I always get a gift card to Joanns. And I mean that's fine and all, but, can you maybe make it to one of the many independent local yarn stores I'm always talking about!!
I got into crocheting 6months ago and loving it! I’m an intermediate knitter but crochet always confused me until I found your channel and quite frankly you’ve been a god send in teaching me not only crochet but Tunisian crochet 😊 my 9yr old wants to learn but has ADD and gets easily distracted so I’m buying her a knitting machine so she can see what she has created and get the bug that way and hopefully she’ll pick it up with me 😂 love your channel!! ❤
I started planning in August and made my mom a knitting @advent calendar “ I bought a wooden crate. Bought the items, wrapped them in craft paper and tied on wooden number tags for all 25 days. We’re on day three. So far, she’s opened a sock stretcher, cat stitch markers and a print out of a digital project notebook. There’s so much cool stuff, and most is from Etsy makers.
the maker’s board from coco knits IS LITERALLY MY FAVORITE PURCHASE. i have my pattern, embroidery scissors, and darning needle on the board for easy access and then easily fold it up and put it with my yarn, along with the active project. it is SO worth it and SO practical.
Dear Toni, many thanks for once again a great video! Another idea re. gifts for crafters who use their hands: a hand cream. Very affordable, I know I usually keep a tube when I crochet or knit, since my hands can often be dry. Let's not forget our hands are our main tool and we all should take care of them. Can't wait for your next video and thank you for sharing your experience, tips and patterns! Love from France!
I second this.. Winter especially dries out my hands, and yarn can be slippery to hold with dry skin. When I start dropping stitches, I know to go moisturize! 😂
Toni just need to let you know you kept me sane while having to spend a few days in hospital! I binge watched you for 3:days and found your voice so soothing to listen to. I’m a returned crocheted and at 64 I am learning so much from you. Keep up the great work!
I LOVE this, thank you Toni!! Would also love ideas for crocheters/knitters to give to others. I love making my friends my crochet creations, but I’m just coming up flat on small/quick gifts to make this year
I'm making everyone crochet pillow covers that fit into pre made pillow forms. 🤷🏻♀️ An 18" square case works up quickly, stuff the pillow form in it, whip it closed and it's done!
Considering how much we’ve all been dependent on hand sanitizer these past two or three years, maybe some cute hand sanitizer cozies/carriers? Ravelry has some cute patterns. And of course, when in doubt, potholders/coasters are always a good thing to fall back on.
This year I’m making a pillow, a table runner for a coffee table, and a few Pokémon stuffed animals. The Pokémon ones aren’t so quick but using a basic stitch pattern for the pillow and granny squares for the table runner makes them simple and easy!
I have that heavy duty yarn ball winder. It is wonderful! Absolutely worth every penny. I don't have a swift, but my husband doesn't mind holding hanks for me ☺️ This was such a great list!
Just popping in to say the Stanwood Ball Winder is so worth it. Beautifully sturdy. I knew I was going to be winding yarn into cakes for many years so treated it as an investment. No regrets.
I am mainly a knitter and don't crochet that often, but I just love your videos! I really love your way to present and explain things, I find all your reviews very clear, entertaining and yet informative. Even when you voice a personal opinion, you do it in a way that everybody understands your reasons and that they have to set up their own "standards". Just love you and your content. Please keep up the brilliant work! Hugs and greetings from Germany!
I was just scrolling through my subscriptions wondering why I haven’t seen a video from you in a while and then I realized that for some ridiculous reason I hadn’t subscribed. So I subscribed and then immediately watched this video 😅 no longer part of the 60% I love your videos and I’ve been watching you for over a year now!
I’ll have to share this video with family and friends as my official wish list!! Maybe I’ll get something I really want this year. If all else fails, I’ll gift myself somethings from this list😍
Loved this video Toni! Every time I watch, you always have me laughing. 🤣 I love so many of these ideas that you shared. Those wrist rulers are so neat! I cannot wait to get your book! That was my Christmas gift to myself 😆❤️
Love this! And if you STILL don't know what kind of yarn to get, ask the maker in your life questions about what they're working on. I don't know anyone in the fiber crafting community that doesn't like to yammer about yarn and what projects they're working on for hours, giving you plenty of time to gather information about their preferences. If that fails, take a peek into their current project bag.
My one nephew hooked me up last Christmas with both a Stanwood swift and yarn winder...don't hate ;). Scheepjes is pronounced Shape-yers...I looked it up, lol. I want the Cricut mug press, too!!!
Received my digital edition yesterday and thumbed through it. Then at bed time really read through it from beginning to end. Excellent gift to give or receive , my case self gift. Excellent clear, clean, explained examples. Congrats you did an amazing job.
So much positivity and happiness from this video. Thank you so much for all your videos, always puts me in a better mood. Bless your heart and enjoy the holidays
Wielkie dzięki za możliwość obejrzenia wszystkich produktów. Odkąd oglądam twoje filmy, marzę o szydełkach, których prawdopodobnie nigdy mieć nie będę, ale marzyć warto
This is amazing thank you so much! I always have trouble telling my mom and grandmother what to get me in terms of yarn or crochet goodies, so now I'll finally be ale to give them some guidance
Thank you for the wonderful suggestions. I had to laugh at the toothbrush suggestion, but since your smile is what brought me into your channel one day when I needed it, it must be a good suggestion! Looking forward to sharing these with my family.
I’d love a video on Tunisian increasing or triangles. I want to buy the Ada shawl pattern but I can’t grasp to concept of increasing. I’ve tried watching other videos but nothing beats how well put together your tutorials are ☺️
Loving the list. One thing that’s at the top of my list is: Furls Odyssey Crochet hooks. I figured if I put it out into the universe, someone’s bound to call and ask me what I want for Christmas! Lol.
I'm Dutch so I grew up with Scheepjes. You have to use your throat for the 'sch' sound (it should not sound like 'sk'), which is a sound the English language doesn't have, and the double 'e' sounds like 'a' as in A-B-C. Good luck! :)
Sure I love your videos, sure you are entertaining and talented but has anyone mentioned your flawless looking skin, hair and smile? Girl. You are lovely! 🥰
omg thats so me the second it turns november im busting out my christmas lights and my mini tree for my bedroom and im snipping up paper snowflakes to hng from the ceiling
I accidentally found you on TH-cam and so glad I did. By the way, I am so jealous of your hair, the colour and the curls. Hello from Queensland Australia. 😊 Yes I have subscribed to your channel.
Toni I just love your vibe, you’re an absolute ray of sunshine! Loved this video! Edit: I’m an artist that learned knitting and crocheting as a young. I use Blick acrylic paint and it is wonderful for the price, nice texture and pigmentation, well worth buying the set especially during the holiday sales you can get a really good deal.
Awesome "wish List" for me to send to family and friends, Toni! So many wonderful things included, I will have to watch again and, like you suggested, take notes. Lol! Thank you, Toni. 💜🧶💜🧶💜
Bought your book before release . . . FANTASTIC!!! This is a really great quality bound book and the content is just as great as your channel. SOO informative and easy to follow. I have been doing tunisian for a few years and doing cross-stitch on the fabric after I have it done. Even though you named it a Beginners book, I have been learning so much from it. Thank You!
🎁🎈🎉 Yeah….today is mail day for your fantastic BOOK 📕👏🏽👏🏽🎉🎉🧶🧶. I’m so excited…. Thanks for 60+ best gift ideas; family is getting this video, YEAH. I live for your new videos, tutorials, yarn-snob and hook reviews, and your infectious ENTHUSIASM! You are the best!! 🎖🥇🥇🥇🥇
Hi Toni, I love your videos, I have lerned so much from your tutorials, The Tunisian titch is my most favorite stitch to make my projects. Your Tunisian book is in my Amazon cart. just waiting until pay day. Thank Toni, Love You
This was a great video. All of your suggestions are wonderful. I’m the yarn lover so I’m going to share these ideas with my family. Thank you for sharing. 💜
Hi Toni! Happy Thanksgiving 🦃. I’m writing this as I’m snacking on a Swedish Fish (a girl needs her snack)😉. My wonderful new best seller arrived yesterday, and can I say, YEAH, WHOOP THERE IT IS, 🙌🏾 👍🏾. Oh my gosh….decisions, decisions ❤️. Thank you for the hours of joy I will be spending creating gifts to share family and friends.
You nailed everything I would want. Thank you. I'm sharing this video with my husband so he can get me your book and many other ideas you provided. Thank you once again and Have a Wonderful Holiday.
Definitely late to this, but my aunt got me stitch markers for Christmas, which had loops and fasteners, but along with that, a little beaded bracelet, her logic being you can attach the markers to the bracelet so they don’t go missing (she may have heard me saying about losing stitch markers!)
I just love your videos! You have taught me so many new stitches and your calm, reassuring manner makes everything so easy!
Thank you!
Or, and hear me out, 60+ gifts you can give yourself because your friends and family always resort to yarn-themed coffee mugs 😂
Hahaha!
Yes because no matter how many hints I drop no one buys me anything I want , need or can use. 😖
I always get a gift card to Joanns. And I mean that's fine and all, but, can you maybe make it to one of the many independent local yarn stores I'm always talking about!!
Wow that's what I thought 😂
@@darshinisugumar857 there’s only so many mugs I can use in a lifetime 😂

This is a good one! I'd honestly love a nice bottle of hand cream 😂

I have that heavy duty yarn ball winder. It is wonderful! Absolutely worth every penny. I don't have a swift, but my husband doesn't mind holding hanks for me ☺️
This was such a great list!
Toni, I love your channel. I am a 60-year-old, life-long crocheted. ❤️. Your tone, background and information are all next level.
I am obsessed with your curls. They are AH-MAY-ZING! Keep trying to listen, but just keep thinking, “damn, I wish my hair looked that good”
As someone who does a lot of cross stitching, embroidery hoops and aida cloth are almost always on my wishlists!
Just popping in to say the Stanwood Ball Winder is so worth it. Beautifully sturdy. I knew I was going to be winding yarn into cakes for many years so treated it as an investment. No regrets.

Saving this to send to everyone who loves me!! Including myself for “Treat Yo Self!”Day!
I wish you could knit. I love crochet too, but knitting is also great. You are able to teach crochet very well and that’s why I wish you could knit.
