Thank you! Loved your explantation. When you say 4 extra bags, does that include the 2 that are already installed on the unit when you buy it? I have 2 bags already installed on the unit when I opened the box and 2 extra bags in the box. Thanks!
There's only 1 bag installed. The other bag is an extra bag. That's a place to hold your extra bags. So you have 3 extra bags now.

Thanks for the video. So I have an i8+ from Costco that I haven’t opened yet. Should I return it for the j8+? You mentioned in your video you’ve used the i8+ as well. Which do you prefer between the i8+ and the j8+? I searched but can’t find the difference between the 2
j8+ is the newer model with a lot more features and I think has a better build quality. I would recommend exchanging it. The i8 is solid but I like the newer model better
How well does this work on wood floors, any risk of damage to floors. We were told no beater bars on the floor vacs. Does this Roomba have a beater bar associated with the vacumn.
I use it on mine with no issue. No beater bar on robot vacuums so far. Most robot vacuums are made for hardwood/tile. Finding one that does carpet is harder. This does both really well.

So we have had the i7+ for years and just upgraded to the eufy x8 ses. We are not impressed that it does empty bin when full and has gotten clogged a couple times so far, it goes by time or cleaning cycle. We are thinking of returning and getting and going with j8+. What do you think?
j7+ and j8+ are both amazing and I've used it for over a year now and still going. I haven't tested eufy out, but I haven't found a lot of good stuff in my research. amzn.to/3tcGjg4

Im ready to return mine. I find it super difficult to program.
Mine runs 15 minutes and parks itself. I also feel the trash bin is smaller than my eufy.

I didn’t see the extra larger battery in my j8 + box from Coctco.
It's installed in the robot. You can't remove it.

Yes it has the POOP warranty included. If the vacuum runs over Dog or Cat poop they will send you a new one for free.
Great review! Do you think the mapping is really helpful? I tried to create maps but seem didn't get any luck yet. Roomba spent endless time mapping even though I removed any possible obstacles; Also after I created a map, Roomba didn't go where I wanted him to clean......
Mapping is worth it. Can take a while. Sheet it's done you need to name rooms, set dividers, set places you do not want it to go, etc... @@Zachus Hey, I just watched the video starting from about 4'10'' is the mapping instruction, right? My problem is Roomba mapped for more than 2 hours but still didn't cover the entire house, which is not that big. I did set dividers, and nogo zoons, named the rooms based on the draft map hahah. Should I try to re-map again?
Its a smart mapping system so it will update the map and expand it as it learns your house and if you ever decide to buy a Braava M6 robot mop it will share the maps

I am considering the S9+ how does that compare please?
S9+ is the top of the line but if the older version. It has really good ratings especial if you have pets. They are working on a new version. I've done a lot of research and found very littler negative reviews on the S9+ but never got it because it was overkill for me.
As far as comparing, it has a different design to get better into corners, stronger engine to handle pet hair, and a higher pile carpet better. Otherwise, it's very similar to the lower model.

Yes it does, no issues unless its a thick rug

The j8 plus does it do mop too? One review I watched the person said the first time it vacuums it doesn’t pick up everything and you have to do each area twice for it to pick up everything, is that true?

Is the like roborock s7 models better?
Better is relative... if you want a vacuum / mop robot that you don't touch for 30 days and only once, then yes the Roborock S7 MaxV Ultra is the best from all I've tried and researched to date. It does both really well.
If you are looking just for a Vacuum and not a mop then the j8+ or j7+ are top of the line options. Easy to use, work great and give you 60-90 days no hassle...
I know it's a lot of information. So I try to break it all down but everyone's needs are different. I hope this helps

No it doesn't
does it pick up everything like dog hair , dog food, crumbs ?
Yes it does. Really good. They even have a POOP warranty as well that it will not pick up or run over poop.

Yes, Costco is still just carrying the j8+ which is solid for vacuuming. If you are looking for a solid Vacuum/Mop combo then I just put up a video on this and another one coming Wed. I do not recommend Roomba for mopping. Hope this helps.
The new j9+ isn't really getting me excited, not even doing a video this year on it. Doesn't seem like much of an upgrade.
