Basically, the theory says that everything that is in Payday 2 is canon to that universe (obviously), but by extension, everything that contains for example John Wick (he's in Payday 2) is also automatically canon to Payday. This "canon by association" theory extends infinitely covering absolutely every piece of media.

Back in csgo lounge days there were multiple match fixes going on in the lowest tier of play that still got featured on lounge. I remember some low tier CIS matches being thrown that were 91 to 9% in favour of the other team and my GOD the way some of those teams threw made ibuypowers throw match look like professional players. And most of these cases never got featured in any major way. I actually won some skins on a few of these because I basically chucked some leftovers for the underdog teams every now and then, it was glorious. But people who were in the know about these absolutely printed money back in the days

the payday 2 thing would go deeper than that, john wick is in payday 2, as well as h3h3, left4dead, scarface, and others. you could probably go on forever because left4dead is mixed with tf2, and tf2 has pretty much had a crossover with every game under the sun at this point.

20:00 the bug - at least to my knowledge - was fixed shortly after the Tournament where chiken joined a NiP Lobby. We (people at 99Damage, german CSGO site) were able to replicate the phenomenon of joining foreign lobbies, whether they were public or private, though we don't know if the raids were done the same way. It was used by doing an auto-join to a lobby via the game start options. You needed the Lobby ID which you could read off of Friends List, via Steam ID or I think if the person streamed and showed the console while in Lobby. Ironically, I once had a lobby raid by chiken (I'm a quite random guy for that). When I asked some of the ppl I worked with about that if they were trolling me, they all denied. So maybe there's some other method or just another random guy wanted to have fun and did the work to get my Lobby ID. After a short while the join lobby-command was discarded or it was checked if the account was allowed to join the lobby (i.e. friends check with the lobby members), I can't remember. Quick search should give the answer. But yes, they fixed the issue.
Valve is doing just enough to keep people coming back. They would never prioritize growth when players just swallow up the sh*tty skins they decide to push into the game and the money still comes in fast pace. Why would they pull out the big guns, when old tricks still work and will work?

I am not sure about how the valve's server works , but its technically possible to delete skins from a server through RCE there can be counter measures to prevent that but it can be done and that is what RCE is, meaning if you know the back-end of the server you can execute any code that can perform any thing on the server side

In reference to the cloud9 adderall thing, while I don’t condone people using basically a light ped in a competitive setting, adderall is not the magical drug people think it is. While it helps people with attention deficiency ascertain a more normal level of focus, it can cause people without adhd to develop acute hyper focus for a short amount of time. For example, I once scrolled through instagram on my phone for almost 2 hours straight because I was so focused off of an adderall xr. So my personal opinion is that it really doesn’t offer that much of an advantage, because it either gives people with attention deficiency a normal level of focus or gives people without attention deficiency either no significant effects or hyper focus that would be a detriment to gaming
About the goatsim one, Payday 2s map wasn't just "based off the csgo one" it was mutual, they were both based off each other. You can find 4 of the PD2 heisters masks around the csgo map, PD2 is canon in CSGO, and goat Sim is canon in pd2

Just putting this out here as a long time player of payday 2, it has wayy more games and stuff/refrences in its canon than just cs and goat sim. It even has h3h3 podcast in it (dont think anybody liked this though...)
C9 was 1000% on Adderall on those comms that match. It's not a drug that magically makes you better at video games, it's a bit like micro-dosing LSD to get that competitive edge. If you take 60mg of extended release salts you're not going to perform well in a match of CS you're just going to be hyperactive the whole time. If I had to guess I'd say their coach or a "friend" happened to bring it up and let them try it and they liked the effects and essentially over-dosed for gaining an edge in CS.

Okay, the whole "phone plugged in" thing is either a big issue, or a complete NON-Issue. There are many phone charging cables that have NO data transfer capabilities whatsoever, as in if you plug your phone into your computer, the cable literally can NOT transfer any data between the two. If he has one of those cables, and everyone knows the difference, there is no issue. Complete speculation, though.

@@reptarien a little late here but the general problem with the "pros may be cheating" situation imo is that people ALWAYS give them the benefit of the doubt like you just did and come up with an excuse for any sort of suspicious activity found. And generally, you'd probably be right tbh, it's probably just an innocent mistake most of the time, the issue comes in tho that if you take that approach always, then you'll end up never catching someone when they do cheat, that's you gotta be diligent and careful when running tourneys, even if it's unlikely you'll catch anything. I'm not some "all pros cheating" conspiracy theorist or anything but i will say that people making excuses for big names has literally blocked my own legitimately obtained evidence of someone cheating from being reviewed by anyone with any authority to do something about it. I have literal evidence in game and out of game proof Xantares is cheating, not joking, and in pro matches too, i have specific demos downloaded where it's pretty obvious. I tried showing this evidence to anybody with power in the community and got massively downvoted and discredited everytime. Streamers, reddit, Tournament organizers i sent it too, didn't matter, they always defended him and made excuses for him, dude was literally too big of a name for anyone to even give the evidence a second thought so point is, making excuses for them is how they get away with it if it is happening, no matter how unlikely.

While it helps people with attention deficiency ascertain a more normal level of focus, it can cause people without adhd to develop acute hyper focus for a short amount of time. For example, I once scrolled through instagram on my phone for almost 2 hours straight because I was so focused off of an adderall xr. So my personal opinion is that it really doesn’t offer that much of an advantage, because it either gives people with attention deficiency a normal level of focus or gives people without attention deficiency either no significant effects or hyper focus that would be a detriment to gaming
About the goatsim one, Payday 2s map wasn't just "based off the csgo one" it was mutual, they were both based off each other. You can find 4 of the PD2 heisters masks around the csgo map, PD2 is canon in CSGO, and goat Sim is canon in pd2
About overwatch - in early 2016 my smurf got overwatch banned, even though I never ever cheated in my life, I just used insanely high DPI in a few matches and hit some nasty shots with A LOT of luck involved... but I'm not a pro player, so obviously my messages to steam support have been ignored :) sad story

Just putting this out here as a long time player of payday 2, it has wayy more games and stuff/refrences in its canon than just cs and goat sim. It even has h3h3 podcast in it (dont think anybody liked this though...)

C9 was 1000% on Adderall on those comms that match. It's not a drug that magically makes you better at video games, it's a bit like micro-dosing LSD to get that competitive edge. If you take 60mg of extended release salts you're not going to perform well in a match of CS you're just going to be hyperactive the whole time. If I had to guess I'd say their coach or a "friend" happened to bring it up and let them try it and they liked the effects and essentially over-dosed for gaining an edge in CS.

In the csgo map editor, if you go through models for bank you can find masks from payday 2 with the file name "crossover" so maybe it was a collaboration

It's likely that the admins have deisabled the majority of the usb ports in the BIOS so there can't be any data connection, just power to charge the phone.

Okay, the whole "phone plugged in" thing is either a big issue, or a complete NON-Issue. There are many phone charging cables that have NO data transfer capabilities whatsoever, as in if you plug your phone into your computer, the cable literally can NOT transfer any data between the two. If he has one of those cables, and everyone knows the difference, there is no issue.

@@reptarien a little late here but the general problem with the "pros may be cheating" situation imo is that people ALWAYS give them the benefit of the doubt like you just did and come up with an excuse for any sort of suspicious activity found. And generally, you'd probably be right tbh, it's probably just an innocent mistake most of the time, the issue comes in tho that if you take that approach always, then you'll end up never catching someone when they do cheat, that's you gotta be diligent and careful when running tourneys, even if it's unlikely you'll catch anything.
I'm not some "all pros cheating" conspiracy theorist or anything but i will say that people making excuses for big names has literally blocked my own legitimately obtained evidence of someone cheating from being reviewed by anyone with any authority to do something about it. I have literal evidence in game and out of game proof Xantares is cheating, not joking, and in pro matches too, i have specific demos downloaded where it's pretty obvious. I tried showing this evidence to anybody with power in the community and got massively downvoted and discredited everytime. Streamers, reddit, Tournament organizers i sent it too, didn't matter, they always defended him and made excuses for him, dude was literally too big of a name for anyone to even give the evidence a second thought so point is, making excuses for them is how they get away with it if it is happening, no matter how unlikely.
