As the Once-ler commands, with a heart forged in shale.

A heart that's ruled, despair and darkness enter souls.
A capitalist swine!
The trees fall like bodies in a massacre unclean.
Their roots clutch at the earth, in a silent, futile keen.
Thneeds crafted from the carcasses, the scene so obscene.
Where nature's pleas are muffled by a profit-driven fiend.
Blades whirl, a dance of doom, a relentless revelry,
as the Once-ler laughs atop the corpses of the free.
No mercy in his market, no hint of empathy.
A world consumed by consumption, enslaved eternally!
