  • Drury Lane 4wd track on the outskirts of the Watagans and Olney State Forest is a fun challenging 4x4 track that is full of surprises.
We started the Drury Lane 4wd track just off Mandalong Rd. Drury Lane turned out to be an interesting experience that won't be forgotten easily!
As we followed along Drury Lane we found an abundance of bog holes that mostly have hard bottoms, but in one case we did get caught out and Ben paid the consequences. Ben's Patrol bogged out and started to fill with water before I got the winch on to get him out.
Unfortunately I blew the rear diff in my Hilux and had to take it extra slow and careful, using the winch through a large portion of the back end of the track (I didn't film).
All in all, Drury Lane was an awesome track and one that I'd like to get back to one day to complete the sections I missed...

Bold move hitting that bog hole without a snorkel 😂

I haven't done this track for quite a while.
Not one for the inexperienced and unprepared.
That sealed road is on private property and not recommended to use it.
You turned off before the real shit starts, deep bog holes and huge washouts ahead.
I recommend 2"+ lift, mud tyres and definitely a winch!

After reading ur comment the other day on Creek rd and how “it was a run from hell” I actually was thinking of this day we had out at Drury!
We didn’t film a lot but once my rear diff blew but we spent hours winching outta there!
That sealed rd was a blessing although, yes, it is private property and if we didn’t have such a big issue with the car we would not have been as welcomed as we were…
I would love to go back and give that track another go one day!
Hope ur enjoying the content mate, I see ur getting through a few of em now 👌🏻👌🏻

      That’s annoying hey!
I actually had to redo the replacement rear diff just a few months after well. I got it looked at and they found my rear tail shaft was bent and that is what caused it to go again. All I seen was 💸💸💸😅

Great video again mate. Well done. Not sure about the winching from the bull bar but it worked and no one was hurt.

Hi Dilan, it’s ok and has the majority of the tracks you need but I do tend to switch between it and my phone because it doesn’t have everything. I’d say it’s about 75% of the way there. Is it worth the money?? 🤔 for me yes but for someone else maybe not, just depends on the what your after...

What road do you take to get onto drury lane? Can’t seem to find it on any maps. Good video 👌🏻

    • @shaneod
      @shaneod  3 ปีที่แล้ว

Hey mate glad u liked the video, although there is more to the track then what I filmed due to my diff blowing out...
I had mentioned in the start of the video what road we came in on, but it did take a bit of searching myself to work where it was exactly too.
If you get out there I’d love to hear what you think of the track.
