It's true that investing and taking calculated risks is important in achieving financial success, but what's more important is the mindset and philosophy behind it. Khosla's emphasis on speaking the truth, having a strong belief system, and being persistent and bold in pursuing one's goals is truly inspiring. His message is universal and applicable not just in the world of finance and business, but in all aspects of life. Let's all take a page from his book and strive to live with integrity, purpose, and perseverance.

Then that's ok i guess. For example, if you yourself believe that going to army is the best way to lead life, a belief formed due to being told by your parents. Then you live a more or less fulfilled life, because you think you are doing something worthy.
Problem is if you have something at the back of your mind, but never try it and keep feeling discontent.

Most of the best of this talk is in the first 30 to 40 minutes... From then on it gets a bit 'redundant'.
I agree with the core message:
-Have a "beliefs system"... I would rather say a philosophy, a core of values and work ethics.
-Say what you really think instead of what people wants to hear... They might or might not thank you, but say it.
    -Take bigger risks.
On the other hand and quoting him:
"If I wanted to be a good Doctor In 15, 20 years, I wouldn't go to the Med school, I would go to the math department..."
No man ,you have no idea of the sh_t you are talking in those silly lines... If you took that path you might become a great technician on mathematics applied to science, but nothing more than that... In order to really be a GREAT Doctor not only you can't skip the great amount of knowledge only Medical School can provide you, but you have to be a real human being, in the deepest sense of the expression first...
And that is something I don't wish you to learn when lying and dying on an emergency room bed, just to discover that there is a technician in maths for you in the place where a real Doctor with sense of humanity should be.
(I am stating this as a proud Medical Doctor by the way. 😉)
Thanks for sharing this talk. 👍

Statement at 30:00 appears quite blunt. I am inclined to agree with it

I feel bad, such great people went out of India. India desperately needs good leaders and entrepreneurs.

      Common dude.
Imagine there is a guy having a 90lpa job and if he tells his parents that he is going to start a new company all of a sudden, he is going to be discouraged

Indians are moving out NOT because india isn't great, its just that it's too competitive and crowdy. Why would someone stay And be 3rd, when he could be 1st in other country. ( Economy is a thing as well)
