UTS Startups Friday Confession: We Have with Elizabeth (Izzy) Whitelock

The UTS Startups Confessions event series is set to feature a compelling conversation with Elizabeth "Izzy" Whitelock, a successful business woman and technology entrepreneur. Born in Scotland and raised in an entrepreneurial family, Izzy will share insights into her inspiring entrepreneurial journey.
Izzy co-founded Houston We Have in 2010, a company focused on AI solutions for defense, national security, and intelligence agencies, as well as healthcare, fintech, and venture capital. Under her leadership, the company went public on the Australian Securities Exchange in 2016, becoming one of the few female-led companies to do so. Izzy will discuss the challenges and triumphs of growing the business, securing high-profile clients, and expanding internationally.
As an active advisor and mentor to startups, Izzy will also share valuable lessons learned to help founders navigate the pitfalls of scaling a company. Her passion for Australian innovation and technology, combined with her experience as a GlobalScot, make her an inspiring figure for the entrepreneurial community.
