I never really learned to tie my shoes. I'd always beg mom to buy velcro shoes when I was younger and she'd always give in, which in turn stunted my growth on shoe-tying. Even when I got laced shoes, I'd use lock ties to keep them in place. In 6th grade I learned how to tie my shoes and I made to tradition to tie them once and never again so I could slip them on. Whenever they became loose or untied, I was always humiliated to ask for help tying them back. This video literally made me feel so proud of myself. Thank you.

When he puts the straight shoe lace over his fingers that are pinching the other shoe lace at 0:59 it creates a space between the two shoe laces, take the straight shoe lace and pull it through the space between the straight lace and the pinched lace and it will create the knot.
