I love Ms. Tennessee North, and I truly appreciate your input. She said she never understood why her mother was always going to the doctor. Now she says she is going to the doctor every other day. I think she does not realize that cooking all of those foods in ways that are unhealthy, just like her mother did, is detrimental to her health. Sure the food tastes delicious, but it's unhealthy. Oddly enough, my mother cooked similarly. At an early age, I realized it was unhealthy. I am much older now, but I stopped eating all of that rich food. I only go to the doctor for check-ups. I am very healthy. I will splurge on some of those foods for no more than two days during the holidays. Otherwise, I leave it alone.
