    Hi
    Thank you so much for the video. Please let me know for how many days we can store this black buttercream. In fridge or outside fridge. After applying black buttercream on cake do we need to keep cake in fridge or outside. And life of cake please.
    Thank you

I knew there was an easier way to do this which is why I ordered the black cacao powder the other day and I should be getting it soon but I thought why do we have to go through all this can I just pour it in with some powdered sugar and pour some milk over it like it can’t be that this is difficult and why do you know it here you are confirming exactly what I thought you could do so thanks for posting this and confirming how to make this!

      Hi Monique! Nope as long as you don't overwhip it it'll be fine :). The frosting shouldn't be hard as we are only chilling it for a short time so the extra whipping is just to get rid of any air bubbles that may have formed :)

      Hi Chrissi! Hmmm vanilla black buttercream is pretty hard to achieve without adding a whole lot of black gel colour. You can try the microwave method where you colour the buttercream and then heat up a portion or all of it and then remix it. This helps deepen the colour without adding a lot of gel colour :)

      Hi there :) Oh no so sorry to hear it didn't quite work out for you! Hmmm so it should be stable and pipeable, especially after being refrigerated. The only thing I can think is that perhaps the quantities were slightly off? I would recommend using the gram measurements for accuracy just incase it is due to the quantities :)

    • @lavenderjohnson7017
      @lavenderjohnson7017 11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I definitely used my grams scale to make sure everything was measured exactly, I put it in the fridge for about 30 mins piped a rose on a cupcake and came back in a few minutes and it had melted down. I am also not anywhere where it's humid right now it's actually fairly cool. So my concerns are when I fost this layer cake and let it sit its going to melt away should I add more sugar to it? Cornstarch? Whip it first? I didn't Re whip after I tool to out the fridge?
