Soloed off that very runway about 20 years ago (and ATC instructed a JM flight to line up in front of me, too...). That hop across from Portmore takes a lot longer in a 150!
its soo nice to see blue water...over here in california its dark green and the beaches are filthy. the only thing its good for is begginer to intermediate sufers but thats about it. my dream is to go to a beach, drop my keys purposley and actually SEE them and pick them up.
That`s a lovely approach & landing. You came in from the south, then did the right turn towards the runway. I only know the north approach, over the mountains, then into Kingston harbour and the left turn to the runway. Very impressive!
Wow I didn't know that they take different route when approaching Kingston, I was always under the impression that they come in from the same direction lol
I have landing in Kingston and many, many airports but not being a pilot (I wish I were) this is a new perspective for me. Thank you very much for sharing. Much appreciated! I would love to see a landing from your perspective coming into Logan (Boston) and into San Diego... always seemed interesting to me as a passenger.
great videos. By the way do you have any frequencies that ATC uses for Sangster and Manley after being haded off by Kingston Center. Also would you know the high altitude frequency on the west side of Kinston Acc overhead Cayman's . is it 128.35 or 124.0 ???
I may have heard you on San Juan's LIVEATC radio ???? Would you happen to know the Approach frequencies to the airports in cubas 120.25 and 123.7 sector ?
Caribbean runwys are so cool.....either in the sea or right next to it.....always feel youre about to do a water ditching before the strip looms up under you.
Nice one again. Like all your vids. Therefor Inhave 2 Q´s: 1- What´s the range of the MD-80? 2- How far can you fly from your base? Because I've seen your video landing into MIA. Thanks for sharing.
Within 4 minutes of landing 2 kids approached the plane selling Ganja!! But it was a diversion , their brothers were stealing the wheels off the plane......Ahhh Jamaica....
