@@slavaukraine716 dude, what if every superhero's artistic taste is just pure trash tho? It'd be like, "Yeah dude, stick to just saving the world, thanks."
Man.... this song, no this album brings back so many childhood memories. My parents named me Cambria after the band and I've been listening to this band since that day I was born. I LOVE YOU GUYS!!!!!🤘🤘🤘🖤🖤🖤
Omg, that is so freaking awesome... it totally puts my age and life into perspective lol. I would totally copy off them too if, 1. I ever wanted another kid, and 2. If my lame husband would ever let me... which he never would. And dude that's love.. me being w a man who is like "ehh they're ok" lol
The drums on this song are crazy... and I'm not sure but I think he mainly plays single kick. The gallop and ghost notes combo is almost like a blast beat lol. Wicked. Not to mention how goooooodddddd all the instruments sound.
I agree with the whole gallop and ghostnote combo, it just adds so much tension in those 2 times Josh plays it. It very well is one of my favorite uses of ghost notes ever
Ill never forget...i ALWAYS played this intro riff to warm up my fretting hand before I played a set with my band...One night a group of ppl recognized what it was and man ill tell ya it was one of the best moments ive had on stage lol
In case you guys didn't know, all "The Camper Velourium" songs are about a serial killer murdering women who resemble his ex. "A Favour House Atlantic" caps off this arc.
Sɴᴇᴋ_Dᴋʟᴇs im familiar with his comics but i didnt know if it was based off a real world serial killer. So it still id based off the armory wars then? Goood
This is more of a darker glimpse into the mind of Al the Killer. Since Al's character is portrayed as a Han solo-ish character with charm. As shown in Faint of Hearts, then this song is more of an unraveling of his mind, then...the true Killer is shown in the third part. Al the Killer
It's like Han Solo if he were a normal human being and not a sociopath like he is in the movies. Han saw a lot of crazy shit, If he were an actually faceted human being, the trauma he's witnessed along his adventures would slowly eat at him until he lost his marbles. I mean cmon, he's killed so many people in his wacky space adventures. Combat veterans IRL come home with terrible mental illness and serious chronic trauma responses and I'm sure they've been through less than Han on his galaxy-spanning crime spree. He has to be a psychopath to keep his demeanor so calculated. Sorry, mini-rant about Han Solo over. This can really apply to any fictional character, though. They're not supposed to be realistic sometimes. But when Claudio writes his characters, I think he takes extra time to add a layer of depth to them. A layer that deals with anger and grief, and extreme pain. Something a lot of writers choose not to include because it implies weakness.
How this song relates to the story of Armory Wars: Ambellina’s presence on the Velorium Camper stirs up memories and Al begins to to think of past relationships. He obsesses over Ambellina, who tends to avoid interaction with him. He works up the situation in his head until he feels completely rejected by her, as he once was, and swears never to love again. Although there have been several popular fan theory over the years, it's really just about Al's creepy attraction to his ex-girlfriend, Luci. While Ambellina is on his ship, it's never shown that he falls in love with her. He does try to rape her though, but that doesn't get far, and that's in the next song anyway.
I don't think I truly appreciated this song until events in my life ended up reflecting it almost exactly. "The end of my day I found out you weren't worth what I thought of you." says it all for me.
Who would have thought in 9th grade this would now be preparing me for something i am going through at 35! Ending an abusive relationship of 5 years 2 kids hurts like fuck, but I know better.
Thankfully, a fair amount of the ad revenue goes to the actual artists (yay royalties), so looking at the ads, and liking the videos will actually end up supporting Claudio and co. monetarily.

Unheavenly Creatures is an amazing album! Dark Sentencer has to be one of my favorite songs on the album
The harmonies in this song doing to something to me.
It’s like I’m listening to some melodically advanced alien communicate with my nervous system
Claudio really knows how to hit you with the vocal one-two
This song has always given me a similar sensation as waking from deep sleep suddenly
"I overheard.." like a spear in my heart. I've always loved the harmonies on this album.
exactly such is the power and frequency of claudio's soul
The last minute and a half is one of the greatest, most powerful climaxes in a song I have ever heard, my god
I’ve never heard a song with such beautiful melody and vocals
That last lyric, "I wish I would never hurt again" - sums up my entire lovelife. Fucking Claudio man 😭😭

This.
Sorry to hear that, sad people.

The Amory Wars comic series written by Claudio Sanchez himself.

I'll bet this is the ABSOLUTE most enduring song to play live in their entire library. Just ask Claudio.
