Damn that last edc kicks ass! Actually the first custom scales that add style, not only price to your Victorinox. Always had an eye on streamlights, fantastic design, but I sorta have enough flashlights. Hinderer investigator rocks, but as a fountain pen guy, I carry a Kaweco. Basically, I like every single piece in that edc, but own a piece of gear that works better for me. Still love that setup!

To the guy that mentioned the 5.11 pants, or anybody who EDC’s a bunch of metal objects; try the Vertx Delta Stretch 2.0. 12 pockets (most of them knife/flashlight size) that are extremely unobtrusive. No tacky cargo pockets, no knee pads or whatever, just a pair of stretchy, comfortable pants that you can wear to work, church, or on the couch.

FW3A is amazing and great in the hand with the tapered body. Even the button has as better feel than most flashlights. Its easy to locate the button in the dark and operate with gloves on due to its design. The only thing is the e-switch design can have intermittent connection and some symptoms. My friend got 3 FW3A flashlights and had 2 not working, Mine also was not working on arrival. For me just tightening the tail cap really hard was all that was needed. My friend had to re-seat the switch parts. If you have it working then never open the tail, always change battery from the head and it should be reliable.
There is also FW1A if you want more throw with a normal reflector and less heat since its less lumens.

FW3A is a great light if you have any questions on how to do some of the electrical modifications like the aux board and such I can help as I modify and create custom flashlights, some examples on my channel

Hey! I'm Connor. That knife with all black hardware was a limited run. Mostly have to find it second hand, and the guy that put the mountains/gashes engraving doesn't work on knives anymore, so your best bet is to find one second hand, although daily customs edc does still sell these scales plain. good luck!

If you dont like scout or cross draw bark river or dark timber have some nice sheath options and sizes but for Bradford or that style of fixed blade the straight up and down or dangle options are kinda limited

I actually had and event staff member pretty pissed at me becausse of the freezer thing. I was part of the kitchen staff and they had ham & cheese sandwiches in the freezer and set it to 7, so I went and set it to 0. That repeated a couple times until someone arrived and asked who changed it, I said I did and was asked why, so I said "cuz it's a freezer, it freezes so 0 is less cold, unless you want to sell frozen sandwiches" and this guy's face started deforming cuz that never clicked for any of the staff members nor the kitchen supervisor.

Taylor if you ever want to give away any plight flashlight I would LOVE to get one. I’ve been wanting to get an plight for my edc but never had the chance to get one. My little family is first then I can get what I want. It’s even harder when working really hard and making very little.

What is the motivation behind "EDC"? Is it a part of prepping? Is it for your job? Is it because you like the engineering?
Simply to have the items you may need day to day on your person, or at least within arms reach. (That IS a sort of prepping I suppose.) The "modern male" tends to look to others to solve his every problem or issue. Some of us would prefer to be equipped to handle problems ourselves. Society now calls it "prepping" our fathers, grandfathers, great grandfathers just called it common sense. They carried firearms along with rucksacks, saddlebags, messenger bags, possible bags, bindles, etc. to deal with what needed to be done. The "modern male" carries a cell phone to call for help or rescue. Some problems need to be solved that way, but most can be dealt with alone by someone who is "prepared".
The real question is how many of those Olights did you actually spend your own money on? Apparently if you're a gear reviewer Olight spam mails you with lights. They're good lights, but I prefer tail cap only lights and I'm tired of seeing their products on my TH-cam recommended list.

Personally, I think the Norseman is an ugly knife. And that's coming from someone with a deep Norse background. It looks like a badly thought out design, with no functional use, except to do damage to other people, if not one's self. It doesn't even have a cool factor. But that's just my opinion, so take it for what it's worth.
