I really like Floor and the current lineup of Nightwish but old Nightwish has a special place in my heart. It trancends music, it's truly magic.
I know what you mean. I discovered Nightwish in 2003 and just fell in love with Tarja’s vocals. Old Nightwish is just something else

love Tarja's thunderous resonance and unparalleled beauty..that entire concert is perfect display of her marvelous vocal prowess
This is not as polished as what they do now, but boy, is old Nightwish something special. I get the shivers each time I listen to this song and just... I love it.
I also love Tony and Tarja's chemistry on stage, and how they play the song together.
And Tarja's voice. That's it. Nothing else to say, lol.
Nightwish has grown up so much,it's an epic band. But this is something different and somehow more emotional to me. No big stages,no backtrack,orchestra,choir,no Marco!, just young people and their incredible talent. Also their energy and chemistry is so positive ❤ thanks guys for doing this old songs
great melodies, stage presence, no suggestive outfits or quasi-roars...complex themes and Tarja's marvelous voice

@@onlythtruth2938 suggestive outfits? Apparently you haven't seen any of Tarja's myriad of low cut outfits not that there's anything wrong with how she or Floor dresses. A comment like that just makes you sound old and senile. Also the melodies they make now are far more complex and polished than this era
@@Soviet_Saguaro .. in her time with NW and many years thereafter, Tarja always dressed with grace and dignity...and judging by the disney land music Tuomas produced in the last two albums, he is the one nearing senility..Marco is getting up there himself...their current stuff, with a rare exception is just louder and more mainstream to capture as many pop lovers as they can since they've been bleeding metalheads for a decade

And if that's your genuine opinion of the last two or three albums they've produced you're just honestly beyond help. I cannot comprehend how full orchestral arrangements, opera and rock style vocals and heavy guitar work has any correlation whatsoever to pop music. To insinuate as such shows a complete ignorance to musical compositions
I believe this is the Best version of the song... even better than the album! Emppu's guitar work is amazing on this one... And Tarja's singing was flawless! Amazing song performed Live to perfection! \m/ Thank you so much! \m/

I was there, Pakkahuone was sold out and so freaking crowded I couldn't see a thing from the back row. Then my then-boyfriend told me to stand on his steelcap boots 😅 Those two inches helped me to see the stage the rest of the concert! Oh my, the memories 🥺❤️

@@one42chrisp No idea why it always seems to be left out. It's easily one of their greatest songs, it's epic as hell and there's even a fairly decent live recording of it available now if they wanted to opt for that.

Precious fact I mentioned before when I requested The Pharaoh Sails To Orion: whenever Tuomas is going to a struggle with the band, Toni is there to take him out for a long hike in nature and make sure Tuomas has found his bearings by the time they return.

To me, Floor is the best singer in Symphonic Metal but Tarja is the bedrock on which Symphonic Metal was built on and that should never be overlooked.

THIS IS NIGHTWISH musical theatre! This is what got me into them! Not really interested in Nightwish now, I was a Fan of After Forever so Floor leaving and joining Nightwish was a bit bitter for me. I'm not saying that I can't listen to them, I'm still a fan of Floor and Marco (who I followed when he was in Tarot), it's that for me it seems like they are trying to find a way to incorporate the sound of Floor (when she was in After Forever) into their current sound.
It's cool if you like new Nightwish but for me this is the Real Nightwish. Not trying to start an argument, just my personal thoughts. Stay Metal you two!🤘🤘🇦🇺

Sorry, but I don’t get this Floor-mania!?! Sometimes she sounds like a 10-years old girl screaming! Sometimes she’s sounds good. Tarja is on another level and most of todays stupid people don’t get that. They think that an screaming voice is the best thing in the world. Tarja is uniqie, gothic, operatic, beautiful and only she can give Nightwish-songs true justice.👌🙏❤️
I really like this Channel becauce of your energy and I would like to donate to get to pick a song... But i feel that all of the reactions are The same. First 1 minute talk where you say hello and tell us to hit the bell... Then you play the song which you often cut a few times to talk 10-15 seconds. And after the song you say bye bye and let us know that the song was awesome for about 45 seconds.

This was the first time that I saw Nightwish live . Now I have seen them live five times, three with Tarja and two with Floor, and I have to say that Floor is the one this band, Tarja was good but Floor is from another planet.
I’m sorry but I’am not impressed by this performance. It could be because I wasn’t impressed by the male vocalists. I missed some goosebumps.
