This is why Liverpool and their fans are leagues ahead of any team in the PL. We LOVE our players and don't sit there complaining or dissing them every single week, even on a bad result.
So many things went wrong last season all of our CB's being injured several of our players getting injured coming back and then getting injured again. Players like Robbo and Salah running themselves into the ground, TAA not having the best season, Phillips and Rhys stepping up, Hendo and Fab having to play CB, Alisson having a tough time and so forth. I just can't believe the difference from last season. This moment was huge and had such an impact.

Good assessment and very true. We also seemed to get quite a few perfectly good goals ruled out by VAR last season which cost us valuable points. One that always sticks in my mind is the late winner against Everton which was incorrectly ruled as offside, in the same game which saw Thiago out injured for months and more devastatingly, Van Dijk taken out for the whole season by Pickford (who should've been red carded but was not even booked by that disgraceful referee David Coote!).
Makes me laugh when people call us LiVARpool, considering there were official stats which showed that we suffered the most from controversial VAR decisions last season. The same stats also showed that Man Utd benefitted the most from dodgy VAR calls!
Not enough credit goes to John Achterberg for this moment. He's the one who told Ali to go forward. You can see how much the payoff of the decision meant to him in the celebrations and for Ali to point him out is a really nice touch
