We tile in crop here in south eastern Michigan - northern Ohio We do so on soybean fields that we plant early and then tile before they emerge. We then replant those areas with a lower maturity date bean and it's works great . We even have ran tile after harvesting winter wheat then double cropped beans on That land . We use a soil max plow with a johndeere 9570rt we install our own tile . We might lose a 5 to 7 bushels that year but in the long run gain 10 to 20 bushels for years to come .
