    I want to understand why the angle from D2 to D3 is 30. Cos the statement say 60.

      That angle isn't 30, but rather it's 60. You measure from the north when it comes to bearing. It seems you are looking at it from the horizontal but you should take it from the vertical (north). Recall that 30 from the horizontal and 60 from the vertical sum up to 90 which is a right angle
