For every system sold but when they actually install it that’s when we get the rest so about 30-90days we’ll get the rest which is about a thousand to couple grand which ain’t bad I’ve been broke and went get gas on a friday and out nowhere I get a deposit 4K in my account

Because nothing is free. It's the same thing if you go in and present a price that's significantly lower than the other proposals before you. People will think you're "obviously skipping something" and go with the higher bid. It's all in how you position it.

The installer pays 1.80 ppw to install the entire system. If a rep sells it at a 4.5 base, that’s robbery. The average system right now across the USA is 3.40. I would rather give the customer a realistic price than inflate my own commissions and screw them over.
