards 50 y/o this year and only found MCR about a year ago. It's worth noting I was more than a little upset to find out they weren't even together anymore. ☆ Side note, that mysterious post MCR put out to announce the 10 year anniversary almost caused a coronary! NOT COOL Dudes! Not cool! I thought they were announcing a reunion :(

well thank you kindly for the response. I agree 1000% about it being easier to try new things through our ever evolving modes of communication. I'm digging it all but right now I am still the equivalent of Helen Keller learning to drive a car. For example I just opened this you tube account maybe a week ago. So in the interest of sharing my latest obsession with someone who might commiserate with me you should check out a band from Sweden called Ghost. Specifically their Meliora album. "Cirice" "He Is" Those r my favorites but I like many of the songs. I'm going to subscribe to your channel and keep a look out for those reactions specifically. Actually, I have written fiction my whole life- I am working on a fiction podcast as we speak, where I read my short fiction :) I just don't have a ton of TIME right now- and that sucks. I REALLY have a ton of ideas still. I used to have a RAGING fire in my belly bout my writing! Then I became an active alcoholic for 23 years... the fire is almost out, I just have embers in my belly, but it does still burn... :)
As a fiction fan myself, all i can say is i hope to get to hear or read one of your writings one day, for i am sure they will be amazing. Could it also inspire me to get serious about my own writings. Please remember to share them whenever they might be ready. A fan here waiting! :D

That fan made video always makes me sob. It just brings back all the memories of MCR when they were together. When they broke up it felt like I lost family members. MCR has helped me through so much.
