I cannot emphasize enough how much this video helped me!! We're in the final learning plan of ICD 10 Diagnosis Coding in my Medical Coding program. I was approaching all my exercises so wrong! Now I understand there's an index for external causes! THANK YOU SO MUCH!! This really helps me understand.
So, to clarify; if you broke your nose playing racquetball, how would that be sequenced? Since you're presenting in the ER with a broken nose acquired while playing racquetball, would you code the broken nose first and then the cause, that being racquetball? Thanks so much for taking the time to make this video! I've subscribed and added this video to my list of college related videos to watch again and again.
