Imagine being a qb and getting paid for production and NOT throwing randy moss the football.
That's something that's hard to imagine. If I'm him, I'm closing my eyes and letting it rip in his direction. Triple coverage or not, he's getting the ball thrown to him.
@@edgarramirez9113If the Lord himself said Randy's not open, I'm still sending it just in case.
Kerry Collins sucked for the raiders
i’m saying😂
@kenmorris8219 dude it was literally almost impossible to overthrow him to the point where he became unguardable lol
Having Moss on your team and not using him should've been a crime.
Really should have been.
No way youre a Raider fan and think the problem was he wasnt being used…..

That's how you know you have to be different on the line of scrimmage
The intensity of his illiteracy is rather impressive. In his book he admits he can still only read at a 3rd grade level. One like equals one prayer for Warren to finish “Goodnight Moon”

Moss is now in the NFL HOF. Kerry Collins is in the college hall of fame. So in other words a non NFL Hall of Famer made a decision not to throw the ball to an NFL Hall of Famer. Make it make sense!
Randy Moss half-assed every thing in Oakland and clearly didn't want to be there. Randy is one of the Great receivers of all time and the only thing that stopped him from being #1 was his lack of effort when things weren't going his way.

I agree with you 💯, I'm a Raiders fan but will admit, they have and still do make moves to make lots of us scratch our heads??? One of the most snake bite'n franchises in the NFL
Randy Moss was the most gifted WR we have ever seen. Jerry Rice was the BEST Tactician WR we have ever seen
Kerry was a very underrated qb and that 94 Penn state team was probably the best college team of all time 2 number one picks half the team went in the first round. Kerry was great
A mid qb fumbling a free ticket to a contract extension because he’s never watched moss film gotta be the dumbest decision in nfl history. Even dumber than the goal line interception.

T. O. Woulda made Kerry Collins a probowl QB like he did with Jeff Garcia.

You gotta love Sapp's honesty
This is why, I tell people JaMarcus Russell was not a Bust. The Raiders organization was the bust. What player did anything before or after Russell was gone? There still doing bad and blaming Jamarcus. It was a reason they had the first pick.
What a great time in football lol
Still remember when OAK picked Randy up, we all thought the Raiders was gonna light the AFC West on fire in the mid 2000's, even as a Charger fan it was frustrating and enjoyable watching the Raiders squander a Prime Moss at that time. Moss all time numbers would've been higher if he didn't join the Raiders. That's a fact.
Man Russell did a lot to himself..they gave bro a blank DVD..asked him about the defense on it and he said I think we can beat it or something..he partied a lot too
@@curtiswatkins7476 I remember that, yeah their OC wasn't sure if JaMarcus was studying his playbook based on his play at that time so yea, they gave him a blank CD and asked him if viewed and studied it and of course he says yes and that's when the Raiders knew they F'd up.
@@curtiswatkins7476 You're right and the person that told that story was a linebacker. Where's he now and what was his name? He was part of the bust Raiders.
@@MacMarvelous84 The Raiders was F'd up before he got there. That's why they had the number 1 pick. They still F'd up.
Besides Rice, Moss is the by far the best reciever I’ve ever seen.
I was at a MNF Seahawks-Raiders game in 2004 in Seattle. Seneca Wallace was the Seahawks' quarterback -- SENECA WALLACE!
The game was totally winnable.
I watched Moss run several long routes in the early-going, and he never got targeted. We Raider fans were screaming at 'The Lush" (Kerry Collins' nickname at the time) to throw him the damn ball. He never did.
By mid-2nd quarter we watched Randy check out. He started running routes at quarter-speed, just going through the motions.
We never understood what was up. Now, finally, 20 years later, the real story comes out. Thanks, Unc, for asking, and thanks Warren for telling it!
Just throw the ball ...moss got it 💯
So turns out Randy didn’t quit on them. He just wasn’t gonna waste his talents playing for idiots who had zero idea what kind of weapon they had.
💯💯💯💯💯💯
Kerry Collins was a head case with talent…he couldn’t get out of his own way…
Yes he was
They’re certain wide receivers you don’t question you just throw it to them because you know they’ll make that play moss, dez Bryant, Calvin Johnson just to name a few

That's the big difference between them two, T. O. Could catch short passes and turn them into touchdowns so he didn't NEED a GREAT quarterback.
Yes 💯 Finally 💯
No wonder his numbers were down. I'm like this though if you're a mid tier below average QB you really have no choice but to throw Moss the ball
T. O. Woulda made Kerry Collins a probowl QB like he did with Jeff Garcia.
That's the big difference between them two, T. O. Could catch short passes and turn them into touchdowns so he didn't NEED a GREAT quarterback.
@@Jason83md Randy didn't need great Qb's. Did you not watch the video? THEY DID NOT THROW HIM THE BALL in Oakland. We can tell you're a T.O. stan 🤦🏽

Randy DID need a GREAT QB or a QB with a GREAT ARM.
His career confirms that.
T. O. Produced EVERYWHERE he went, good QB, avg or bad.
@@Jason83md of course I'm a Moss stan lol. You think every qb he had in Minnesota had an arm? You know how many underthrown balls he caught that made those qbs look good. You know how many short passes he stretched like ya boy T.O. See the difference between Moss and every other wideout is that he DOESN'T HAVE TO run routes. Look for signal 🙋🏾♂️, chuck it up and TOUCHDOWN!! 😆
@@hilltop565 yes every QB he had in Minnesota had an arm.
Moss benefited off his height, not his skill.
He was fast and tall, not skillfully great.
If the league was full of tall guys like moss then you woulda never heard of him.

Not impressive.

T. O. Woulda made Kerry Collins a probowl QB like he did with Jeff Garcia.
That's the big difference between them two, T. O. Could catch short passes and turn them into touchdowns so he didn't NEED a quarterback that could " throw it "
With Moss that wouldn't have mattered.
Randy Moss can make any qb look like a hall of famer
Mary Poppins would throw a deep ball to Randy Moss.
I’da been like, “500!”
On that note, why didn’t teams just toss a lob to Gronk at the goal line? I never understood NOT letting him box out a defender and win a jump ball for 6. 🤷🏼♂️
You must be joking..Brady always looked for Gronk in the red zone..and they had a lot of success
@@mantheobrown2233 jump balls weren’t exactly Gronk’s specialty… most of his long gains and TD’s were a product of perfect play-action passes hitting him in stride
I love Randy Moss. He is The GOAT❤
What the heck was Kerry Collins thinking??!!
Jealous he was that type 😅
If I had Randy Moss as a WR I'm leading the league in INTs.....and Touchdowns. He's getting the ball every single play.
Did Kerry just missed the years Randy was in Minnesota
No he didn't miss anything. Kerry was a picky racist. He had his favorites and I don't think Moss was one of them.
Nah, it's just that since Moss was a 1 trick pony aka a deep threat, he didn't think to still throw Moss the ball if he was well covered or double teamed.
T. O. Woulda made Kerry Collins a probowl QB like he did with Jeff Garcia.
That's the big difference between them two, T. O. Could catch short passes and turn them into touchdowns with EASE so he didn't NEED a GREAT quarterback or a QB with a GREAT ARM or GREAT ACCURACY.

I'm born in 93 the Randy should be the best of all time
Imagine not throwing Randy Moss the ball lmfao.
SKOLLLL BABYYYY 😈😈😈 Moss did his BEST with us Vikes 💪🙌 84!
My QB stats every game would be
27/30 - 300+yds - 5TDs
Randy Moss stats every game would be
27 catches - 300+yds - 5TDs
One the most gifted athletes to ever play wide receiver!
Kerry Collins was always ass 😂😂😂
Ive been having the same problem with the QB on our pop warner team! We got a tall WR that is real good but our QB threw him the ball once and it wasnt the best throw and the WR just kinda gave up on the route and it got picked!
I worked on this with the WR at the next practice though and if you can get the ball within like 4ft of him he almost always gets his hands on it and brings it in!
Its crazy the amount of politics and all between the players and coaches and players and players and coaches and coaches in football, plus the league and refs and other team hahaha! Gotta love it though right!
Just put the ball where Randy has a chance and db doesnt and randy going to win his share of battles without an interception

Exactly WHY they got rid of Collins!!

The year before Tom got Randy… 24 touchdowns 3529 yards.
The year he got Randy… 50 touchdowns 4806 yards. It was a magical year Randy had his most touchdown receptions that year with 23
Without that sad quarterback situation in Oakland, Randy is the undisputed GOAT.
I went to a Raiders vs Chargers game in San Diego. Randy did not get in the huddle that entire day on Offense lol he was so fed up with that team. Crazy how Raiders land quality talent and can’t keep them to save their lives

When he went to the Patriots look how many catches he had in double even triple coverage. Brady trusted Moss and it paid off. I hate the Patriots but man I wish Randy would have got that Ring in that undefeated season.
