Did you just put that Chimney T in wrong? Is it for a “ Clean-Out”? I think it is meant for the T offset to point into the Dome. Shouldn’t the “Bottom” have a cap you can open to clean the Flue?
The "T" on the outside should be turned 90° so it can be used as a cleanout for the stack. The leg you have pointed up should be going in the wall. God bless y'all.
I knew you done that for a long time ago and I knew you be getting to it soon I’m watching you from beginning to where you are now Jim and Jessica. I am very proud of you both for being able to do that. I would dare in the Arizona desert. May God keep you safe out there my dearest friends and brother and sister in Christ
Great work, Y'all! The little window box is a cool feature! I've been watching since, I think, the 7th course, so I knew about the bucket. That Jim...what a smart-mass! 😆
I know nothing about heating, just a query about the proximity of the second 90 degree bend to the wall. No doubt you have planned for temperature and the wall material tolerances, just thought you could educate me as to the safety. Have watched the whole build and think you guys are amazing, you should be proud of yourselves and this community.
I think I've watched every episode of your series. I have NEVER noticed a hole in the wall of the dome! My word, am I surprised! LOL You and your "mass jokes..." LOL
It has been such a joy to watch you guys building and enjoying yourselves. I love your energy and enthusiasm! Thank you for sharing with us and for showing what is possible with persistence, creativity, and patience.
Hey Jim and Jess, nice to see the rocket stove coming together. Jess don't worry about your grapevine, it very natural for grapevines that bud early and die back if a hard freeze hits. I tell people to not prune treas or bushes until early spring because you will have die back on the thin skinned runners. I think you will be surprised at how many grapes you get.
I do remember the bucket, and I wondered this whole time what it was for. We've been lucky so far with the frost this year. This is when procrastination pays off! We had just bought some plants for the garden and I didn't put them out the day I had planned because... I just didn't feel like digging. So I still have zucchini. Excited to see the RMH coming together.
I usually like to think of myself as observant... but that bucket took me by surprise! It was right next to the bottle window too! RIGHT THERE! It's been flashing us the whole time. Who knew that your waste gas would be exiting through your mass and out of your can!? Can't wait for the upcoming videos. Gonna be all about dat mass, 'bout dat mass, lots of pebbles! ... I'll see myself out. 🤣
Nice work on the RMH although I've never seen such wide diameter ducts on one (but what do I know--ZILCH!). When you've got the mass couch done, I will be waiting with bated breath for a positive outcome. The zoomies almost had me on the floor laughing my fool head off. Now, that is one classic zoom pattern!! Happy Egg day, y'all.
Unclear on your orientation Is the front entrance east facing? That would put the outlet ( and stove) on the north side ..,which is like my own home.. mostly protected from my SW winds of March and October. I have a metal rack holding up & bracing the exterior flue, ( which is also a “T” like yours. it’s easy to brush out the exterior flue but a pain in the mass to brush out the interior section. Have a wood circulator stove Will you have access below the bench for cleaning the pipe? Crew-ni-corn made me smile-
You two are so adventuresome, if my husband and I were younger we would be tempted to try something like that. Although we are in our 70's and have bought bare land in Missouri . We moved here from n central AZ during covid and built a small house , about 600 sq. ft. and we love it. We did a lot of the build ourselves with help from a friend. Enjoy this time it is great to look back on what you have accomplished.
Happy Easter to you too! Your video shows great stuff, including Jess’s Truth Window revealing the bags of earth forming your dome. I liked the rhythm of your narration, both Jim and Jess. Congratulations on this milestone!!!🔥🔥🔥
Jess, I sure hope you can make all that ductwork look as attractive as you made your door! Sorry about your frosted plants. I hope we don't have any nasty surprises like that in NM, I planted all my chiles and tomatoes yesterday.
Crumpet, australia breakfast food that is toasted served with butter and golden syrup, love them, also Australian slang for girls and women. Crimpy is a chicken crimpy biscuit made by Arnotts.
Happy Easter ever one. I've been using my fireplace a little bit 🔥🔥 to keep the chili out of the house > Use up my last bit of firewood . Its been around 50 degs. With lots of rain this week. So that keep me inside from making firewood
Absolutely brilliant👍 The best video so far you have ever produced, very informative and to the point 👍 These are the videos your audience wants. Very easy to watch and moved along nicely. Excellent video and editing as well as a top-class job Keep them coming !!!👍👍👍
Happy Easter, y'all. We hope you have a great day.
I did not know the bucket hole was there, and I've watched a lot. Hum....
Did you just put that Chimney T in wrong? Is it for a “ Clean-Out”?
I think it is meant for the T offset to point into the Dome. Shouldn’t the “Bottom” have a cap you can open to clean the Flue?
Happy Easter!!!
I am sorry I missed some of this build. I left a comment concerning part of your build, has their been a change in design that I am not aware of?
There’s a hole in the bucket, dear Eliza, dear Eliza, there’s a hole in the bucket, in the bucket, there’s a hole!🤪
..."😂!".....back that mass up, crimpin' and crumpin'.... Jess, your facial expression. Priceless!❤
You two are looking healthier and more vibrant everyday. Keep up the good work.
Hsppy Easter! All that metal tubing will accumilate creosote and soot have fun cleaning it out.
RMH don't develop creosote just ash. That's why you put cleanouts!
The "T" on the outside should be turned 90° so it can be used as a cleanout for the stack. The leg you have pointed up should be going in the wall. God bless y'all.
You are becoming MASSter builders!
So glad the Dome is progressing. Great work, and darling Lluvia.
There’s always time for a zoomie break! The artistic details and accents are as beautiful as the heater is impressive! 👏
Making progress!! Good Stuff!! Happy Easter!

I was surprised about the bucket.. It is a great idea. I CAN'T WAIT TO SEE IT RUNNING.. And curious how much it'll warm the building.!! Don't stop 😊
Great work, Y'all! The little window box is a cool feature! I've been watching since, I think, the 7th course, so I knew about the bucket. That Jim...what a smart-mass! 😆
Awesome! Thank you!

Always satisfying to get another part of your place finished and ready to use.
I remember the bucket! I have been here since it was a bunch of holes in the ground. 🎉 I'm super excited for the heater!
I enjoy your fortitude and quality productions. Happy Easter and God Bless Y'all.
Love the progress. And her wi down of how it's made.
Thank you posting the latest video.
Don't forget to put the outside pipe slightly downhill for rainwater.
Hmm I must have missed an episode part with the bucket in the wall- great thinking. Great material to keep learning from too. Thank you for sharing.
Awesome. Happy Easter.

I was aware in Alaska your forethought is awarded
Thanks for sharing 👍😀
Consideration: finish walls to cover bags before stoking up that stove to much,
as heat might damage the bags... just saying 🙂
I have watched all of your videos and glad you showed us. I never noticed it😂😂😂
Massive job well done. thank you ALL stay safe
Hope it works good and keeps you warm. Very interesting.

Happy Easter to you beautiful people
Love to see y'all laugh!! Happy Easter
We are getting 80° weather this week. I would suggest elderberrys as a wind break. If you like mulberrys and grapes, you can make juice.
Happy Easter. The crimping made my day! Actually and 😅💃🏼🕺
Keep up the good work..
I knew that you had the bucket in it. I have watched it since you started building the house. Happy Easter to y’all
Awesomeness

Happy Easter to you too! Your video shows great stuff, including Jess’s Truth Window revealing the bags of earth forming your dome. I liked the rhythm of your narration, both Jim and Jess. Congratulations on this milestone!!!🔥🔥🔥

"There is a hole in the bucket dear Lisa..." 🎶
Happy easter!! So I DID know there was a bucket in the wall but I didn't know why. 😊
will be nice! Get a vertical section of chimney outside the house rising to at least above the drip edge... probably farther
I did know about the bucket, and have been very excited for you guys to get it finished ~ so exciting~
Crumpet, australia breakfast food that is toasted served with butter and golden syrup, love them, also Australian slang for girls and women. Crimpy is a chicken crimpy biscuit made by Arnotts.

Have you guys seen the pallet cob structures by Miguel cobsalot? Incorporating those could be an artistic adventure full of fun! ❤
