I'm so happy that you are on the mend and practicing more self-care. I hadn't realized how badly your injury had brought you down. Love and Light to you Alauna 🙏
😁😁😁😁 love that sunset!!! im wishing to sleep afain in my car, yesterday i put " matelas " bed inside, i was missing it so much. now i need to look for my usb cables for my powerbanks and roof solar panel i screwed to a 99$ cheap roof rack (is cheap compared to 1000$ roof racks i saw 😁... enjoy the road!!! and every spot you stay the days or weeks you stay at 🙂
Great video, I am much older than you and have lived on more than off the road most of my life. Raised children, managed a marriage and many animals. Self care changes as your life changes. I think that’s part of the adventure. The one thing that has stayed consistent is slow down!! For several days or a week, have a relaxing routine for that time, mine is morning stretches and doggie cuddles, a short walk and deep breathing, a matcha and honey just sitting enjoying life. Yoga and free dancing. For me water is healing so I generally paddle board and swim everyday. Good Whole Foods, water and sleep!
Van as a camper, you really want to get a toyata van that has a good track record and then convert it into a camper van. You want a van that was not meant to be a full time vacation van, because this way, it will be made for real driving every single day. Diesel engines last longer and are generally good for 500,000 miles. Plus, if you create the inside yourself, you get what you really want and can have that space work for you such that in 2 week long rainy storms, you'll still have space for yoga and not be so cramped inside. Also, you can insulate a Long Term Storage pantry so that you will have food that won't spoil so easily in higher heat places. You'd be able to fit a Jackery or Bluetti with solar panels. We are heading towards a depression again, such that planning for this might be worth it. It is better to buy now when its cheaper than buy later in hyper-inflation. Best Wishes!
@@AlaunaRoby I mean if you are going to get one, you want to because getting the other kind is financially problematic with all the problems people have had with them.
Excellent thoughts! Thank you for sharing!! Self care! I’ve been trying to get something going. But just some personal physical issues, as well as mental, keep pushing me back! So you keep talking about it ok! I’ll get there.
Great video ❤ My self care is in shambles as I frantically finish my van build to be able to hit the road Aug 1st but I will say my self care routine is the first on my list to tackle once on the road! Mine includes; supplements, daily movement, journaling, and basic hygiene steps that make ME feel like I’m on a new planet (ie washing my face in the morning & before bed) excited to see what yours includes on the next one!
ooohhhh what a change, thats big 😁 lets watch 👍👍👍 edit2: just one week ago i saw movie documentary The Alpinist 🕯️marc-andré Leclerc and i recommend following brette harrington climber and other girls, is just amazing what they do about doing our things and hole, i suggest people, please, to carry some bags, trash bags to carry out what they took inside forest, mountains or beaches, thank you even paper dont disappear in one month, eco is not magic :/

“You want” “you want” “you want” are you me now? I gave my conclusion of what I want at the end 😇

So glad you are thinking this through. More safety with a little less access. Good trade.
I’m not getting an rv 🥴😅
I think living in a sedan is a good idea, but you need a small trailer to put extra stuff
Wish I didn’t have to spend my roof rack savings on medical bills this year but alas
