Hi! I've tried this a few times and I can't get the gold leaf to stay put! It either gets swallowed by the concrete or all moves to the bottom of the mold. Any tips? Lol
Yes! I know what you mean. I've experienced this in the past too. Let me do some thinking and I'll get back to you.
As an alternative, I've seen other creators place the gold leaf on the jars after casting.

Just curious. Do you know the amount of oz of wax that fits in each of the 3-pack of molds? I was trying to calculate everything before it got here.

What kind of concrete/cement do you use? Cement made for hobby-purposes or just regular, everyday cement?
Hi Maria, so far I’ve only used Cement All.
I purchased it at my local Home Depot store ( 25 lbs $16. ) I’m happy with the results. Barely any bubbles and all of the molds turnout smooth.
