Thanks for the upload. Most TH-camrs aren’t straight forward or honest about these kinds of things. You really bought TQQQ at a bad time. I’ve been buying 100 shares every time it drops by about $5 since it was $40. I’m hoping that when the market recovers within the next couple years that position could be worth something.
@@fino9568 if it reverse splits my position still remains the same value. Only potential concern for me is a complete unbalancing of the ETF which would result in a huge loss. As long as the market holds relatively steady and we see a market turn within the next year, my position should be okay.
@@BrettR39 be careful of the triple losses as well, these etfs are really terrible to hold long term. For example, if you enter QQQ and it drops by %10, it needs to go up 11% from the new low to be breakeven. If you enter at the same time with TQQQ it will fall 30% (because 3x), and as a result QQQ needs to now rise 14% for you to breakeven. So if it did rise back up 14% you would be up 2.6% on QQQ, and breakeven on your TQQQ hope that makes sense and invest well

The warren buffet rule gets really complicated from that point. The idea can also be looked at from the opposite direction, a large gain ends up being hard to lose. If you bought TQQQ at the bottom of covid, you would still have a 200% gain. Anyways, the market has never not recovered based off of a down-turn, so I’m not worried.
be careful that this triple levereged ETF is not for buy and hold strategy, its only meant to triple the DAILY return, so supposed to be used as a trading tool over a day or a few days max, long term it wont necessarily make you back your money, look up the disclosure on the ETF website, or watch a youtube video that explains this further, its called decay

good video. but the key thing is how you invest going forward, or more importantly the funds you have evailabel to cover further market declines. a 500k portfolio with $2m sitting on the sidelines is no big deal. but if youre 500k in with only 100k to put in.. then if market dip another 30%- which could happen on tech.. you can't average down appropriately. basic formula is that if you think markets go down 10% keep 20%, go dwon 20% keep 30% IE you keep +10% more than the decline you think is possible, in cash., so for example google is around $95. it could go as low as $50 in a worst case.. seems nuts.. but could. thats basically a 50% decline.. so you should be keeping 60% in cash.. ie up to 40% invested.
8:40 oh god he actually fell for the 1.5% fee scam many platforms have when you use the "Buy Crypto" button instead of paying like 0.1-0.2% when you go into the chart and manually place an order. He is still up a lot on that buy but that still hurts to see.

I suggest you learn about QT and QE.. i mean would’ve helped a year ago but better late than never.. there has been zero market bottoms in the history of QT.. so what does that mean? It means the market is going to continue to dump until the fed has beaten inflation and finally pivot to qe and that won’t be for a while. So I’d sell everything, buy inverse indices then sell those when the fed finally pivots then reinvest the profits back into the market at the real bottom.. might be a couple years though.
The bull is yet to arrive. If you align and manage your money properly at this point in time, chances are you will see outstanding returns in the next bull run whether it’s stocks or crypto.
