The Vipers first-ever game as a franchise is being played today. Trent Severino, 2023 World Series champion on the Riptides, is now in charge of his own team and has high expectations of being the #2 ranked player in all of Blitzball. It isn't going to be easy, there are a lot of great teams in Como Blitzball and he has to perform to get some wins.
The Mustangs are the fan favorite and are serious World Series contenders. In their two years as a franchise though they have not been able to achieve a World Series win. Always high expectations can sometimes come with disappointment. Back-to-back MVP Sammy Reazer has achieved all the accolades, but he is destined to lead this team to victory. The new rules are stupid. The 3 batter lineup, but then one inning having 4 batters and then switching back to 3. The extra “innings rule” with just 1 pitcher and 1 hitter, no fielders. This rule not as bad as the first two but dumb all the same. The walk with bases loaded, restart the at bat but lower speed limit rule.
