Is there a specific way you go about pricing your items?
Hi!!!! Sorry for the delayed response. In my mind, I had answered 😋
So pricing, TBH, 's really up to you and your target client. Also consider, What's your long-term goal? Is this a side hustle (hobby) or business?
For me, it's a business as I seek to eventually quit my boss and venture onto a successful candle business (FAITH ittill you make it doll🙌) with that said, I price my items using the following formula:
👉Cost of materials (cement, pigment, wax, FO, wick, labels, & packaging) + labor (time spend to create ✨) = Total
👉Total *2 = wholesale
👉Wholesale *2= retail.
I'm currently working on a new line and will be relaunching my candles. Stay tuned.
