That guy with M9 Emerald did in fact stage it, and did not know it would blow up. Some other legit traders showed me what happened, and it was a breeze of fresh air in terms of someone allegedly doing something nice for once. Only for him to turn out to be another filthy exit scammer. Just sad, and as you said, if you have any reach on Twitter you can literally barely comment on anything without it potentially having a harmful effect. Its crazy and sad.
ironic considering the video we're watching, but zipel you buying knives still? got an m9 i've had for a while and just wanna get rid of it, thanks.
What is an exit scam exactly?
Build up rep over a period of time, and then leg it with a bunch of stuff you haven't paid for.

The Kirito vs Noble story has a greek mythology vibe. Two guys who hated each other so much they destroyed themselves :P
Just to clarify, sharking and scamming are two different things. Sharking is basically when you trick someone into believing an item is cheaper than it is. Scamming is when you offer some kind of service or product in return and never pull through on it.
Sharking shouldn't be considered unethical . Here in Asia we call it "burgaining" .
@@rahatzaman8120 WTF?are you for real?
@@Ickie71 yeah .. for real .
@@rahatzaman8120 Did you mean Bargaining?I think that's how you spell it :) Ive never heard of that word"Burgaining"?Maybe it's an asian thing that us Brits don't get :)
@@Ickie71 well yeah I meant bargaining . In first world everyone now probably practice the "fixed price business model" .
In bargaining cultures like ours it's the seller's duty to know the actual price of his items . If we can buy cheaper .. that's considered a win for the buyer/consumer .
5:19 this gives me headache just looking at it

@@TDMHeyzeus i had to pause and study it like a fucking calculus textbook and i still don’t think i fully understood
That writing and editing was so good, it almost made kirito and noble fighting seem like some movie! almost... no amount of skill can make 2 adults being that immature and destroying each other look cool XD
"According to the doctors the cause of death was ratio." Heyzeus's game was so cold... and accurate xD
Valve could still do a whole lot more to make trading safer, like actually responding to scams, returning skins instead of just banning inventories, having sticker wears present in trade offers etc. They could also have an actual rep system integrated into steam profiles, like any other "sales" platform on the internet. But off course, at that point you're acknowledging that skins are a business and not confined to the walled garden that is the SCM - and that would entail gaben having to actually take responsibility for trading.
They can't just give away skins, because people are filthy and they will try to scam valve itself, like they did with the duplicating "exploit". The problem is that the market is poorly regulated, if they locked the skins from trading (marketable, not tradeable) many problems simply wouldn't exist, scam sites, gambling, scammers, etc
The worst thing for cs would be if valve would interfere in the skin trading market aside from putting up trade locks and other things, I can't even imagine if the game was like valorant, you can only buy the set 4 skins the game shows in your store and the worst thing is not being able to trade them, people have to literally sell their accounts cuz they can't get those 2k-3k back that they spent
@@LunardH that's not at all what I'm describing though. That's locking down. What I'm suggesting are trivial features supposed to make things more transparent, make you less likely to get scammed. I'm saying they won't implement these things because that would be like admitting that skin trading is so much more than SCM. Admitting that means admitting you're nurturing a huge unregulated, borderline legal market.
@@vaggelisdogas I'm not saying giving away. I'm saying returning. Steam have trade records and they actually have a screening protocol in place for banning scanners. So they already regulate against exploitation here. They just don't return the stolen goods. And that would be fine if you're always in control of your trade offers but most scams involve phising and bots taking over your profile. In this case, you can't (usually) legally be submitted blame. And this is an area where returning the skins to its rightful owner (assuming they're banned in place before reselling) would be a nice addition.
But it all involves more effort which valve doesn't have to expend off course. Nut would be nice.
Hi, last 5 months are more scammers getting banned if any proof is there - some bans are permanent ( by steam support) or via system - 14 days trade ban, steam support can not and in future also not will give back any scammed items - many problems in past with any many potencional problems now too, they only more thing what Valve can do is delete them
When you said “the cause of death was ratio” I got so caught off guard😂

The more I learn about the skins community in CSGO the more I thank myself for never delving into it
This is exactly why I never do the "he owes me money and I owe you money so hell pay you" nonsense. Your debt to me has nothing to do with another mans debt to you or whatever. Transaction fees are negligible and having the proper people sending the proper transactions is how you avoid a situation like that ever happening.
"according to doctors, the cause of death was ratio" XD
What a well written out and edited video, I love these styles of videos
well, anomally pays 80 - 85% buff price and no one talks about it, why? 'cause he is a famous youtuber? well, the community has a lot little things to improve
Really lol?
With the same logic you could say that the guy that now owns that blue gem fn karambit scammed the seller because he paid 100k and now costs more than 1.5m
Its great that you’re making these videos informing all of us❤️❤️❤️
yeah i knew before watching that there was a very complicated situation involving noblesix & Kirito, but i did not know that it stemmed from smthg as petty years of hatred for each other.
I had a guy once try to tell me that 60% steam for my knife was the usual pricing for every trader
wait, so he bought a knife in the past for around 2500 dollars, then he waited until it costs more and he sold it at profit, sounds like the stock market to me
Its called Real-Life. :)
Csgo market has some similarities with stock market . But it's riskier because valve controls a lot of decisions here .
Bought an M4 global offensive with 6.30 last year because it seemed like a good investment . But valve suddenly buffed the other M4 now my rifle is down to 2.70 dollars . And the price won't rise atleast for the next 5 or 6 years I guess . That is the risk .. just one update from the game and your investment can get screwed .
@@rahatzaman8120 yeah i understand that, but damn that sucks
I still don't understand how people go into this business. If you have enough money for this, bonds are way safer and it'll most likely earn you more money, without a single problem or drama.
Paying/selling for + 20% buff balance reminds me of the Bitcoin kimchi premium
One of the main reasons why I just quit cs in general.
Gameplay is aging poorly and Valve only cares about skins.
Imho, skins were a mistake, at least making them tradable. Whole skin economy just went to shit over last few years.
lol mistake for who exactly?
@@KronStaro the game, game would still be the same even without them.
I am very late but the end of the video is super important. This is how trading is now, all these accounts with 100+ high tier and low tier knives continuously lowball and try getting you to overpay, especially for new traders. They reel them in with a huge inventory, then give them shit prices and rates, I’ve had better trades with people that have one knife than people with hundreds. Reputation is abused in the CSGO trading community
ohne does not deserve this he is a good guy

Maybe scammers aren’t as prevalent anymore…. I have 2 black pearls (M9 bayo and butterfly) and no one has tried to scam me for them…. I’m kinda disappointed I wanted to mess with them and make them delete their scam accounts

Hey heyzeus, I’m the guy that called out the person for buying 81-92%. The skins he were buying were liquids. His justification was that he only buys from gamblers so for them it’s profit either way, so why does it matter.
How does he get such a spread if he's just buying liquids? That's what I thought was strange about his numbers (not that I think his justification is a good one).
Anyway I deliberately cropped most of the identifying details because I didn't want to directly draw any attention to the actual people involved, I just wanted an illustrative example and your tweet presented itself for me.
@@TDMHeyzeus I actually have no clue, but he sent me his profile and he did have a bunch of liquid item on th, but it was all low tier stuff. So I don’t know.
Its great that you’re making these videos informing all of us.
I've wanted to get into skins for a long time, but I'm just too scared, and the state of the community doesn't help
Don’t do it, especially if you actually need the money. A CSGO skin value is based on speculation, and values few people are willing to pay, which also puts liquidity into the mix. Play the game, buy some nice skins and have fun
Had a guy adding me and offered me a trade that at best would loose me 700$, i called him out and offered him a counter offer that was a 100$ gain from me.
My guy went nuclear claiming a scam offer. Sent a gyazo of his offer and blocked him
We see part 3's analogy in the real world. The media identifies somebody they don't like, digs through socials, and finds them shaking hands with $RANDOM_SUPER_BAD_GUY. So they run with the story of "they're besties" to vilify the person, purposefully ignoring the fact that $RANDOM_SUPER_BAD_GUY simply walked up and asked for a selfie. It's unreasonable to expect people (like Zipel/ohne) to do a full background check for a shoutout, and it doesn't prove what the person will do afterwards. We all need to be smarter about how the world works.
Can’t wait for GameStop to end all of this.
Buy Hold DRS, brother :)
Bought buff balance from noble 3 times a weeks ago, absolutely legit and nice guy.

Imagine using a skin worth annual salaries and not top fragging
"According to doctors the cause of death was ratio" 😂😂
Getting scammed on CSGO for skins is probably teaching invaluable lessons to thousands of people across the world... some people are trash and will curse their mother into eternal hell just to make a couple hundred bucks.. so be cautious and weary.
I know this from experience. Got scammed yesterday :(
That's why I only invested in cases, stickers and capsules.
I don't care about others. Do my own thing, hold items based on my strategy and enjoy my scam/toxic-free life!
I LOVE THE RRUNESCAPE BACKROUNG MUSIC
Isn’t that is what businessmen do? Buy stuff cheaply and sell them more expensive
also for the Ohne one, were people getting mad at him for the other guy not knowing what he was selling even if it was worth 20k then (which you said it wasn't I think) if someone came to you wanting to sell a knife not knowing it was an expensive pattern and offered it for something like 1k when it was really worth 20k, would you tell him "actually thats a 20 thousand dollar knife, I'll pay you 20k instead of the 1k you want"? No you wouldn't you'd snipe that knife for a huge profit, granted it's different for a big community member like Ohne but still, hes there to make money at the end of the day

I have also been overcharged by miyazi with buff balance lmao but at the time I was happy to do it. Nobody else reputable had balance at the time, those who did had high minimums and miyazi was willing to sell me like 200 usd worth of buff balance and even with his fees I saved money on the knife.

Selfishly, yes. This is the same arguments billion dollar businesses use against regulation, lol. Hurts the consumer, but gives rise to millionaires, scammers and healthy family businesses at the cost of unhealthy practices.
A completely deregulated market is clearly disastrous. Hence why its only used in times of desperation, CSGO trading is past this initial step. Self regulation clearly isnt very comprehensive.

This stories are more complicated than all of my accounts lol xd
I bought an ak redline FT with 4 ibuypower holos back in late 2014 off of steam market for cheapest available market price cuz back then the sticker itself was selling on steam market for like 3 euro and that was already after the capsules were discontinued, when you could still buy the capsules the stickers were literally worth cents.
Then 3 years later i sold it for about 2k in skins, crazy thing is rn it would probably be worth double that if not more, did i get scammed too or what???
Garbage nonsensical debate tbh, value of items is constantly changing, what is the price now doesnt mean shit when transaction happened years ago.
