Introduction to Pipeline Architecture Watch more videos at www.tutorialspoint.com/comput... Lecture By: Prof. Arnab Chakraborty, Tutorials Point India Private Limited
Wish you were in my college, i would have learnt from you a lot instead of using slokas for my faculties. B.tech m admission hua aur khud se padh k engineer ban gaye... You earned my respect sir ji. :-)
I haven't even finished the lecture, and I know that I want to watch him. He seems to be great. I love his Indian accent. He looks cute on an Indian accent.
My Respectful Regards Sir. Your explanations are brief, to the point and user friendly. Like all other videos of yours, on different aspects of computing (viz. Virtual Memory, Caching, Control Unit etc.), this too is an enjoyable watch, and note worthy . Thank you Sir.
I think there are some confusions for n and k. Such as (nonPipelineExTime = n * t_n), it might be (nonPipelineExTime = k * t_n) for the example when he sets n = 6 and k = 5, so does pipeLineExTime. Similar confusion also happens for the max(tao_i) in tao calculation. That might be 'n' instead of 'k'. A easy way to correct all of those confusions is to set k = 6 and n = 5.
Question:- If instruction is added at x postion in pipeline then at which postion it will complete its execution?? That is x+4 For 1=1+4=5 For 130=130+4=134
sir, you have set the n=6 and k=5 but i think here number of operation, n is 5 and number of task, k is 6.unless it will create disbalance. but after all excellent explanation. thank you
galat padhata hai , n ko k bna dia , in non pipeline you calc. Total time as n*tn, tn = phase duration of all instructions in a single segment/phase = n*tp. Too , total time in non pipeline k*tn hona chahiye ya k*tp........ I am so angry because on the 1st day of my architecture learning i watched ur this video and i was confused so i left it, now i again read from start, thought i should see ur video, but tum to blunder hi kr dia, apna hi formula banaye jaa rha, tn=k*tp......Ye kaise ho skta hai ??

Omg this is the perfect place to learn Indian accent and pipeline architecture simultaneously. Really appreciate this! Very helpful and I love it.

Very intuitive lecture
Nice,,, explanation,,, sir.....
I got this. Thanks : )
Thx a lot sir..nic
thanks for this video.
thank u sir....u make my concept clear in this topic
Awesome
Is the latch delay just the duration of the first phase?
Very nice
Thank you sir
nice table b/w phases.

That is x+4
For 1=1+4=5
For 130=130+4=134
Good one
thanku sir
tq sir
is this course about Computer Organization or Computer Architecture? M Confused!!
this topic comes in architecture,, not organization
Delays in 7 stage instruction pipeline ???
sir sound is low but its really a good lecture
thnk you so much sir, bohot accha samjhaya hai aapne pr hindi mein hoti to or zyada effective hoti, qki kuch words smjh nhi aarhe
plz make these available for free in future too
nice writing
sir plz upload all computer graphics lectures of urs .. and plz send ma link i didnt found
corrections here n>=K will be n>>k 10:25
and tn=nxtp not kx tp 11:25
Very good
U r absolutely right
The speedup can be k.n/k+n-1
here, n should be no. of instruction and K should be no of phases which remains fixed
dadu khub bhalo podao tumi
sir, you have set the n=6 and k=5 but i think here number of operation, n is 5 and number of task, k is 6.unless it will create disbalance. but after all excellent explanation. thank you
right
Wish I would have found this earlier!
thak you, from nigas
I think n=5 and k=6 then every formula satisfied....
where is all lecture of topic pipelining architecture
You can watch this "www.tutorialspoint.com/videotutorials/userview.php?userid=MTExMjYwNjMxNTA0NTEw".
k is supposed to be 6 and n should be 5. K is simply number of stages, and n is the number of instructions.
here no. of instructions is 6 not 5.
Should'nt n be no.of instructions and k no.of phases?
seems concept of sir are not clear
That is what he said @ 6:30
Yeah i also think n=5 and k=6
Sir, I am sure you wear pyjamas below this suit, don't you?
