The shine and quality of finish on these vehicles is completely unmatched and absolutely amazing
Cheers Howard 👍👍
Glad you enjoyed it
Thank you for another great episode. As far as Monaro goes, there were HQ, HJ, HX and HZ four doors available.
Thanks for the info! appreciate it
Shiny, Old school, Legendary, Amazing
Car lovers wet dream .... amazing stuff
Cheers mate
That green Ford Truck could have been a Ridler contender if it debut there. Stunning. The US floor flag would win em over no end.
Was something special
Great videao Howy and Dale & Dale you missed the hat on the parcel shelf on the Volvo Gt 242 right after you said it 😃😃ahh well ya can't win em all.
Good call!
I thought the same thing too lol!
Thanks again for sharing your time and knowledge is appreciated.
My pleasure! It lots of fun
Great footage and presentation as usual Howard.
FYI the engine in the blue TE cortina is a single cam, not a Barra.
Thanks mate, going off memory, was a nice car
Awesome episode mate. This is what I consider to be an art gallery.
That’s a really good way to put it
Beautiful Ford, pick up green. He brought a little bit of the marine with the timber and aircraft with the bracing awesome elite vehicle.
Right on, beautiful build
Top vid filming was spot on
Thanks mate, working on it
Looked like a private car show just for us, without people everywhere was awesome. You seemed more relaxed Howard & we’re able to spend more time on showing each car.
Yes it all depends on access and time, there is around 11 hours in the filming process
That bronze wine XY 500 at 10:00 was mint as 👌🏻🔥
Sure was, Lots of nice cars there. something for everyone
Nice video. Good timing dale 👏
Yes it was,
Hi Howard. Great show again. The xa gt is Rothmans blue, nice rare colour next to the calypso green gt
Cool, thanks thought it might have been
That was just elite that’s all I can say and that combo FJ with the trailer. He’s missing the NRMA badge
smiley face
Howard the two door will always be a coupe to me as well 👍👍
I’m so looking forward to going to motor ex
Cheers mate
Thanks again Howard
My pleasure
The car in Vanishing Point was a Dodge Challenger.
Thanks Glen
Awesome footage Howard thankyou..
Some beautiful machines, great variety by the look of it too 👌.
In the beginning you were talking about the 4dr Monaro H series Hq,Hj,Hx and Hz. You could have either a 2dr or a 4dr in either mate..
The one in particular you showed my Hz I'm building is that exact colour from factory (Alantis Blue) it's called beautiful colour actually..
Ford had a similar colour to that as well..
Looked to be all very great quality cars chosen for the show..
Thanks for the great content mate 👍 👏 👌
Thanks Scott was a really good event
Awesome footage howard ya legend
Cheers Mate
My uncle had a red pepper, four-door, xa black, trim power options. His girlfriend took it off him when I stood up. I was devastated going in early 90s he had it in Sydney I still can’t get over it
Old scares
That red pepper XA UTE is delicious
It certainly was
We will pretend we didn't see that on the blue VK's hood scoop
That Pink Capri has been in that state since the late 80s. Ran Super Gas in the 90s
I think that's the organisers car
You would call that a classic then
The pin stripe is a factory option, as if you watch the bandit movie, the Trans Am in that movie had the same stripes.
I think it was the top model that got the stripe kit.
Man they were everywhere
@Astill Design yes, my 2nd cousin had one who brought one with an accident compensation claim after he was driven into a cliff face in Wales by an Artic!
Howard im in my mid 50s, coupe verse hardtop, apparently the touring cars couldn't be called coupe as it interfered with racing restrictions buy Ford and gm.
So the Australian Ford gmh badged them as hardtop for for and 2 door sedan for gmh. As they then were classed as a 2 door variant sedan, not a 2 door sports car
There you go, compliance says sedan
Vanishing point was a challenger
Thanks for that, I need to watch it again
🍺👏👍🏻
Thanks Tim
Wow 51:31
Yes stunning
Going ford is the going thing
Have you driven a Ford lately
What’s with the Ignorance of the Black ED Falcon .
Not sure what you mean. Please explain
Speaking of your old man, didn’t he restore a light blue Chevy that the earth had nearly reclaimed? I’ve been through all my old Restored Cars mags and I can’t find it, but I would swear to the Pope that I read about it in the late 90s or early 2000s.
He did a few cars, there was a 4 door chev convertible that my sister still has. Was almost an aqua colour. Converted to convertible by Holden in Australia.
@@AstillDesign That could very well be it. The one I'm thinking of was hard to even recognise as a car in the 'before' picture that was part of the article.
Xe a big car lol, a foot longer than a Mazda 6 and roughly the same other dimensions. It's amazing what we were conditioned to believe what is a large or small car.
All in the eyes of the beholder
Great quality footage but unmodified very late model (no matter how clean) cars just don't mix with much older restored/modified and rarer cars IMO.
I love to see anything that someone has clearly poured there heart and sole into
@@AstillDesign Me too not something just bought straight from a dealer in the last 5 or so years.
That’s a ba gt
Thanks for that.
