In the Hall of the Mountain King is a keeper! At least keep it just to play it once more. Then see if it's still as cool as you thought. I haven't played it in a while either, I'm keeping it forever 😉
Plenty of good games leaving the collection, because they're not getting played. What do you feel are important factors to a game actually getting played, if just being a good game isn't enough?
There are thousands of games coming out and because of that we are spoiled with having so many great options at our disposal. So, if you think that game is just good instead of great, it will sadly be passed up almost every game night for a game that you think is just a little bit better. Especially if that game does something similar to a different game that you enjoy more, it will certainly be difficult to get it back to the table.
I've culled about 150 games at this point and I regret getting rid of maybe 2-3 of them. Are there any games you've culled that you wish you had back? Maybe that is a video for the future.
Spirit Island was one that I culled and eventually bought again. I gave Blood Rage to a friend and then after I did it, really started liking the game. 🤦

Yeah I got rid of In The Hall of the Mountain King after first play. Just didn’t feel it was all that special which was a shame
I'm doing this too, got rid of Descent 2nd Edition, Twilight Struggle, and Marvel Legendary. No desire to play again, and I'm happy to pass them along
I didn’t play kanban for a year and when I finally got to play it again I loved it just my 2 cents
Thanks for your video post. How are you culling these, via website?
Selling at Gameapalooza 2024 on June 1st along with over 100 others

Not getting rid of that one quite yet. Maybe eventually.
