I was not at fault and yes, I am in the process of finding a new car. Not in a rush since I am out of work and in physical therapy from my injuries

It's a slow and tedious process, lots of physical therapy. And healing, I am slowly getting better. Will update everyone soon in a video.
@CodeCrafter 9000 I just totaled my 2014 Mirage. I just had some minor whiplash. What was the extent of your injuries?
Major concussion, back and spine injury (soft tissue), bruised collarbone and a sore knee. Nothing broken or fractured
@CodeCrafter 9000 Props to Mitsubishi's patented RISE safety cage! It saved my life too. I didn't check my blind spot well enough and crashed right into another car in their lane. Dumb on my part, but her Grand Jeep Cherokee was barely scratched. My whole right rear quarter panel was bashed into hell! It still drove though! Glad you ok 👍

It was 45 mph and I walked away from it with minor, non life threatening injuries
Dang, sorry about this? You getting another Mirage? Was you hurt at all or ok? Seems to have held up pretty well. I have owned 3 Mirages I have bought all 3 new. A 2015 Mirage ES CVT, 2017 Mirage G4 SE CVT and now my current 2021 Mirage SE CVT. Love my 2021 Mirage SE with all the interior and ext cosmetic upgrades.
I'm ok physical therapy helped a lot, and time heals everything else. I have a video coming out soon just got approved by my lawyers saying I can make it. Your question and many more will be answered in it.

Did insurance replace it? I whacked a deer in mine in June 2022, they totaled it but I bought it back for $3100, fixed the mechanicals, and I'm still driving it. Working on getting the body parts, but it's safe to drive, there wasn't any structural damage and the airbags didn't pop.
Yes the other person's insurance paid for everything, also sorry to hear about that and I hope that your car gets repaired.
@@mitsubishimadman7321 Oh I'll get to it once I have the time and money at the same time.. for now, it's safe and legal. Still runs perfectly, getting new tires soon.
Looking at getting a brand new one late next year, keeping this one though.
It's been a trooper, and my S-Class is getting a little arthritic at 265,000 miles and counting. It needs all new suspension and a thorough servicing.

okay, sorry for this question on a video of your mitage totaled, but how did you manage 50mpg 😭 i can only get to 40 at max under every good circumstance
It was super simple, I have the 5 speed and cruising at 55mph on a back road 50+ to even close to 60mpg can be possible. The most I ever saw on a consistent basis was about 55mpg but that was slightly down hill. But flat road you can easily hit 50mpg. The CVT might be the cause for your inability to get to those numbers
@@mitsubishimadman7321 Didn't even know 50 was possible, highest ive gone was 42 being on the freeway while trying my hardest to get it to that. I think I need an award for worst mpg in a mirage, I have a lead foot and have gone cross country a few times with a full load with stuff on top of the racks and 2 bikes on the back. Got a steady 19mpg going through mountains in CA.

When I get my new mirage I will definitely do a video of the mpg so everyone can see how amazing this car is at high mpg numbers 😃😁
@musoui Been learning a lot these past 8 months. Even with a resonator delete and it being winter i can get up to 46mpg around town, pretty impressive. In the late summer I could get up to 50mpg around town with the resonator on, much better then when i was first driving this car. Hey what year do you have and are you using the 5 speed or the cvt?
Please don’t buy another mirage🙏 they have the highest mortality rate un US.
