It's a disaster that they are moving away from being a sports car to being a chinese-appealing "luxury car." That, added to prohibitive costs and impossible availability means ... it's OVER. I've been on a waiting list for a GT3 allocation for over 3 years (since mid 2020). Nah. No more, thank you. I truly regret selling my 2017 911 Turbo S (991.2) at only 4,500 miles. In my opinion, Porsche has not gotten the front bumper correct on a 911 in a while. Closest thing to good looking is the 911 turbo. Every other 911 has an okay front bumper, but not beautiful. Unfortunately, it looks like the 992.2 is even worse. I'm glad I bought a 992.1 Carrera T with sports design package in high gloss black. I still don't think it's beautiful, but it's better than what the 992.2 will be.
Also, thank you for these regular updates on the 992.2. You are the best source on the Internet for 992.2 updates. Please keep them coming on a regular basis, thanks!

992.1 are not too difficult to find available in Southern California. Many dealers have several from which to choose, and generally with an ADM of around $40k for ordinary models. GT3 / GT3 Touring / RS etc have $100 to $250k ADM. Several very low mileage 2023s are available as well, with no mark-up. As for the 992.2, prices will make most customers pause for quite a while before paying hug sums to buy something that is not exactly what they dream of.

Lol. Anyone that buys these cars for this much money is absolutely nuts.
I've had the privilege and opportunity to drive turbo 911's, carrera S's, and all sorts of other high end sports cars. They are all fun to drive, and yeah, people look at you everywhere you go (the real reason why they're bought), but none of them are worth half this much money. Crazy thing about Porsche, the average person can't even tell the difference between a 1996 carrera or a 2023.
You can have just as much fun with a used Camaro, Mustang, or a Corvette for a fraction of the cost.
What a crazy time to be alive. At this point, just get a Ferrari or a Lambo instead.

I have previously owned 3 Camaros, 1 mustang, and 1 GTO prior to getting my 911 turbo. I cross shopped it with several cars including the c7z06. The 911 is a significantly different experience than those cars. Much more refined and the quality of the materials used is absolutely noticeable. And the point of getting the 911 instead of something like a Ferrari or Lambo is the reliability and affordable maintenance costs

And you can get discounts from the AD because interests rate is around 10% if you buy it on hired purchase.
    Not many folks are buying.
Don't know about the USA market.
But from the details, your getting bent over backwards at the AD.
    It's like Rolex watches.
You can't buy any from the AD.
But it's full of shite, because they are holding them back, and you have to buy a solid gold one before relinquishing stainless steel model to you.
No one is buying and most likely Rolex has shot themselves in the foot now.
China has drop sales for around 25% for porsche cars.

Both are sought after in the US and both are increasingly difficult to acquire at retail (through dealership or AD). Not sure if you are misinformed or simply pushing misinformation in hopes or altering the market. If I want to do a twin turbo 2000hp build then yes Lambo. Otherwise I'll take the reliability and maintenance costs of the 911 over a Lambo
