That whole Episode took several Takes to get through, that scene there especially..That was raw Emotion..The entire Cast and Crew had a rough time of it throughout the Episode...and thankfully the Producer didn't force them to "Soldier on"...

I don't know why, but this death is so hitting hard. It's not often that I cry over a celebrity's death but this is different. And this song just broke me. Again.
It's also a one-two punch with Cory Monteith. There has been way too much tragedy amongst this incredibly talented group, especially considering they're still so young. (I know there's a 3rd death but he doesn't deserve to be mentioned at all, let alone beside Cory & Naya).

Such a powerful performance. After hearing about how she stepped up to take the lead on this episode, it was clear that you could see how much the cast really looked to her for leadership. Seeing the realization on Harry and Matt's faces that she was having a hard time holding it together for the performance is a testament to how close she was to them in real life. She managed to turn it into an amazing scene regardless and it really hit home how close she actually was to Cory
Same!!!!! Every damn time. This song especially because you KNOW the emotions in this scene are not acting. I mean yes, they’re all fantastic actors. But they didn’t HAVE to act here. It’s so different than any other show where they just kill a character off to write them off. They had to specifically craft this episode after Cory died, and I’m sure the writers didn’t even have to put any blocking notes in the script. Just told the cast, feel what you need to feel! I didn't think I would cry anymore at this moment either. Even when Naya passed I came back to this song. Then, my good friend from college passed in September and he was a full on Gleek. He was a Glee fan through and through. It already hit me hard to even look at Glee due to the times in my life and my own journey with the show, but now it's going to hit even harder every time because I will always think of my friend first now. It was a lake, not a river. But then, honestly I can not imagine the pain that her family is going through. I'm so sad that she's dead, but then when I think about what she died doing, that makes me smile. At least her son is alive. Gosh, after listening to "Mine" again, I started crying hard. There is so much sadness and pain in this world . That will never change. I have been working on getting closer to God . Trust me, prayer works. It is amazing. I know I had thoughts like "this world is so cruel, I don't wanna live in it". We as children of God don't belong on this earth, we have to work hard to get back to where we belong and thats in God's kingdom. There will be no sadness, pain, death, violence, grief. Only happiness for eternity. Doesn't that sound amazing? I think that 2020 is very horrible but maybe for a reason. Its time we start to follow Jesus our Lord. We have to come to him in times like these, but also in good times. God is good all the time. I use to be so weak and emotional to these very sad things. But as I have gotten closer to God, I feel stronger , like I can survive in this world as long as I have God by my side; and he always is . Of course I'm still very saddened by these deaths of such kind and amazing people, but I am stable and feel much stronger now. I know its hard to connect to God. You can lock yourself in your room, listen to some Christian music. Connect with the lyrics, cry if you need to. Let all your emotions out. There are even stories of her helping them in real life. This person has Cory as their icon. So many people idolize Naya. That doesn't mean we should ignore when something bad happens to them. You know how REAL that reaction is though? When I lost my grandmother, everything scared me. I can't even begin to explain the feeling. It was just a constant fear that was coupled along with grief. I couldn't even tell you WHAT I was afraid of. I was literally just afraid. Santana screaming and running are was so beautiful and vulnerable. It just goes to show you how deep that character really was.

I was talking with other glee fans last month how much I wanted new Naya music and how amazing she is. This sucks so bad. I remember watching the news hearing she disappeared. Her son was on the boat and my mom said “this is the third one.” I asked her what she meant and she pointed to the glee star tag and I went “ohhh no not again.” Because Cory died when I was 10 and Mark died when I was 15. This one felt surprisingly more upsetting. The words hit harder now. Actually so hard once that while I was listening to a glee playlist while driving I had to pull over to calm down. I miss all three of them because their characters touched my heart the most. I need Puck’s charisma, Finn’s strength, and Santana’s power just to keep my head up. Rest easy you three. We love and miss you(yes even mark. I know what he did but come on ya’ll)
I never knew about Naya and when my friend showed me a video of her singing this song two weeks ago I realized what good person she was (I did my research). I was starting to listen to her and I heard she was missing. I prayed that she would be found alive and well, but then again, not all wishes come through. When I heard she was found I just read the first part and didn't read the rest! I was so happy but then my mom told me and my heart dropped. It's so said how some people don't appreciate the things and the people around us until they are gone and they don't realize how fortunate they are and even though some are aching (and some like @Roberto Zuniga don't really care) don't be sad instead think about what she died doing, she was a brave young lady dad put her son's life over hers, if you read articles it say she was struggling and helped her son back in the boat but she couldn't help herself in time.She was a very brave woman and she out others lives in front of hers. Prayers go out to Naya's family as they need all the comfort they can get. I really hope all you reading this feel better after following my advice and I love you all :D
I never watched Glee. My wife is very religious, and that show would have freaked her out. I am so sorry I missed it. This made me weep. Not just for Cory, but for Naya. What a great loss. My deepest sympathies to both families and the cast and crew of Glee.

I know I had thoughts like "this world is so cruel, I don't wanna live in it". We as children of God don't belong on this earth, we have to work hard to get back to where we belong and thats in God's kingdom. There will be no sadness, pain, death, violence, grief. Only happiness for eternity. Doesn't that sound amazing? I think that 2020 is very horrible but maybe for a reason. Its time we start to follow Jesus our Lord. We have to come to him in times like these, but also in good times. God is good all the time. I use to be so weak and emotional to these very sad things. But as I have gotten closer to God, I feel stronger , like I can survive in this world as long as I have God by my side; and he always is . Of course I'm still very saddened by these deaths of such kind and amazing people, but I am stable and feel much stronger now. I know its hard to connect to God. You can lock yourself in your room, listen to some Christian music. Connect with the lyrics, cry if you need to. Let all your emotions out. Pray to Jesus like he is a friend you want to tell everything to, someone you can trust 🙏. You can watch christian movies . One really good one is "God Is Not Dead."God wants you to come to him as you are. He loves you. God bless you❤

This person has Cory as their icon. So many people idolize Naya. That's literally like if you're worried about a celebrities mental health and you just say "They don't even know you exist-" And? That doesn't mean we should ignore when something bad happens to them.

When I lost my grandmother, everything scared me. I can't even begin to explain the feeling. It was just a constant fear that was coupled along with grief. I couldn't even tell you WHAT I was afraid of. I was literally just afraid. Santana screaming and running are was so beautiful and vulnerable. It just goes to show you how deep that character really was.

I was talking with other glee fans last month how much I wanted new Naya music and how amazing she is. This sucks so bad. I sobbed when she sang this 7 years ago for Cory and I find myself sobbing again this time for her and her little boy. I truly believe Cory help bring her home. Rest In Peace you beautiful angel.

I remember watching the news hearing she disappeared. Her son was on the boat and my mom said “this is the third one.” I asked her what she meant and she pointed to the glee star tag and I went “ohhh no not again.” Because Cory died when I was 10 and Mark died when I was 15. This one felt surprisingly more upsetting. The words hit harder now. Actually so hard once that while I was listening to a glee playlist while driving I had to pull over to calm down. I miss all three of them because their characters touched my heart the most. I need Puck’s charisma, Finn’s strength, and Santana’s power just to keep my head up. Rest easy you three. We love and miss you(yes even mark. I know what he did but come on ya’ll)

I never knew about Naya and when my friend showed me a video of her singing this song two weeks ago I realized what good person she was (I did my research). I was starting to listen to her and I heard she was missing. I prayed that she would be found alive and well, but then again, not all wishes come through. When I heard she was found I just read the first part and didn't read the rest! I was so happy but then my mom told me and my heart dropped. It's so said how some people don't appreciate the things and the people around us until they are gone and they don't realize how fortunate they are and even though some are aching (and some like @Roberto Zuniga don't really care) don't be sad instead think about what she died doing, she was a brave young lady dad put her son's life over hers, if you read articles it say she was struggling and helped her son back in the boat but she couldn't help herself in time.She was a very brave woman and she out others lives in front of hers. Prayers go out to Naya's family as they need all the comfort they can get. I really hope all you reading this feel better after following my advice and I love you all :D
I never watched Glee. My wife is very religious, and that show would have freaked her out. I am so sorry I missed it. This made me weep. Not just for Cory, but for Naya. What a great loss. My deepest sympathies to both families and the cast and crew of Glee.
the thing that made me break down was the fact that she was calm at the beginning, then as she goes more into the song you see how it affected her, then she breaks down into tears.
