As a life long Man U fan, I’m not ashamed to admit that his goal and his interview afterwards put a huge smile on my face.
That’s why football matters. That’s why the toe tags who own our top clubs got it so wrong. They will never understand that fans care about the game first, and that even the most committed fans of clubs who supposedly hate each other will stand up and say ‘wow’when they see something special from another team.
