If you use a nail file to remove the over lay of the tissue it will not tear. Wetten the edge (where you want it tontear) is also a technik I use to provent tearing.

I was wondering what you use as a sealer? I left a stamped piece (used staze on) overnight came back in the morning and sprayed with the sealer and all my ink fuzzed out. I've tried it with 2 different spray sealers and same thing.😭 Thanks for the video. 🤗
Linda, I'm using the ordinary Rust-Oleum Painter's Touch Ultra Cover 2X Clear Gloss from our local hardware store. The key is to keep it at least 30 cm or more away from your pewter and give it a very light spray; 2 to 4 light layers are better than one thick layer. The project determines how many layers I'm adding. I usually wait about 20 - 30 minutes between layers. I'm not sure why your StazOn ink is fuzzing; I sometimes spray/seal about 30 minutes after applying the stamp pad ink. Please let me know how your next one "pans" out.
