Naya said in her book how hard was for everyone to do this episode bc every emotion was real and even though she and Lea didn’t get along so well she praised her for being able to do it. He was everyone’s friend, no one had a single bad thing to say ever
Yes! That was the most well written, best acted scene. Nya, of course gets to me but you could tell it wasn't the original audio of her crying so it didn't sound as genuine. I know her feelings were. But this scene with Carole is like a punch to the heart.

After her final performance in Funny Girl on Broadway Lea Michelle sang My Man as a tribute and it was glorious. There are vids of it on TH-cam. It's worth the watch.
I can't believe people would want Lea to sing that live, it was probably hard enough in studio. Just last summer, you could still feel and see the pain when she sings it, and you know she only does for his fans.
Oh yeah, how can anyone expect her to make it through that song live when it first happened. You can visually she her sobbing while performing it but you don’t hear it cause it’s not in the recording. How she got through it at all, I’ll never know.
@@GA-fn8hr Yeah, that’s true, you can definitely hear the heavy breathing. I didn’t know it was the last song of Glee to chart. That actually makes alot of sense being that the show went off the rails after Cory passed.
@@seanshukoski3457 Well, considering that her costar and boyfriend in real life had just passed away less than 3 weeks before filming that, I highly doubt she needed to use her acting chops to cry during that performance but yes, most actors can cry on demand, you are correct about that 👏
Rachel/ Lea Michelle talking about Finn/Cory always gets me. Knowing that they were engaged and together in real life makes my heart so heavy. To this day she will still post something on her Instagram in remembrance of Cory.❤ No one should have to experience the loss of their partner.
@@aleshiabernal5949 they were not engaged that was a rumor as was that they were about to be married. it does't make it any less tragic but still not true.
What's especially tragic is the Lea and Cory were also together in real life. So there's no acting for her, for anyone for that matter. The cast was like a family, loved each other, so this is a very real celebration of Cory's life, and mourning his loss. There are a lot of unscripted moments too, like Naya's scream and running away.
I remember watching this live and I sobbed the entire time. Every commercial break I calmed down and then BOOM right back to tears. I was curious if they would do a tribute episode in the first place and so soon. Couldn't even listen to Naya's tribute for months after her passing. So many losses. Not going to be ready for when Jenna and Kevin get to that episode of the podcast. Thank you for unloading this reaction when thw time comes 🤍🌸🌟
I was thinking about when Jenna and Kevin get to this episode on the podcast as well. I hope they really delve deep into specific details. I love their podcast but sometimes it’s a bit vague. I want to soak up all the love, emotion and every little detail they’re willing to share. I hope they fully let their guards down when they get to this episode.
We have to remember that Cory died in July and this episode was shot in September. It was extremely raw for everyone. The performances of the cast are real and that enhances them because they are not acting grief, they are grieving. But the writers are also grieving, everyone knew each other… Ryan Murphy says he regrets shooting the episode. He says that he would probably end the show after Cory’s death now.
@@Heida77I think so too. It may have aired in Sept but I remember them saying they only pushed back going back for season 5 by a few weeks. I agree with Ryan saying that if it was now prob would have ended the show after Cory’s death and he def wouldn’t have done this episode ( and so soon after). I can’t imagine how the cast and crew made it through this. I personally believe it was too much for anymore to have to contend with, especially such young people. With that being said, the decision to move forward with this episode and the timing of it gives us arguably the most real, raw, vulnerable, grief stricken hour of television history.
Yeah I can’t imagine my friend dying and then immediately having to go to work and basically…reenact the fact tht my friend died. Like seeing Lea in this episode shocked me because she looks like she’s not even eating
The actress who plays finn's mother... She should have. Win an award for that scene. The whole Chapter is strong to manage and we all cried with lea and naya. But the mother scene. god!!!!!! It sank me into tears.
I don’t think Lea could make that song live. But, she made a tribute and sang this song for his 10th anniversary. It would be lovely if you react to that. You can still feel a lot of raw emotion on it. I believe on her opening night for Funny Girl she left an empty seat for him too. And did a small tribute for him on her speech when closing too. You can tell she loved him so much (and still does). She has that Glee plaque and a tattoo on his behalf too.
iirc it was actually mark salling (puck) who got the finn plaque unless lea got/took it after mark died. what i'm sure of is that lea got finn's framed jersey
All I can say as someone who lost a brother and watched my mom grieve is that whoever wrote Finn’s moms lines were spot on. My mom tells me how even now, 16 years later she still has that split second in the morning were she forgets he’s gone but than it comes back and kills her all over again.
Cory and Lea were dating when he passed, and the song she sings at the end of the episode is a song she and Cory would sing in the car together all the time, according to Lea. Also, the ending she describes about her coming back and him teaching and her saying "I'm home" was supposed to be the actual ending of the show.
There aren’t enough tissues in the world to get through this episode. It’s the saddest, most well written episode of the series. It’s a beautiful tribute to Cory.
That is a bit disingenuous. Ryan said Lea was the strongest 26-year-old her ever encounter and she wanted to work, but they gave her less for less pressure and for impact to show her grieving later, but not because she was so distraught she could not o it. The way you wrote that sounds like Naya had to take over/step in, which is not the case. They can and have filmed out of sequence all the time.
@@fez5228 and I was going by Ryan who wrote the episode. Again you made it sound like Lea was written to do more but Naya had to step in which is not the case.
I've only watched the entire episode in full twice and again with you. It was so hard watching it for the first time but I feel like it helped me "accept" that he was gone. I genuinely felt like a friend had died. It's been 10 years but I'm still so sad. Of course Rachel and Santana's scenes are some of the saddest, but the scene that really breaks me is Kurt, Burt and Carole in Finn's room. Especially Carole's line: "You have to keep on being a parent, even though you don't get to have a child anymore." I know it's not really acting but Romy Rosemont is incredible in that scene. The scenes with Puck and Beiste were heartbreaking too and I don't agree that it was "off". Other good lines are Kurt's "Shame is a wasted emotion" and Sue's "It's just so pointless, all that potential...", which is both so true (at least in that context). I think what Sue meant is that a young and gifted person like Finn dying is such a waste of what could have been, not that his life (or any life) was pointless. At least that's how I took it. I actually think it made sense for Sue to react the way she did. What didn't make sense was Tina, but then again, nothing since S3 has made sense about Tina. Some people were weirded out by Will taking the jacket because he was so attached to his former student, but considering how he had acted prior to his death I think it made perfect sense. I think he felt a tremendous amount of guilt for losing so much time with Finn because he was acting like a child after the Emma kiss. Say what you want about Will, but he genuinely cared about these kids. I do agree it was pretty shitty to Puck though. As people probably told you when you reacted to the performance, Naya's breakdown was scripted but much later (at the end of the performance). Also, considering how she died, the lyrics "Sink me in the river at dawn" take on a whole new meaning. And Puck and the tree... if you know that Mark hung himself from a tree. Creepy. The fantasy Rachel describes to Shue was how the show was supposed to end. I get why you'd question if she would leave Broadway for him and come back to Lima, but... let's just wait and see what happens. Finn's cause of death was deliberately not mentioned because, much like Kurt, they wanted to focus on how he lived and not how he died. There were mixed opinions on that but I personally think it was the right call. It wasn't really necessary for the plot anyway. However, Kurt's line is pretty much identical to what Carol said when she told Finn that his father died of an overdose. I haven't seen any confirmation but apparently an early draft had Finn dying of a drug overdose. Also, while Quinn was very missed, Dianna has shut down the rumours that Ryan didn't want her back for the episode. Pretty sure it was because she was filming a movie (The Family with Robert De Niro, Michelle Pfeiffer and Tommy Lee Jones). And Heather obviously wasn't there because of her pregnancy. Interesting fact: The title card, which has Finn/Cory in the Glee logo, was made by a fan. And the quote on the plaque is "The show must go...all over the place...or something" which is an actual Finn quote from S2E17 "A Night of Neglect". Sidenote: I would love it if you reacted to Glee and Lea winning at the Teen Choice Awards, which was held just a few weeks after Cory's death. Kevin, Jenna and Amber made speeches, as did Lea, who made a surprise appearance. There was not a dry eye in the house. th-cam.com/video/ogsw2gfpGhY/w-d-xo.html
There was honestly a lot of, not really acting, in this ep. I don't know how anyone made it through it. I know Santana's running off crying wasn't even in the script. That was all Naya
The way I read tina was that people spent year after year telling her not to cry out be so emotional about anything and now she's having trouble accessing it.
It always makes me so so sad seeing Lea in this episode because of how much you can tell the grief was getting to her. She was so small, understandably so, and it makes my heart hurt so much for her during this time. Losing Cory was so hard for her, and that picture of her carrying his framed jersey off set always gets me.
I remember watching this when it originally aired. The biggest thing that got me was how you can see where the acting stops and the grieving shows. Mercedes's performance still gets me in tears. Also, the bit that Rachel says to Will was actually a description of the original series finale plans before Cory's death.
The amounts I cried during this episode..is unmeasurable. I cried from the time it started to the time it ended. I didn’t realize how much Cory’s impact had on me and his character had on me and my life until this episode. When I ended I cried for a good 20 minutes
Oh god, not that episode 😭😭😭💔💔💔 #ForeverCory #ForeverFinn That scene with Carole, Burt and Kurt...OMG...Romy, Mikey and Chris just nailed here 😭😭😭💔💔💔 Ps : In his plaque it says :"The show must go on...in all over the places or something..."
This is always so heartbreaking to watch. Even more so now that Naya isn't with us anymore. When rewatching Glee I tend to skip this episode. I know I'd be crying a river otherwise♥
14:24 - Ryan Murphy talked about the loss of Cory recently. He spoke about this episode, it took the longest of any to film. The next longest was 4x as short. He also spoke about the team trying to decide what to do once Cory died (it occurred between seasons). He now says, and he said this with regret and sorrow, that they should’ve NEVER continued the show after his death. Now, this statement was SHOCKING, because some of their best rated episodes and best selling performances came in season 5 and season 6. The statement that he would’ve ended it at season 4 proves he is not in it for the money. He said recording this episode was obviously hard because they were mourning the loss of Finn and Cory, and everyone mourns differently. It made the cast separate like shotgun pellets, he says friendships that he KNOWS existed ended- and that hurts him every day.
Shit, the ending with Will crying over the jacket... goddamnit, that scene in particular broke me... I remember watching the episode live and crying for about 20 minutes after it ended because I could hold myself. With its ups and downs, Glee will always have a special place in my heart.
I lost my sister and my parents lost their oldest daughter 5 months ago by a drunk driver. When Finn’s mom says “how do parents go on after loosing a child” just so awful and sad. This show is such a beautiful tribute ❤
I remember back when I was OBSESSED with Glee this episode absolutely hurt me. Saying goodbye to not only a character but the actor too is so sad. Especially knowing that all the emotions were still so raw when they filmed this episode so shortly after his passing is hard. I always tear up when listening to Seasons of Love because there is an unreleased version of this song where Cory sings a verse in it🥺. Make you feel my love is so beautiful and the fact that Lea has sung it live and it is so emotional and beautiful when she does. I cant watch Glee often anymore because when I get to the final episode of season 3 I remember what happens and then I feel sad for a week🙃🥲
This episode destroyed me, I am a recovering addict, so when Cory died it hit home hard. As bad as they say Lea Michelle was on set, you could see how much pain she was in. You could see how much pain they all were in.
I can't till this day watch this episode without crying my heart out from the very first scene until solid 30 minutes after the end of the episode. Knowing that there was practically zero acting in it, makes this 100% more painful to watch, they all felted the loss and it was completely on display during filming. Even Naya's break down was unscripted, she couldn't finish the song and they kept it in. That's just heartbroken honestly. I hope they are all in a better place, even Mark that has done horrible things, I hope they are all in a place of learning and preparing to be better. I hope they're all in peace right now.
I watched this episode only once but I cried the entire time. I cried mostly when Rachel made an entrance, and when Mr. Schu finally burst out in tears. This is an intense episode.
I remember watching this episode when it first aired and I remember feeling like it was still very fresh and raw that he had passed, but the scene when his mom broke down was when I started crying and never stopped after that really. I feel like looking back now I can see some of the awkwardness you mentioned, but if ever a show gets a pass for less than stellar writing or performances this would be it. I forgive it all in this ep because wow, how DO you handle something like that? There is no wrong or right. I do remember feeling like this was one of the first times we saw real grief so publicly and made it the focus. The only other time I can remember something like that during that time period was on a show called 8 Simple Rules when the actor John Ritter suddenly passed away and the actors (Kaley Kuoco and Katey Sagal in particular) had to address it and then take on the show after losing the lead and frankly its premise and try to keep it moving forward. It exceptionally moving to watch real grief in a performance where you have the channel it into a character. Personally this episode for me is one of the main reasons I think Glee isn't something we've already forgotten about.
Rachel’s performance in this episode always gives me chills. I was living by myself for the first time when Cory died and remember sobbing my eyes out. It felt so tragic and jarring for someone so young to pass like that. Just like the song Naya sang. Sharp knife of a short life.
Cory's death was my first real and true experience with grief. This show and he meant so much to me I just broke inside for a little bit after he passed. I remember being so confused to my feelings and my mom had to tell me that I was grieving. Which sounds crazy I never met him I was just a fan, but Glee had helped me through some really bad dark times and losing him really felt like losing a friend.
I’m so sorry you went through this-the first time grief hits us …it’s such a shock because there are so many emotions we feel. And no it’s NOT crazy that you grieved so deeply for a character and the human who played him. There are many of us who let TV/movie characters in soooo much…sometimes more than irl….and we laugh when they laugh, we cry when they cry. If the actor themselves pass, it hurts even more. The fact that he felt like a close friend -well that adds ANOTHER layer. I’ve read that Lea sang for Cory on Broadway, which is a wonderful way to remember/honor him. I find that when I grieve, whether it’s for my own brother or for anyone else who’s touched my life, it helps me to find a way to honor him/them-cry if I need to and then just live my best life. This was a tough episode to watch because I loved Cory too. Sending you, and everyone Glee-centered, lots of hugs.
Thank you so much for reacting to this on your TH-cam! I love watching your reactions, they’re filled with so much genuine care and emotion. I don’t have anyone that shares my love for Glee and these characters and actors so watching your videos makes me feel like I’m watching with you. This was the episode that got me into Glee, only a few years ago. I was interested in watching because my cousin passed away at 21 yrs old, the same way Cory did. He was also the quarterback of his football team in HS and the popular kid that stuck up for all the underdogs and put the bullies in their place. To this day, I wonder if he had a natural ability to sing and just didn’t know it. Anyway, I find comfort and solace through music, I grieve through music, I get signs in the form of songs from loved ones who’ve passed, ect. It just speaks to my soul. It took me a long time to build up the courage to watch it, I sobbed through the entire episode ( still do). I knew that episode would speak to me, I could have never imagined that from then on Glee would become my before bed show ( 3 yrs and counting). Rewatching this episode now, with my love for Cory and Naya, it’s tough to get through. Such raw emotion and grief and less than a month after Cory passed. How the cast and crew got through this, I’ll never know. So, that’s my rant about my love for Glee, this episode and your reaction videos.
Iv never been able to re watch this episode after it first premiered but this made me cry watching it agin thank u for letting me relive this moment in time
Thank you for doing a video on this episode, and bless your sweet, compassionate heart!... I watched it and cried with you, crying even more than I did when I originally watched the episode 10 years ago. Ryan Murphy has said many times, that Cory's death collectively broke all of their hearts, and that the spirit and joy of doing the show had... 'left the building'. He said that he watched the episode when he originally edited it, then never looked at it again. To this day, Lea Michele has still never watched it. Such a sad and painful situation all the way around. We all know that these actors weren't really high school students, but they were still very young. They were all living their dream, and just beginning to navigate, or learn how to navigate, being 'stars'. I can't even comprehend how shattering and painful this was for all of them. Ryan said he initially considered cancelling Glee after Cory's passing, but talked extensively with Lea about what she felt the right thing to do would be. It was finally decided that Cory would have wanted the show to keep going... so that the cast, crew, writers, wardrobe, etc., would still have jobs... and could continue doing what they loved. Thank you again for reviewing this episode... I actually really, really enjoy watching all of your videos, and love your passion for music. I also love your caring and nurturing personality, and your protective stance when it comes to your members. BRAVO!
I got through 3:57 seconds and I was just like Nope nope nope nope nope NOPE. (lego batman scene in the background). I have not watched it since it aired, because it wrecked me and just rewatching it is bringing back all the emotions. I can't deal. You do reactions so beautifully though thank you.
About to go into my appointment at the dentist but glad I caught this… This episode made me cry right from the start especially knowing that there is a version of Seasons of Love with Finn/Cory in it & now with Naya gone too 😢💔
I think when sue said there was no lesson to be learned from it, she meant finn's death. She was saying that it was pointless to lose someone so young, so full of life and with so much potential, that not everything happens for a reason and we just have to keep going, no matter how frustrating that is, because that's life. I actually like her plotline a lot because it shows someone grieving differently. She's not crying like the others, she's joking around like she always does. She feels the pain but she wants things to go back to normal, she doesn't want the school to be mourning forever because she thinks it's all pointless. I think that's a very interesting perspective on loss and grief.
who care about the jacket i mean Mr shue was holding it together for the kids but he needed a moment to process too i think he gave the jacket back(they don't show it but that's why i think) later but he needed time and something to cry over and still feel Finn in some ways .. honeslty i didn't feel that was off at the end i think that was probably hard to write something that clearly wasn't plan but also try to make some "funny moment" just so US the viewers also have a little bit of laugh in this heartbreak..
The part where Rachel talked about leaving Broadway and coming back and saying' "I'm home.". Was the original ending of the show, it had been written already, when Corey died they had to change it.

I was balling when it first aired I actually tried out for the glee project beat out 2 people. I watch it every year for Cory anniversary. The show was officially over when he passed.!! Just my opinion. Cory and Naya are having a ball up in the sky !!!! ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ 😢 😢 😢 🙏 🙏
I had a gym teacher when I was in high school who Sue Sylvester always gave me flashbacks to. She hated me and believe me, the feeling was quite mutual!! She actually fabricated absences on my attendance report so she could flunk me...SENIOR YEAR!! I see the three deaths in different ways. Cory was a tragic accident. He was in a fight with his demons, and they won. Mark Salling was a truly desperate act. He felt trapped and panicked. Naya was a Mama Lion, protecting her baby. She used the last of her energy making sure he was safely in the boat and tragically was too exhausted to get in herself. I hope that the three of them all found the peace that they so truly deserved. God Bless them all.
When you realize this episode aired in October of 2013, and there was a delay in the season premiering, so they filmed this episode in August 2013. Cory passed in July 2013, which means the cast probably filmed this tribute like, 2 or 3 weeks after he had passed. Knowing that makes their tears so much more painful.

I had a similar experience. Frank was the only “boyfriend” I had before my husband (he wasn't a true boyfriend, we just called it that to bolster both of our self-esteems); I went to Prom with him all three years of high school. He died tragically in February of my Senior Year of college (2001). My mom waited to tell me until I came home for Spring Break a month later, because only 4 months before (November 2000), my grandma had died (which was my first major loss).

They didn't want to write in how he died because they didn't want to jeopardize the reputation of Cory or Finn. I'm sure if they had written it in, it wouldn't have been the same reason as real life, but they didn't want people to see Cory in a different, more negative light. The initial plan for the end of Glee was to have Finn take over the Glee club and replace Will, but they had to re-write that as well and have Sam take over instead in the last episode, which is definitely something you should react to if you haven't already.
When I’ve watched glee all of the seasons I cried during the quarterback season so bad Cory Naya and mark all past and I went back and re-watched it it hurts to watch it but it is so good and they did pass in real life during the quarterback season those were all real emotions
I think Ryan Murphy said it was decided the reason of Finn's deas was the same a Cory, as to raise awareness. It is briefly mentioned that he died of an overdose at a college party in the episode, tho in Cory's side it was a long fight with his addiction. The episode hits this hard because they were actually mourning a colleague, a friend, a lover... He was engaged and soon to be married with Lea by the timr he passed away. When Naya died i think I may speak for everyone when i say that we all went back to that scene of her singing for Finn, it hit double then. As for Mark Salling aka Puck, I don't feel the same grief tbh, I have mixed feelings, because his circumstances were so very different. For ever the one still hits me the most is Naya's paasong away...
it’s never mentioned how finn died, i’m not sure where you heard about the line where they say he died at a college party of an overdose, but it’s never been featured in the episode. the closest to that is burt saying the last time he saw him finn was upset about an upcoming test at college. also he and lea were not engaged. they were talking about their future and that was probably soon to come, but the biggest contributor of that rumor was a photoshopped image of them from the kids choice awards with a paper that said “we’re getting married” the actual paper said cole sprouse, who they were welcoming on the stage
I had stopped watching, by the time this originally aired. But after Naya passed, I try to watch this, at least every year and ugly cry. They were both so great!

@@roseyp7047 I actually think you can hear it some. They knew people would want a recording of it as well, it was the last song of glee to chart.
@@roseyp7047yeah, cause actors don’t learn how to cry on command. 🙄
I don’t think they were engaged
Yes they were engaged. They were actually meant to get married really soon when this happened.
@@aleshiabernal5949 they were not engaged that was a rumor as was that they were about to be married. it does't make it any less tragic but still not true.
They were not engaged. They were just long time partners and had recently gone public.
@@nicanproud yea I didn’t think they were engaged
Romy Rosemont (Finn’s mom did amazing!!) she deserved an award!
Look
Took me five months to finally come and finish this reaction. Still painful to see this 🤍 love to everyone
I actually think it was shot in August, I think they had finished within a month of his passing.
Like seeing Lea in this episode shocked me because she looks like she’s not even eating
the cast themselves has said in interviews that they had to start filming within weeks of his passing.
@@roseyp7047completely agree
I've only watched this episode once. The scene w/ Carole and Burt is the most well written scene of the episode. Her acting is on another level.
what rachel described to mr schue about how she imagined their lives, was actually how glee was supposed to end
Finn's plaque said "The show must go....all over the place or something" He said that when their setlist got stolen in season 1
Naya stepped in to lead the episode as Lea was too distraught and could only join towards the end
@@GA-fn8hr just went by what Naya said in her book
@@fez5228 and I was going by Ryan who wrote the episode. Again you made it sound like Lea was written to do more but Naya had to step in which is not the case.
The fact that nays breaking down crying in the scene is genuine😢
@@aislingopal7802 It was scripted but much later
The way I read tina was that people spent year after year telling her not to cry out be so emotional about anything and now she's having trouble accessing it.
I sob my eyes out everytime i watch this episode, it is just saw raw and emotional. Plus now that Naya is gone, it makes my heart ache even more 😢
It always makes me so so sad seeing Lea in this episode because of how much you can tell the grief was getting to her.
Oh god, not that episode 😭😭😭💔💔💔 #ForeverCory #ForeverFinn
That scene with Carole, Burt and Kurt...OMG...Romy, Mikey and Chris just nailed here 😭😭😭💔💔💔
Ps : In his plaque it says :"The show must go on...in all over the places or something..."
It's actually "The show must go all over the place....or something"

The sense of euphoria that released for me when Santana shoved Sue. It was so satisfying
This is always so heartbreaking to watch. Even more so now that Naya isn't with us anymore. When rewatching Glee I tend to skip this episode. I know I'd be crying a river otherwise♥
Tears just kept spilling down my face like a waterfall watching this episode, and I never cry. I cried the most when Lea sang Make you feel my love.
Thanks for including Mark in this. I know he ended up being a horrible person but he was still a big part of the family and the music.
The scene with Bert and carol always gets me.
This episode BROKE me when I re-watched GLEE after Naya passed
When Carol's actress Romy Rosemont has the scene talking about how you can be a mom when your only child has passed still make me sob every time
Shit, the ending with Will crying over the jacket... goddamnit, that scene in particular broke me...
I love what sue said after all the fight. He was a being with such potential. And now it's gone. You gotta see it from the pain view wich makes sense.
Yeah. Agreed. And most people grieving someone who has passed away before their time consider the death pointless.
I can’t watch this anymore. Cory was hard enough, but Naya’s death shocked my core. I can’t with her ❤
i watch this episode whenever i want a good cry
EVERY time I watch this episode. I cry my heart out and cry from my belly
I lose my mind whenever I see Santana singing that song. Right after she passed I heard this performance and just broke down. She was taken so soon 😭
yeay..you came back for Glee.
The actress who played Finns mom, gave a very real performance. I lost a son and I see so much of that pain in her performance.
You sincerely need to watch the Nationals performance where they pay tribute to Finn again
I bawl through this entire episode EVERY SINGLE TIME i watch it.
Rachel’s performance in this episode always gives me chills. I was living by myself for the first time when Cory died and remember sobbing my eyes out. It felt so tragic and jarring for someone so young to pass like that. Just like the song Naya sang. Sharp knife of a short life.
Glee has such a sad and complicated legacy and this episode hits so hard every time.

BRAVO!

When I first saw this episode the piece that came to mind was Old And Wise by the Allan Pardons Project.

Years later and I still get chills and cry
I cried so much watching this ep. Everyone was crying real tears and truly heartbroken. Especially Lea; her and Cory were together irl.
I have watched the "The Quarterback" once completely. Once was enough.
I still till this day don’t know how the cast was able to film this, while dealing with the grief of Corey because I know I couldn’t.
The part with Fins mom and Schue at the end always kill me. Every time.
I had stopped watching, by the time this originally aired. But after Naya passed, I try to watch this, at least every year and ugly cry. They were both so great!
