@@woodman8261 yes although my experience in loading the 45-70 is limited so far I noticed H4198 has complete ignition or powder burn in the rounds I have loaded so far, meaning I bought 1 box of Federal Premium 300 gr Hammerdown factory ammunition and immediately noticed after firing some of the ammo when cleaning the rifle there were kernels of unburnt powder in the action, finding the H4198 and IMR 4198 powders have been hard to find in my area Sportsman’s WH only had 1lb H4198 and my local ffl only had 1lb IMR 4198 other stores had neither and even online like Midsouth SS were even out of stock of both
