Agree, it's nice to see some old folk returning to dominion 6, and we even see some newer one entering the fray!
But I wish some TH-camer would make some nation overview explaining the lore, unit, commamder, and pretender design. I'm sure someone who's smart and knowledgeable about the game could make it and generate some views 🌚
Ermor MA is my favorite, just hordes and hordes of never ending undead. So easy to spam swarms and have some blessed troops/mages to support!

This game is amazing. just bought the big ol manual. i'm excited to read through it. I think the simplistic look of the game is what keeps me coming back, it just feels more approachable

I love dom6, even if it gets very micro-managey in mid and late game. I wish there was something blending the setting with a more paradox style grand strategy/4X

Covering one of my favourite games I never played! Super cool. Hey, if you need ideas on what to cover, Heart Of The Machine is about to release in EA in a few weeks and there are Zero TH-camrs covering it, so you have the whole topic to yourself if you so choose.
I bought this game on release day and still have no idea what im doing when I play it.
Just watch tutorials and videos like this for factions you like and you'll get sucked right in and also develop a sense for the game!

I have Dom 4 and I've never played it. It looks daunting.
yeah they are pretty hard to get into, ive only played on small maps
There are lots of difficulty levels from pretty easy to god help you, and adding AI diplomacy in 6 helps a ton against AI to make it far more manageable since you don't need to worry about war in all directions. And 5 and 6 improved the UI a lot, which did make it a lot easier to get into. But it's still insanely complex, but thankfully you don't need to know it all to beat up an AI on some lower diff xD, some nations also make the game much easier to play since they are straightforward in their tactics (sacred cavs/giant nations) and don't require much magic to work, which is how I enjoy it.
Yeah. It's to less of an empire builder for me. It's good at one thing and one thing only. War.
I like elysium, homm, aow3 better. Sadly. It DOM looks like fun but i know it wouldn't keep me engaged.
Dominions is best to play multiplayer with 24 hour turns.
Singleplayer is just too tiring to play, with way too much information to process in one go when you do dozens of turns in one sitting. The AI also summons/recruits random nonsense and just throws at you wave after wave of it.
Dominions is a great game but unfortunately they have been selling the same game at full price since Dominions 3 so yeah, better skip this or wait for great discount.
If this is your first Dominions game and you love magic/empire building but also hero/god building, you are gonna have so much fun. Ignore the meh graphics, the gameplay loop will suck you in. The price is worth it. Ever wanted to be an evil necromancer that takes over the world with endless hordes of undead...this game has it. Ever wanted to build a golem that crushes armies, this game has it. Ever wanted to be a naked goatgod with a massive dong and have an army of simp girls that charge at the enemy to protect you, this game has it (NOT A JOKE). Ever cast the wrong spell and covered the world in darkness and all your armies died because they suck fighting in the dark, this game has it...
