This fighting between Bethenny and Carole was the worst for me because I really like them both. In spite of all this, I still do.
I really don’t like the constant interruptions on these reunions. It’s always been a pet peeve for me. I try to listen to the other person when I’m having a heated conversation. It’s important but it’s also important to be listened to when it’s your turn to talk. When someone can’t do that it’s over for me.
Bethenny interrupted everything Carole said. Carole ended up doing it as well because she knows she won’t get heard if she doesn’t. Watching Bethenny get more riled up than I’ve ever seen her speaks volumes. Carole is a formidable opponent because she’s telling the truth. Again, I like Bethenny but Carole called her out and did it well even with all the interruptions. Bethenny even got up n got in Carole’s face! She got up a couple times during the arguing. Andy didn’t even say anything to her.😮 That is unacceptable. Carole didn’t deserve that. Andy does seem to favor Bethenny in this mess with Carole. It was hard to watch. I don’t think Carole was heard the way she should have been and therefore didn’t get any closure in all this.
To end on a good note, they’re both living their best lives. I wish them both happiness. 💝🌎💝

Carole was sneakily trying to round all the housewives in her corner thst season but it didn't work fully. Sonja didn't fall for the earrings gift, LuAnn sided w B because Carole took Dorinda's side during the subplot fight - Carole was kissing Lu's butt the whole season after the arrest... it just didn't fully work because Bethenny actually stepped in LuAnn's darkest moment to help her as a friend should, not just on TV.
Totally agree!!! Carole was so nasty towards Jules when Bethenny was around. Carole is a follower and molds into whoever she's friends with or in an relationship with. When she first came on the show she was with Russ and she behaved the way he did with her too cool for school attitude and to me a little elitist, when she was with Heather she was a different person, with Adam I felt like he made her feel younger snd she behaved like a college girl in love, with Bethenny she became a bully and just mean spirited. Carole doesn't have much of s personality, she tries to give off the Carrie Bradshaw vibe, but comes up short

I like Carole, she has this cool factor and I like her hobo chic; but I do have to agree with that because it’s the truth. I really preferred watching her before her friendship with Bethenny, because Bethenny is a mean girl. Carole is classy and charming, and getting close to Bethenny like that she was losing those qualities and adopting some borderline mean girl behavior too. Sneaking out of a host’s house like a couple of unappreciative, rude brats, as she did twice with Bethenny at some point, is not something that I would have imagined her doing before she engaged in that friendship with her. I also knew that it was all going to end bitterly for Carole because of how Bethenny is, and sure enough here it is. It was obvious that there would come the day when Bethenny would turn on her and things would end sowerly, it was just one of those obvious dynamics. When someone treats you well, but treats everybody else poorly, that doesn’t mean that you’re special, it just means that it wasn’t your turn yet.

Bethenny knows when to go quiet and let someone dig their own grave for a bit. she has stamina. Carole loses a lot of steam after an initial strong start and then starts repeating or talking over the other person. The only person I've really seen get the best of Bethenny is Jules and maybe Luann with how she can be kind of like teflon.

I don't know why I took Bethenny's side on this one watching the season, she looked desperate for any friendship. Watching it back, I see Carole was blindsided. I still think Carole was having some midlife thing triggered by Adam and was too cool for Bethenny at some point
I feel bad for Tinsley cause Carole should’ve worded herself better (which was hard to do with Andy & Bethenny’s gaslighting), she should’ve said “I am friends with Tinsley and we do get along great, but not in the way Bethenny stated they were to spin the narrative for the show” Bethenny wanted to make it out like Carole was the fairweather/superficial friend who clings onto people, when that wasn’t it. Carole should’ve stated that in a way that didn’t throw Tinsley under the bus

Watching this again, I think Bethenny's downfall is that she lacks that "sensitivity chip" at times. She's almost too practical - she says things as they are, very matter of fact, without taking into account how it could affect someone. So it's not that she's wrong, but more like that she lacks tact and self-awareness about it. Then it literally destructs her relationships...

In season 8 episode 11 Carole said she always position herself to have temporary relationships. She admitted that she married her husband knowing he was sick and might die. "When someone tell you who they are: BELIEVE THEM!!!!" The fact that Carole totally hurt Tinsley in an effort to disprove what Bethenny said about them being close, shows you her character. I used to be on Carole's side in this argument. I thought Bethenny was a bit too harsh with her friend. But I recently re-watched from season 1-11 and I must say, for better or worse, Bethenny has been consistently who she is. And Carole has always made those little snide remarks about people but this season, she was a bit worse. I honestly think it has something to do with season 8 and the fact that she was called a mean girl for how she treated Jules. It might sound strange, but in season 9, the moment she figured she could manipulate Tinsley, she latched on to her and this is the result. She wanted to distance herself from Bethenny - although Carole was much worse to Jules than Bethenny - and she used Tinsley to do it.

Honestly Bethany really comes across horrible. What’s all the focus on Carol having a job. She had a successful career as a journalist and now she’s taking it easier in her career. They both said harsh things to (and about) each other, but that "you don't have a career one" was totally out of line and must have stung. Carol does have not one but two careers, she started off as a mainstream journalist and now is an author. Could she be more prolific, and more on point with her deadlines? Yes she could, but then again if she isn't it's obviously because she doesn't need to. She's made good enough money with this show as well. Point being that they are all working women, even if the show is their only gig (which isn't the case for most of them) they are all working, gotta put some respect on that. The fact that Bethany is good at making money doesn't make her have more of a career than anyone else. As far as I can see it, she has indeed done a whole bunch of different stuff as well, and hasn't had a career in only one monolithic thing either. We are all in the hustle, and respect is pretty. In fact, respect is one great thing!

I’m not a big Carole fan.. while I did find her funny there was something about her I just didn’t really care for, but here is where I side with Carole. I think this all stemmed from Bethenny being jealous of Carole and Tinsley’s relationship. Many people said Bethenny didn’t have friends, and I think Bethenny got jealous once Carole started busying herself with her other friends like Tinsley and her widowed friend in California. Bethenny even mentioned during the reunion how Carole didn’t invite her out to dinner. I would be hurt as well especially if I paid for vacations and allowed you in my home. I think Bethenny was also jealous that she had to work for a living… which I think towards the end Carole had money from her late husband. Carole seemed well off… I know she had the books and worked for ABC, but how much money could she really have from those things especially ABC. So she was really living off the book deals and sales, which again makes me think she had a lot of money from her deceased husband. I also think Carole had such an easy time making friends… she was friends with Heather and they clicked and she was able to maintain that friendship, she didn’t really seem to get into it with the other women, she was neutral, and a lot of the women invited her into their homes IE Bethenny, LuAnn, Heather etc. She was even close with Luann at one point until the boy toy came in the picture. They even made a comment about that during the reunion or the show how she is everyone’s houseguest. I think that is a jealousy point as well. You’re so well liked you’re invited everywhere and you don’t have to pay to stay anywhere. IMO these were all things that Bethenny was envious of. You can have all the money in the world, but still be lonely and I think that is what Carole had that bethenny didn’t. She was able to have friendships across the country and MAINTAIN those friendships. I think Bethenny has a lot of acquaintances, but close friendships I’m not to sure of. I don’t follow her well enough to know. Bethenny made many little snarky comments throughout the season about Carole and Tinsly’s friendship and I’m like YEP this is what she’s mad about.. she can try and spin it that it’s about adam but it’s not. Carole even mentioned she would have gone to Puerto Rico with Bethenny, but Bethenny didn’t invite her and I think it was a form of punishment to Carole. She knows Carole likes that stuff, as she was a reporter etc, and she would have been the best person to go but NOPE, she chose drunken Dorinda.
Let’s say: Bethenny created a multi-million dollar business. Carol writes articles and books about her sexual experiences in New York City. I think that says it all!
The point is that when Bethenny and Carole were friends, they were mean girls and brought out the worst in each other. They are both bad people who want to be the coolest person in the room.
So does anyone know what really happened? Did Carole get fired or did she quit? Bethenny and Carole were both petty af towards each other this season 10. It sucked cause we like seeing them as friends and Carole called her a narcissist, but I fail to see how Carole isn't one herself . I like Bethenny, but I agree she has narcissistic traits along with literally all these women. They're just different levels of intensity basically.

Don't get me wrong, I did enjoy the following season , but wouldn't as a viewer and a fan, you'd be interested to see what unfolded next between these two? I know I would've. @@dorothyspeaks6997 that's crazy how y'all sit on the internet and lie and unfortunately there are people that will read this and run with this same fake ass story Carol quit she was never fired she said that everybody in the production was siding with Bethany and it wasn't right nobody was being neutral behind the scenes on top of that her Mental Health wasn't worth all the stress so she left and he did not fire her or was not going to fire her I think Andy skin is thicker than that

Both r not innocent I think both led to the falling out of The friendship but for me what I SAW with bethenny (im not saying Carole is innocent just looking at what bethenny was doing) is she again has this obsession to remind u how wrong you are, she CONSTANTLY wants to always remain as the one who can describe any person and her words r final, if Carole was changing then so what? Who cares? I get asking Carole that things have been changing r we still close but saying ur not the Carole I knew… like ok y does Carole have to appeal and maintain some sort of image that fits u I’m sure if bethenny was changing and Carole kept questioning it then bethenny would freak and start crying like she always does
